More progress....and a question
  • I only get to use my Helix once every month or so because I don't get to be alone at home very often with the wife and kids. I don't have a serious problem with that, but it's not really conducive for rapid progress. So I accept the "baby steps" of progress that I do get.

There are two things I know that work for me:

    1. I can never use too much lube, even if it feels like the Helix is going to swim out of my butt!

    2. If I get an itchy feeling inside my rectum that needs to be "scratched" by the Helix, I know that I'm on to a good session!

Today, I probably had my best session yet. I used my wife's vibe for added stimulation, everywhere imaginable, EXCEPT the penis. Once my prostate was "glowing" I shut down the vibe and that's where the real fun began. I fully gave in the fantasies that were rolling around in my head and became an absolute slave to the Helix for several minutes. I was so lost in the moment that I didn't care if someone caught me at this. The pleasure built up inside me until I exploded into the most intense orgasm that I could describe with tons of clear fluid coming out. WOW!

This was a totally different orgasm in that the pleasure explosion was entirely inside me and not focused at all on my penis. But it was one-and-done like a penile orgasm. My body seem satisfied with what had happened and I didn't feel aroused anymore. But UNLIKE a penile orgasm, I felt rather energized afterward and didn't feel like going to sleep. Interestingly enough, I got a big erection about half hour after my session had ended, but I had no time to act on that since I had to move on to other things.

I note that some of the men here can chain together one orgasm after another after another and so on. Maybe someone has been to the same point that I am now and can shed some light on this for me.

    My questions are:

    1. If I had remained in my session for a while longer, would I have been able to quickly recharge my arousal and achieve multiple orgasms. I was surprised how quickly I could get an erection after I had just had a massive orgasm.

    2. Would the second, third, fourth, etc orgasms come in quicker succession? From what I have read here, sometimes you can ride the multiple orgasms from one to the next as though surfing a wave.

Over the next couple of weeks, I should have a few opportunities to explore this further. Can't wait to try it again!

Thanks for any assistance and insight

    Hello, New Yorker.

Sounds like you've made some great progress. Considering the infrequency of use, that's amazing.

Warming up your prostate with a vibe is a neat shortcut, but it has the downside of being a one-shot, as you discovered. That's because you relied on the vibe to become pre-orgasmic. In theory, you could use the vibe again and get another dry-O. (I know, it wasn't really dry. Mine aren't either.) A better solution is to forget the vibe and use the Helix by itself to get there. That way, your body can use it's own resources to rev up a second, third or fourth time.

On the other hand, as a recent Aneros VICE user, I have to admit that letting the vibe shortcut the arousal process is a real time saver, and it does work over and over again, frequently leading into a super-O with or without the vibe turned on.

You also mentioned that your Aneros use is strictly solo. While that's fine, it seems to limit your access to Aneros sessions. If your wife could get into it, you might be able to Aneros at least once a week. I assure you, one sure way to ramp up session excitement is to involve your wife. I got my wife into this by starting with the health benefits for my BPH issue. She picked up on the pleasure aspect very quickly. Much fun ensued.

In any case, keep on practicing.

    Best Regards,

    Dave

Believe me, I'd LOVE to get my wife in on this. But she is very "traditional" when it comes to sex and anything involving "the butt" is a NO-NO. I love her and respect her enough not to take her to places that she doesn't want to go. I can't really use the health benefits angle because I don't have any problems with my "plumbing". I'm completely in this for the pleasure. Maybe I can tell her that it would prevent FUTURE problems. LOL!

Anyhow, I appreciate input from people who have "been there, done that." More suggestions are welcomed! I've had the Helix for little more than a year. Even with the sporadic use, I'm able to incorporate progress from past sessions and put them all together for the next session. Adding my wife to the mix would probably result in a quantum leap in progress (assuming that she accepts my use of this strange toy), but I'm afraid of the can of worms that I would open if I attempt that.

Like you, NY, my wife is very traditional and won't go near the area where an Aneros is used and I don't push the issue. Have merely told her what the device is and that it helps prostate congestion and improves erectile function, a benefit for our sex together which she appears to appreciate. As to your questions, I have from about three to sometimes seven orgasms one succeeding another--kind of like waves as you allude to--during a given session depending on how well the session goes. My erections come strongest with the first and next couple orgasms, then gradually subside thereafter, as does the intensity of the subsequent orgasms. My Eupho is my most consistent, intense performer and I'm the opposite with lube, just enough to make it slippery (a dab of Vaseline to the anus and a light coating of KY to the tool).
  • One thing I notice with the Helix is that it doesn't press on my perineum as firmly as I think it should. And the whole Aneros thing is the prostate-perineum feedback loop (according to the wiki's, etc). Maybe that explains why I have to use a vibe to crank things up initially. I'm aware of the medicine dropper bulb trick. I'll have to try that out next time I can get a session in.

    New Yorker;

Careful with the P-tab business. Firm contact can be very irritating, even with a buffer layer. Any contact at all will work for feedback purposes and it doesn't have to be right on center, either.

As far as I can tell (and I'm no expert) the main feedback loop for the new circuit you're building is the one that couples small muscle movements with prostate pleasure. The perineum feedback appears to be secondary, at least for me. I get excellent results even when the P-tab is floating.

On a related note, the P-tab on the VICE is very different from the Helix's; big, soft and almost always in contact. When it is drawn in to heavy contact, it acts like an orgasm inhibitor, holding me on a plateau. I find myself pushing the VICE out a bit to lose P-tab contact so I can get over the top. The K-tab, on the other hand, helps things along. Interesting, how these various pressure points operate.

    Cheers,

    Dave
  • Had another session last weekend and was able to bring myself up to a "dry-O" without the assistance of the vibe. But after the dry-O, the arousal fell off a cliff once again and the Helix felt like a piece of plastic in my butt...so, session over.

There is no doubt I'm getting great prostate contact. But it seems like the P-tab arm needs to be at least another inch longer to even get close enough to my sweet spot (where it feels the best when my wife hits it  ) to get the perenium-prostate feedback loop going. I'm always "working at it" to get the Helix to hit the prostate, which is certainly delicious in itself. But to date, I haven't been able to get the involuntaries going to kick start the "auto-f***" sequence that would take me to Super-O land. I'd love to be able to hold a position and just have the pleasure take over without having to grind away at it.

Is this an issue of mind over matter or do I need to try a different tool? From what I can tell, P-tab arm length are similar with all models (within a fraction of an inch) and only the Progasm has something radically different with the K-tab and it's shear size.

    Congrats on your progress!

There are some old threads you can find by searching this site which deal with modifying the P-tab arm so it will fit better. You might have to do that. There's no guarantee that the tab setup on Progasm or VICE would be any better for you.

As for getting the involuntary contractions to happen; that takes time and lots of practice. It's a learned thing. You can't make it happen by force of will. In fact, trying to force anything with mental energy seems to be counterproductive for Aneros processes. Go figure. You want to get to an "observer" mental state, fully relaxed in order to enable the Helix to do its own thing. This was the really hard part for me and many others here. The particular Aneros tool you use is kind of beside the point regarding involuntary contractions.

  • I find that the key is the relaxation response. One can go to arousal but to go into multiple prostate orgasms you need to then relax and let the energy move though your body. So it is a different feeling to the arousal phase.
Another key is to make sounds. This unblocks the 5 chakra allowing the energy to move out into the world.
I also move my hips and body to allow the energy to move.
  • I hear what you guys are saying about relaxation. The biggest stumbling block for me in regards to relaxation are time constraints. I almost never have at least a few hours when I know I won't be interrupted by something or someone. The few times that I have more than an hour to play with, I'm all into the arousal....pushing for results.

    All in due time. It's a journey. . .
