Is there a good slang word for prostate?
  • Every time I write the word prostate it just sounds too clinical. And worse, it makes me think about cancer, which is a total downer. :)

Anyone know if there's a good slang word for it? Or if there isn't, who wants to take a stab and making one up?

    Captain Faust,

The prostate has often been referred to as the male G-Spot or Sacred Spot (
in Tantra). Occasionally it is also called the 'P-Spot' for obvious reasons. Just as the foreign word 'lingam' is used for the word 'penis', I'm sure there are other foreign words for prostate which could be easily adopted as substitute slang words in English.

@toker - The words "sweet spot" as commonly used on this Forum refer to an entirely different body area, not the prostate.

I was once saw the prostate referred to as the glory organ here in the forum . I don't know why, but it made me nauseous. DON'T LIKE IT ! I'll stick with P-spot .

Welcome again Captain Faust and great to see you starting to blog too!! :D :D

My first avatar here was a Cosmic Egg, a type of upright standing ovoid rock(lingham+yoni) with a streak of red oxide running through it, the symbol of the merged male/female energies potential in the universe in East Asian imagery. I think of my prostate as my living cosmic egg and energetics antenna!! I also see it as the Philosopher's Stone, the alchemists' catalyst for transmuting dross into gold of a spiritual order. Hardly slang, butt I like 'em both. How about your "third stone" or "third rock", as it literally is if your are "getting your rocks off". Our internal "Third Rock", here spinning on the "Third Rock from the Sun"... and our mediator of orgasmic to universal energies...

Since the prostate is sometimes described as being like a walnut and it produces such wonderful feelings, we could call it the "wondernut".
  • Hmm, "third rock." I'll just shorten that my "number 3" alright?

Most of these were better than my idea. I was going to call it my "prossie." But then I realized that might cause some confusion.

Most of the Western languages including Russian ( простата ) and German call the Prostate something very close to our pronunciation.

Asians do better. Japanese is quite classy with: " Zenritsusen "

That leaves me with the likes of the Urban Dictionary:

    Skeet Factory
    Skeet Machine
    Skeet Pump

Hey toker, no strain on this.

No Grrrrr from anyone. Just an effort to place a simple label on something that's not identified in Western Anatomy.

An alternative label for the perineal acupressure point or the Aneros 'sweet spot' is "CV-1" or Hui Yin (taoist term)

however a pic is worth..... -- Acupressure for Lovers - ARTICLES --
  • Well, I thought I had heard prostate massage termed "milking the mouse" at one point, although Urban Dictionary disagrees. It follows that the prostate might be called "the mouse"?

Hmmm, think I recall the term from perhaps 30, maybe 40 years ago. Term may have lived and died before the Internet or Urban Dictionary came into existence.

    Sounds valid!

We have a winner! I like that one Imp.
  • the euphoria gland
  • ""man gland" is my choice ...

but for those who have wakened the gland's pleasurable potential (i'm enroute but not quite there yet)

... for those, "wondernut" is perfect!

    Thanks to BF Mayfield.

You have won me. From now on, I shall think of it only as 'Powerpoint".

Captures the essence of it beautifully!

  • I concur that "Wondernut" is a clear winner but as an outside chance of second place I'd just like to offer up: "Jazz-Nugget"! Kinda snappy, eh? ;-)

    HI Bobby B!! :D :D

I do like your offering "Jazz-Nugget"! I too think Wondernut is a great suggestion by imp! Butt it still has nothing like a consensus here yet. This great burst of linguistic creativity needs to carry on further, IMHO.

I have been mulling the idea that the prostate is actually the key to the full spectrum of body/mind energies and bringing them to conscious orgasmic experience and beyond! Since my prostate has energized great flights of bliss and universal-union Spiritual Orgasms too, I have been puzzling how to capture that full spectrum or orgasmic energetics explorations: http://www.aneros.com/forum/f5/super-o-spectrum-whats-your-point-view-15328/

So far the the idea that keeps crowding in is the name of 1960s folk group: "The Great Speckled Bird". I tried "Great Spectrum Bird" butt it seems a little forced. Since my prostate responses enthusiastically to me humming resonant frequencies to it like my Orgasmic Trigger Tune !!!, it all starts to fit and I keep thinking of mine, at least for the moment, as my "Great Specked Bird" Fly me baby!!! Fly me!!!

"Fly me to the Moon and let me swing among the stars..."
