    Hi guys

I have been a 'lurker' on the forums for the past few months. I have finally decided to become a member of the forum's and to jump into the rabbit hole (lol) and purchase my first model. The only problem is that I am having trouble deciding which model. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Have a great day

MGX, SGX, Helix, Helix Syn are all good starters.  I think the Helix are the most popular starters.  The SGX i beleive was designed for shorter people, so its not as long as the others.  The helix is all plastic and more solid construction whereas the helix syn is coated in silicone makeing it softer and more flexible.  All of them are good devices and should get you what you are seeking if you give it the time and patience needed.  Good luck.

I'd recommend Helix Syn.  Lotta guys really like it.  I have one (among other models).

Whichever model you decide on here's a suggestion on how to buy it for less $ (if you are in the U.S.)

    Google:  "helix syn amazon.com"

THEN…..check the results to see which sellers have the best price (including shipping).

If you go to amazon.com FIRST….you won't find the best deals.

I know….fuccking weird….but it works and that's how I find the best deals.  Also note, the prices fluctuate, so if you are not in a hurry you can watch the prices move a few dollars this way and that.

I'm from the UK just to let you guys know. I've chosen the helix as my first, it's now just a matter of whether i get the classic or the syn. :-p

Of course the Syn would be better but i haven't used a standard plastic or a silicone model to contrast.

If I brought the classic i would remove the handle because my main position would be me lying on my back. But i've heard removing the handle from the syn may affect p-tab efficiency/contact is this true?

no need to remove the handle if you're on your back.  That's my position.  no problemo.
