Aneros get's "sucked in" and nothing happens

I've been at this journey for 3 years now, and have only made baby steps. The past 3 months have started to progress better, but I'm still just at the point of starting to get hints of P waves. Yes, many may ask why I've stuck it out for this long with so little progress, but I know I will get there eventually, and that keeps me going.
Anyway, the issue I wanted to post about today is regarding movement. The first thing I want to describe is my contractions. I have two:
The first is the most common, and I think I'm doing it correctly (but am not 100% sure). I've read that doing the same contraction as when you want to stop the flow of pee is the first/most common, but I also compare this to the same muscles used to "lift" your penis when it is erect.
    Is this correct?

The second contraction is a bearing down on the pelvic floor, similar to when you are trying to push outward.

In my sessions, I usually try to do nothing. If that fails, which it always does, (I give it plenty of time though), I do the first contraction. With the Helix, Syn, MGX, or Progasm, Vice (yes, I have many) the massager seems to pull inwards, and gets "stuck". Nothing really happens. I'll then do the second contraction to push it out a bit, and it will start to move a little on it's own, but usually just moves back to the stuck/pulled in position.
I believe I'm using enough lube, so I don't think that's the issue.
One other thing to note, is I don't think I've "felt" my prostate yet, meaning I don't feel the massager touch anything noteworthy. Maybe it hasn't "awoken" yet?

I also have the Tempo, and this is my favorite, as the stainless steel seems to have no friction, and it has the most freedom. But again, I'm waiting for my body to take over, and do what it wants (just let go...), but it will also pull that in, and get stuck.

I think I'm relaxing enough (have used hypnaerosession in the past, but not recently), but maybe not?

Almost all my sessions are on my back, feet up, with the odd nipple rubbing. But I'm on a couch, so maybe I'm curled up too much?

For feelings I've had, at the very start of the journey (2 years ago), I've had my body do significant contractions (mostly my abdomen) with no pleasure. I haven't had that in a long time.
Lately, I have slight warm feelings in the pelvic region, but they are very slight, and do not last long. Some sessions have a very slight tingling sensation for a few seconds, but again barely noticeable. Some sessions seem to have my heartbeat get stronger, and a little bit faster, and I know these are all good signs.

Looking for suggestions to help me get further along the journey, but I'd assume the response will be to just keep at it.
I just want to be sure there's not something obvious I'm missing.

Im only pretty new to this but have experienced what your talking about. To the point with the peridise that if its drawn in right to the t bar and I try and pull out the bottom nodule, its very hard to do feels like all muscles are pulling hard for it to stay in, even though Im completely relaxed. Firstly I would say yes get off the couch and onto bed and I believe it maybe a result of imbalanced muscle. ie to much anal and not enough PC. A thing I figured out last night was I definitely need more PC bearing, try and work out your PC only for a few days (throughout the day just while your sitting at work, in the car etc).
When I used the MGX I start with light and only go to moderate contraction and not full, making sure to include PC and anal together. In fact a lot of info comes from the post "quick and dirty path to the super-o", by far the best "guide" I have read on here. It talks about equal contraction and then light unbalancing.
It certainly worked for me, I had a great time last night, and only halt in pleasure when I wore out my PC (after about 30mins) and relaxed my clench completely did I get in the stuck position, also then did some maximum clenches which I honestly don't think helps (do them when training for sure) but with the Aneros in I think mid-less contraction is best.
Thats just my opinion anyway , work out that PC muscle, try and isolate it and get a little excitement going before you lay on the bed, watching porn or even thought, but watching tv on couch certainly had me in the stuck position straight off. Always keep that base contraction to, backing off completely gets me out of the zone in a big way. Hopefully some more seasoned vets can assist further, but thats what worked for me, and you maybe the same?

    hey iceman99,
I hear you. Last two classic (ps-new) sessions I've had much the same as your second situation. My Classic gets well sucked in and is snug against prostate. It's getting a solid muscular "hug" and I'm locked up like a pair of canines in a 'tie' -- http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/breedingtie.htm -- (appologies if this is a bit beastial)

Anally contracting does nothing save for tightening the 'hug.' Shoving outward pushes the toy outward but when I relax it snaps right back into the snug position. I only recall only one similar situation and that was with the SGX, using Condom-lube and it was over two years ago.

I figure this is a situation of a near perfect fit between me and the Classic since it's not happening with other toys like the Helix, Maximus or Eupho. Both times I've just relaxed, breathed and enjoyed the tension and I get a bit of motion to allow Classic's nibs to play my prostate for a chain of three or four dry-Os.

It sounds like you have carried it to the next step and your canal is shaping itself to the toy then executing the "hug" since you are getting this with more than just one shape of tool.

First69's suggestion for physical conditioning is worthwhile for everyone and should be something we all routinely undertake. I'm not much in favor of ever pulling out a toy that is being 'hugged'

If relaxation and breathing isn't loosening you up, I'd suggest some peripheral stim. -- Nips, a foot strike, or a male deer exercise -- http://www.umaatantra.com/tantra_articles/male_deer_exercise.html --. As an alternate, assume a Lotus pose and try some nips --. In the past that's given me a streaming hfwo. Certainly a release but not my "cup of tea."

If you've got estim gear, that might be worth a try.

    all the best.. Blessings.... rook

I really benefited from the suggestion on the fourms to lay on a bed, with a pillow under your butt. It seems to put everything in the right position with positive contact with the prostate. I've tried the couch, and it hasn't worked so well. No TV I guess.

try kneeling down next to the bed with your hands and arms on the bed for balance

gravity will help pull the aneros out

Well Well! It seems we have two members with the same Avatar. Hadn't noticed this before!

    Iceman,
While I agree with almost everything said in the other posts in this thread I'd like to throw in a couple of suggestions of my own.

First: I think perhaps your body may be a little confused and needs to become used to one model before experimenting with several others. The problem here is finding out which one is best for you. I can only suggest you follow the advice of P.Mayfield, Rumel and others who I think would recommend either the MGX or the Helix. I think it was the Helix that originally woke my prostate and then I moved on to the Eupho. This one remains my favourite and most reliable in spite of having some success with almost all others. The new Helix SYN might just be the answer for you but if you decide to go with this one, stick with it for a while.

Second: As mentioned by others above, you might have to get off the couch and move to your bed. While many members of this forum swear by lying on one's back, I think you will find that almost as many have better success by lying on one side (for me the right side seems to work best).

Third: While working various muscle groups is very useful, may I suggest that the tool itself might in your case, tell you which muscles work best. I think this is what is behind the "Do Nothing" approach. Eventually you will find that mild involuntary contractions will occur and that these will do the job automatically. I think we can tend to overanalyse which muscle groups to use and when. I find this distracting.

Fourth: If you go for several weeks with seemingly nothing happening at all, just don't worry about it. One day something very nice will happen when you least expect it.

    Good Luck!

    Thanks for the suggestions gang!
I think the biggest thing I was looking for was confirmation that the sucked-in position is what's wanted. I guess that mean's it's "in place". The only real "movement" I'm getting seems to be after I pull it out a little bit, or do a push out contraction. It starts to move back into "sucked-in" position.
I did have a bath the other night with the Tempo, and made some progress, but it's hard to tell what's happening in a tub full of water.

I think I just have to keep at it, and work on relaxing further. One thing I will try is going off the couch, or laying on my side.

For those of you that have progressed quite far, does the Aneros actually start going in and out when the involuntary contractions start, or is it more of an internal rocking (or both)?
I think I'm expecting it to start working itself in and out (a little bit), and that may not be correct.

Iceman...it's a very subtle rocking motion, where the anal and PC muscles fight for control to keep it in place. The motion is barely, if at all, visible from the outside....but you'll feel it when the involuntaries. If you haven't already seen it, look up a post with a subject like "quick and dirty approach to the Super-O"...it was only a week or 2 ago.

Also try to relax your sphincter muscles...the sucked in motion is cause by the anal muscles...if the sphincter is tightened up it's not moving anywhere and you shouldn't have to push out like you're having a BM. So in short you have your PC (stop pissing) muscle, anal/rectum (to suck inand push out), sphincter (pinch one off).

Anyone can correct my description/ideas/anatomical names here...my feelings don't matter as long as it helps.

Very helpful thread, it made me realize I've been experiencing the same problem with overly limited mobility of the Aneros (in my case, typically a Helix). Last night I tried propping a pillow underneath my back/butt and sitting up a little more than usual, and the difference was noticeable right away.

Thing is, I've been at this for almost a year now and I was getting lots of great sensations even with the Aneros just hugging the prostate and not moving very much. So now that I've got some movement happening, it's so much easier and faster to start things going! I feel like I might really be on the verge of another big milestone now. Cheers!
