Am I on the right path?

You can read my past in my blog, but I'll quickly explain it.

I use a helix. My sessions are typically 2-3 times a week, 40-80 minutes each. I generally smoke an herb and shower, watch some porn, slide in my helix, do some breathing exercises, then get on with the contractions on my side. Each session I've had, I've always had some feeling. For the first few weeks, I obtained p-waves. Then 2 times, I had some pretty damn intense muscle shaking without pleasure. Now, I'm edging on an orgasm; I haven't had one yet, but I get the feeling one gets before an orgasm inside me, not in my penis. I don't shake, but I get involuntaries in my groin/waist area.

Today, I got 3 or 4 of those feelings. I think I was focusing to much on the feelings in that area to progress. What should I be thinking about/doing at this stage? Should I change my contraction lengths and power? Should I focus on the feelings or the breathing? Am I on the right path?

Also, I was wondering... are mini/dry-o's actually orgasms? Do they give those feelings of satisfaction or are they just weak orgasms? Am I having o's or are they just pre-o feelings?

I'm going to be extremely glad the day I find some type of orgasm, but I'm trying not to be expecting something

i'm just starting to get aneros orgasms, even though i don't have a helix, i can say that it sounds like your getting close......you just haven't been taking over the edge yet.......i think everything your doing is correct......at this point, i was just like you until i learned to let go and stop thinking so much about what to do and to just focus on the feelings......and then when i least expected it, the orgasm came

    HxC,

[QUOTE=HxC;94799]I think I was focusing to much on the feelings in that area to progress.
From what you have described, I think you are definitely on a positive path.

Since each man's Aneros journey is unique, there really isn't a specific formula of techniques to advance one toward the Super-O. I always advise users to experiment with a variety of techniques (and the variety is endless) and refine those techniques to which your body responds. Follow the pleasure path, your body responds to stimulation in various ways, the language of body sensations is what your mind needs to listen to. In the requisite relaxed state of being you will be able to detect and take note of all the subtle sensations taking place throughout your body.

Various breathing techniques can facilitate entering and maintaining a good relaxed mind/body state. If you find yourself getting caught up in "mind noise" and losing focus on listening to your body, gently coax your attention back onto your breathing pattern and then back into the state of "attentive passivity" as termed by 'B Mayfield'.

While some men may think of any sensation short of an ejaculatory response is not an orgasm, IMHO, what are frequently termed mini-O's and dry-O's are indeed actual orgasms. I believe orgasms span a wide range of intensity, from almost imperceptible to full body spasms of intense pleasure. I prefer the term 'less intense' as opposed to labeling them 'weak' or 'strong' as those terms may have negative attributes attached to them. I think you have been experiencing orgasms of varying intensity but how you define "...feelings of satisfaction..." is a very subjective matter and is more psychological than physical.

Continuing your practice, without expectations, and experimenting with slight variations in your present routine along with patience will most likely be rewarding as you move forward in your journey.
