Incorrect Rewiring?

I have the feeling that I have been rewired, but incorrectly!

I have been on this journey for almost exactly two years and have been enjoying steady progress until about two months ago. I don’t think I have ever experienced a Super-O and the fact that I haven’t doesn’t worry me unduly.

Until the beginning of April, I was able to receive anal orgasms of some kind, at some point, in most of my sessions but since then I have been unable to proceed beyond what Artform calls “butt buzz”.

My wife insists that on going to bed, she has the bedside radio set to ‘sleep’ mode so that it switches itself off half an hour after we have gone to bed. I actually find this quite distracting but use that time simply to relax into my session. The problem is that, by the time the radio has switched off, I am receiving quite strong butt buzzes but am unable to proceed beyond that. (BTW I normally have about three sessions each week although lately I have reduced that to two).

In this condition, the muscles deep inside my pelvis seem involuntarily to clamp onto the device, (regardless of which model it is), so that it is almost impossible to relax properly. In fact, it takes some effort to release this contraction and it immediately returns as soon as I relax again. While this feeling is not unpleasant, it is in no way erotic and simply becomes tiresome if allowed to continue for more than an hour or so. (Pun intended)!

I am now finding that as soon as the device is removed at the end of a session, the butt buzz returns and continues until I eventually fall asleep. Upon waking in the morning, I can also easily call up the butt buzz again in what I had thought were echo effects. Added to this is the fact that I now frequently feel butt buzzing, complete with tensing of internal pelvic muscles, while reading posts on this forum!

I would be interested to hear from anyone else who has had a similar experience and to receive any advice on how to move on beyond this condition.

    Pommie:

Very interesting to hear about your situation, because for a long time I have felt that I have been rewired in some other way as well. Like you I have been at this nearly two years, have never had a super-O, but have had a very satisfying adventure nevertheless. I have never had the involuntary clamping you describe, but the butt buzz is very familiar, including my ability to call it up at nearly any time.

I have come to believe that there are probably a number of alternate forms of rewiring, some leading toward the ultimate goal of super-Os, and others leading off into very pleasant, but less spectacular, destinations. In my case, as I have described in some earlier posts, my rewiring has gone toward my testicles, which have become highly responsive to tension and/or pressure, and lead me to a wonderful mental state. There is never an orgasm, but there is an indescribable sense of pleasure and peace, which I can often sustain for up to an hour.

In some respects these alternate pathways may complement the more common and desirable journey, but in other ways I think they conflict with it. In your case, the involuntary clamping is obviously not helping. I’m guessing there is a way to isolate and suppress that response, but I have no idea what it is.

Your mention of the radio is interesting. This works for me in two ways. Often I need complete silence to be able to focus all my attention, but other times I find that the distraction of listening to the news on the radio actually helps. I think these are times when I am over-concentrating on arousal and need to be distracted. When I turn the radio off I find I am more aroused. At these times it becomes clear that some of the desired arousal mechanisms are working at a subconscious level, and actually work better when the conscious mind is distracted.

Somehow your pelvic muscles have become conditioned to contract upon insertion. As with other kinds of conditioning, there is a way to reverse it. I hope you find it.

Hey Pommie, U were cooking along great and you produced some stellar vibes with Tempo a couple of months ago; however, I tend to think of Tempo as a anal tool with limited prostate capability. The only time I get prostate contact is when I'm sitting erect, press the base of the tool onto my sitting surface and 'scrunch' to force my bladder and prostate downward. That said though, I've followed your Tempo routine (tks BTW) and have enjoyed some grand anally centered spasms and dry-Os.

Thank you -- it really helped me squeeze every dime out of that investment !!

I'm rather conservative though when it cums to changing my orgasmic sessions and am hesitant to switch away from my primary Oragasm tool (now either Helix or Eupho). I've kept it that way since my second or third Super-O in March of 2010. I visit other Aneros tools though but just for play or therapy and never for an intentional openness for a dry-O.

If any of this makes sense, consider a one or two week break. Then revisit the last prostate tool you were using before Tempo came into our lives. I've done that twice since the first of the year whenever I had three 'dud' sessions in a row. I fill that time with a lot of low-impact aerobics combined with regular anal play with toys other than the Aneros.

We fringed on breaks in Craig's thread -- http://www.aneros.com/forum/f5/contract-not-contract-question-15637/ -- My break routine is post #7 on his thread.

Regarding the radio, I understand exactly what Woodsman is saying. Riding through a series of well-known mp3 tracks with no surprises is a great way for me to stay 'on-track' during a session. I believe though that a broadcast, produced as original collection of works or items would get my brain going and break my meditation. Tends to lead me into trivia like, "when was the last time I changed the oil filter on my car? "

    Also on breaks:

'ArcticWolves' post is #5 and a gent named Pommie posted #7 both have good sage remarks

OTOH, a couple of times last year I felt I was getting too deep into the rewiring thing and backed off a bit. I was feeling "the Force" of being able to summon Orgasms. I'm a bit hesitant to go there despite the good words from Artform, B.F. Mayfield, Jack Johnson and Mog. Maybe some day but for now I cherish my anal and prostate experiences on the path or an orgasm. So, while I can't summon orgasms, "on-call" I enjoy what I have and try to stay in that grove.

    Woodsman & rook,

It is always nice to know one can find others on common ground. I agree with both of you regarding the use of the radio. On the whole though, I find myself actively listening to it, especially as it is mainly talk. Perhaps I should accept that it is also so much drivel and switch off mentally! It would be nice to be able to drift into a meditative state and am now aware that I have raised this topic at least once before.

Thank you for reminding me of those previous threads. I had actually forgotten that I had written those things and hadn’t realised there was that much wisdom therein!

Believe it or not, I have been taking my own advice but so far it hasn’t worked for me. I took a break of a couple of weeks earlier this month precisely because I thought that this would serve to recharge the batteries. I was more than a little disappointed to find that things hadn’t changed at the end of that time. Meanwhile, I have decided to reduce my sessions to two a week. Any less than that and the dreaded piles start to play up!

With reference to Tempo, it is a while since I have played with that one. Realising that it really isn’t a prostate massager, I was using it more to help with haemorrhoids but after the initial flush of success with it, I found it more comfortable using the 20mm or 18mm Peridise. I found the Tempo was keeping me awake all night so I backed off. The two middle Peridises seem to work wonders for this problem.

Thank you dear rook for your comments in your final para. I tend to agree, we are not greedy for the Super-O, but I would just like to get back what I had a few months ago. Perhaps I should stop dwelling on it but this clenching thing does seem to be a bit of a problem!

RE the radio, for me I believe it is important that I have control over it, so that at the moment I find the distraction is not helping I can switch it off, and that if I did not have this control it might be a real hindrance.

I’ve found there is a tradeoff between aneros sessions that are too frequent versus too infrequent, which is probably different for each of us. During the past few months I began using the device less and less often, partly because I was not making progress, partly because I was spending the time learning to arouse my testicles. One day I realized that I was no longer getting that daily glow from my prostate, it seemed to be going back to sleep. It appears to be another example of “use it or lose it.” I’ve resumed sessions of two or three a week now; it took about three sessions before the glow began coming back.

You may have seen in the news a story about a young paralyzed man who was fitted with electrodes on his spine and was able to stand up for the first time in years. The surprising theory is that many lower-body functions seem to be directed not by the brain but by the spinal cord itself. This may have no practical impact on our ongoing goals, but it could suggest that your problem with the internal muscle clamping might be driven not by the brain but by the spinal cord. I wonder what would happen if you tried lying with a hot water bottle under your back during a session. I know that when I strain my back, the spasms nearly instantly disappear when I go out and spend some time in the hot tub.
  • check out aneros download CD it actually really helped me relax.

Interesting to see that someone else is having the same problem that I am having. Have been using the aneros for many years 3-5, not sure but have been a while. I have had the blessing of obtaining the super-O many times in the past and can still get there at times.

The problem that I am having is it seems that my body has switched to more of anal orgasms and not the prostate for some reason. I have used the helix, progasm, and mostly the smaller peridise. I have even taken long breaks in between sessions to try and get it to reset so to speak. Even during the long session breaks I get that "butt Buzz" and energy movement in my butt and up my spine into my head "kundalini energy".

    Any suggestions?

Everyone is different, butt here's how those words describe what I get:

When I feel intense pleasure that floods the Navel chakra and pelvis with warmth and the physical action starts with involuntary anal flutters, then anal spasms and finally cycling oscillations I refer to it as an Anal Orgasm. Those are triggered by anal insertion (as with Peridise or Tempo) or lower rectal pressure (as from retained fluid). Prostate contact isn't needed. I've not had this sort of action from a set of Anerosless contractions.

OTOH, I call it a Prostate Orgasm when I get pleasure waves along with invountary ano-rectal contactions that stimulate the prostate and/or the PC muscle group while spreading warmth into the Navel Chakra. Sometimes I also get warm (rather than burning) sensations along the ventral surface of my penis reaching the frenulum (e.g. "banjo string"). Those resemble the "gotta-pee" feeling but are warm rather than being like a mild 'sting.'

Another sure indication of a 'prostate focused' orgasm is extreme pleasure with visuals like hallucinations, accompanied by that I call a rectal clench. That's when the smooth muscles in the rectum contract and 'hug' the Aneros, accompanied by a buzzing sensation in my PC muscle group.

My "Anal Orgasms" are not 'dreamy or blissful.' My Prostate Orgasms have more pleasure wave iinvolvement, more 'dry-O chaining' and can reach Super-O proportions.

We need more contributions on this.

    Hello, Zenith.

You described my anal orgasms perfectly. Before I got a Vice, I'd never had one and thought they were a myth. It was the vibe on the Vice that did it, causing those involuntary sphincter spasms and a lot of pleasure. Without the vibe, I get "normal" prostate orgasms from the Vice.

Your description of prostate orgasms also aligns with my experiences. Eupho and Helix give me prostate orgasms along with Super-Os that can get very hallucinogenic and out of hand if I let them go that far. Generally, I prefer to hover in that dreamy, blissful state you mentioned.

    Cheers,

    Dave

zenith - right on mate yer description is articulate and IMO very accurate ...

my only disagreement would be that "[your] Anal Orgasms" are not 'dreamy or blissful'

... in my own experience penile, anal, and prostate orgasms are different animals - butt each has the potential to be dreamy blissful and even a hallucinogenic life-influencing experience

On the subject of incorrect rewiring, I have a feeling that my problem may have been resolved.

Again, I took my own advice and backed off to just two sessions each week and for the past couple of weeks I seem to have been obtaining more consistent results. For a while there, in my over-eagerness to progress, I had been experimenting with a double session on those nights when Aneros activity was on. I would spend a couple of hours with the Helix (or similar), then sleep for a few hours and then use the Eupho or a Peridise for an hour or so. During none of this activity was I able to get beyond the feeling of P-waves and certainly didn’t experience any form of orgasm.

During the past couple of weeks, having only a couple of sessions each week and limiting those sessions to no more than an hour and a half and using just the modified Eupho, I have managed to experience several AOs during each session. Some of these have been quite powerful although I still doubt they would be described as Super-Os but most enjoyable all the same.

Reducing the number of sessions seems to have increased the sense of anticipation for the next one and I have little doubt that this has helped me get over that hump.
