Let me preface by saying I am new to anal toys, so I don't know if this is a common thing or not. I purchased an Aneros in person, in a shop in Osaka. I also got a bottle of the sessions lube. I found the lube I bought at the 3 for 2 price wasn't as thick (viscous?) as the stuff I bought overseas. I checked, and it is in fact a different bar code than what I bought before and has a message that says "made for Aneros by sliquid". The bar code I got previously is 4 580677 950014. The American stuff is 8 94757 00156 0. I don't know if this is a different product I can purchase. Might just be variability from a different manufacturer. Tldr: Nothing wrong with it and it seems to be a good value but I expected it to be thicker.
