The Juicer
  • Recently I purchased a centrifugal juicer to supplement my health and diet.  Each day I begin with two glasses of fresh fruit, and end each day a generous juice packed with a variety of vegetables.  I have read online that celery is great to get water "down there," resulting in a firm prostate and huge loads.  I've read that pineapple not only boosts a man's sex drive, but is also a wonderful courtesy for a swallowing partner.  And finally, I've heard that juicing the rind of watermelon has a natural Viagra-like effect.

    I'm not sure if it's all in my head, but I'm finding the above to be true, although I haven't been brave enough to test the pineapple theory.  In addition to being naturally cleaned out better before Aneros sessions, my sexual life seems considerably enhanced.

    So, anything you guys do diet wise to enhance your sex/Aneros life?
  • All good stuff. I also suggest eating raw garlic. I probably eat more than any sane person would, but it makes me horny as hell. Eat it with pizza (garlic and cheese were meant for each other) or something that won't give you the full spicy effect of raw garlic. It'll burn if you get direct contact on your tongue lol. Don't crush or chop it. Just bite part of a clove with a bite of food. Chew and mix, then swallow.

    @bryeinabox, i recently started to try and get healthy too.  I have been drinking green smoothies, which consist of spinach leaves, celery, pears, a banana and some lemon juice.  Blend it all up and it makes about 20oz.  Amazing how good they make you feel, very awake and alert for the day.  I'm trying to shoot for a smoothie once for breakfast and once for lunch and sensible dinner.  
    I have also heard the same things about celery and pineapple, though like you i have yet to try either out since im abstaining currently.  I have also heard that zinc is very good for large loads along with many other supplements.  I think the key is good balance of different fruits and vegetables, drinking lots of water.
  • I was thinking of investing in a vitamix for health reasons and for my spouse to lose weight. Now you've given me another reason to take the plunge LOL. I like the recipes for smoothies that you give.

    Bear in mind that fruit juices are very high in sugars -- comparable to a standard "brown fizzy drink" made with HFCS.

    @euphemistic, no need for an expensive blender, i use the nutri-bullet for my green drinks and it works fine.  But I do hear the vitamix are outstanding products.  I got my recipe from the beauty detox book, funny, my mom gave it to me lol, im not looking for beauty!  Its basically 1-2 cups spinach leaves, 1 stalk of celery, 1 pear, 1 banana, 1 cup of water and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice.  

    @twiltin, good point, thats why its important to only put enough fruits in to balance the vegetables and to make it drinkable lol.  Though we could get into a discusion about the differences between natural fruit sugars and HFCS, i would rather not, i would just say fruit sugars are more natural and better for the body in limited quantities.  Lets face it, sugar is not really good for us in any amount, in fact I was reading that for most people, if you never ate sugar and I mean zero, you would probably never need to see a dentist.  Nice to think about but not realistic as sugar is in everything these days.
