Where to begin...
  • I suppose I'll get right to the point. I guess I really don't know what my prostate being touched feels like. I have had quite a few great sessions where I thought I was going over the edge....and then I've had duds where I couldn't get anything goin. When I try to concentrate on the feelings I'm recieving, I feel them in many different spots. Some that seem like it's right behind my balls, others that seem like they are next to my perenium, and others that seem like they are in my anus. They all feel good in their own way. I just don't which one is my prostate I guess. It's been quite a bit of time since I've had body shaking and spasms. Don't know what happened. I used to get them all the time. What do you concecntrate on? Contractions? Fantasy? Internal feelings? Also I can isolate my muscles pretty well. I seem to be tightening the middle one. Not sure if this is the right one. To me it feels like theres one up front which to me feels like I tighten right under my balls. Then theres the one around my perenium. Then of course the anus. Maybe I just can't focus. I don't know. Maybe I'm trying to hard. I have tried doing nothing before, and that didn't do anything. I have tried light contractions, harder contractions. Oy! Just can't seem to find it. Just don't know what I'm doin wrong. Maybe this was all to vague. Maybe I didn't explain well. I just hope someone can help. When I have things workin right, the feelings are fantastic. Loads of pre cum. Spasms, shakes. All that. But what worked this time, maybe won't work next time. Thats another delema. Well, sorry so long. If anyone has any advice..I would appreciate it. Thx

I think as you get more experienced and learn to read your own internal body language, your body will let you know when it is ready for a session. Just don't know what I'm doin wrong.I don't think you are doing anything "...wrong...". it is more likely you haven't found the right combination for that particular session. One thing you didn't mention was trying to hold a contraction indefinitely. When you try to hold a contraction (try 50%), muscle fatigue will eventually settle in and the muscles will start to spasm, this is the involuntaries setting in, which can then start a chain reaction of other sensations, including the production of P-waves.When I have things workin right, the feelings are fantastic... But what worked this time, maybe won't work next time. Thats another delema.Yes, indeed that is a dilemma, but one we all have to contend with in each session. I usually need to try a variety of techniques to find what is working most effectively in that particular session. Be adventuresome and try something new as well, you just may surprise yourself.

    Craig030713, that was exactly how it was for me for months, unsure the Aneros was even contacting my prostate inside. My approach during the rewiring process was to relax and do light PC contractions and "feel" for quivering, fluttering anal contractions and see how I could amplify them with nipple stimulation and varying the contractions. It took months but eventually, involuntary rectal contractions accompanied these and after months more, orgasmic feelings that would build in my pelvis and try to flow out to my penis. It took almost a year before full orgasms started coming but the benefits to my prostate health and to my erectile and orgasmic sexual experiences with my wife was worth all the time and effort.
  • Rumel and Slimjim, Thanks for your quick responses. I appreciate them a lot. Definitely an up hill battle. One I'm willing to keep climbing. Even though I have never had a Super-O, the feelings are fantastic when things are workin. I noticed that I had really good results when I had numerous sessions a week, over a two or three week period. Now a days I probably only have 1 maybe 2 sessions a week. I wonder if it's like the old saying "use it or lose it". Maybe my muscles were more developed and tighter then. Like I said before, I can isolate the muscles well, but don't do nearly enough exercises to keep them tight enough. I know good PC muscles can be key. Certainly won't hear any complaints from me if I add more sessions a week. LOL. I certainly enjoy trying. Again gentlemen....Thanks!

    I also progress quicker with 5-6 session a week,this is an earlier post of mine.

    For me it seems i progress quicker with series of session once a day for 5 days and then give myself a break of 2 days,i think it's because i end the session very aroused and pick up again with that feeling the next day.
    Also a big factor is i live alone and can have sessions every day totaly relaxed without fear someone will walk in.
    My favorite for now is the progasm ice,just breathing is enough to get things going.
    Last night i had my 5th session in 5 days and it was the most intense so far,i finely had that constant feeling in the tip of my penis like you are just about to come but you don't.
    The p waves are also getting stronger,i'm progressing much faster with those series of sessions then with 1 every 2 days.
    It's like i'm back in the beginning of the previous session with very tiny progress and in the series i'm within minutes to the point i stopped the day before and have more and more intense sessions that way.
    Those huge leaps i guess are picked up in my brain wanting more of these feelings.
    I have no pain or discomford doing those series so that should be ok.
    I've only started with the series of sessions and it's taking me to new levels very fast this way.
    So for people who don't seem to progress and don't feel pain after a session could try this way.
    Even now when typing this my body wants to go again,i already now this is gonna be some session tonight.
  • This sounds like a good thread for me too if I may join? Got my first aneros today (helix) and just had a 3 hour session! Didn't quite work but was interesting and could see the potential.

    - Main thing is that I'm worried I plant it in too deep? Because in videos I see of others using it when they contract the device shifts quite a bit but with me it seems to be only shifting about 1cm, if that. With feet flat on my back I was raising my buttocks to get it in as deep as possible.

    - The bit that goes between the testicles and anus, not sure if that was hitting the right spot. Hardly felt it.

    - I did nearly set off a chain of p waves I think while in the standard side position but had to really concentrate, nearly got there but it just passed. I think the nearest moments came from when I contracted in and held it there with force, thought this was the wrong thing to do? (says you're supposed to pull in, fully relax and repeat) but
    the method I used is also mentioned above and linked with the chain reaction so think I'll keep trying with that.

    - In videos, the users penis is always rock solid but mine kept losing erection. I usually have no trouble at all with maintaining erections but not while doing this.

    - Kept getting paranoid about lack of movement being caused by a lack of lube every hour or so, took it out about 3 times, washed and lubed again.

    - Is it a bad idea to try and sleep with this in? tempted to try it but not if it's possible to get into a position during sleep that destroys my anus :)

    Don't worry about you penis not being hard, although in my video ( search xtube ' goldenboyuk aneros') my penis is hard, my most intence orgasms have come when soft,
    These are dry orgasms and feel amazing but they do not originate from your penins in fact it's much better to focus your attention completely away from your penis.

    kenman2626, don't worry about and try to simulate what others necessarily experience, as your journey, like everyone's, will be unique. Relax and let the Aneros "ride" where it wants to in your sphincter. Don't try to "plant" it at any particular depth. When you get to the point of having involuntary contractions it will pull in on its own to produce the building orgasmic sensations, but the rewiring process can take months. Merely enjoy what you feel along the way and the good stuff will come.
  • On my 1st day I tried it 3 times over about 5 hours I think. Then on second day (today) I tried it again in morning and ever since I've been quite sore, think I've over done it? It's now past midnight and I can't bear the thought of trying again as the 'feeling' I get is embedded in my brain. It's not painful just a matter of discomfort, think I need to leave it a few days. I think part of the problem is that I found out if things are not going to plan you can just really tense your muscles and masturbate normally and still get quite an intense orgasm and quickly. Maybe I 'probed' the Gspot too hard which is causing this discomfort?

    Also is it normal that it causes discomfort pulling it out? Really have to concentrate and pull it out really slowly, takes about a minute. Also, it's normal that more or less straight away you need to use the toilet afterwards right? :S

    valliant, the feeling you described in the tip of the penis like you're about to come but can't quite is exactly what I feel, although in some sessions, it washes over into a full blown just like I'm ejaculating feeling, so vividly I look to see if semen's come out, but I'm completely dry. Very good description of the prostate orgasmic sensation.

    You are definitely overdoing it. There should be no pain or discomfort. Wait how ever long it takes until you anus and prostate to feel well again before trying another session. You are just starting your Aneros journey. And these are typical experiences of new users. Eventually you will get to a point where there is no discomfort inserting it, with it inserted, or removing it. This is all a matter of learning how to relax those anal muscles. And that can take a number of sessions depending on the guy to figure this out. Keep practicing, but only as your body allows. If you feel sore after a session, wait till that heals and goes away before trying again.

  • Was able to try again today, relaxed for about a hour without really feeling anything then started to masturbate for like 5 seconds every 5mins to try and bring myself closer. There was roughly a full 2 minutes where something was building with no hands but as nice as it was it was anti climatic. Soon gave in and kept masturbating more often, had normal ejaculation.

    Thinking it's maybe better to try and force myself not to touch myself at all. If I'm not feeling anything it's probably better to just give up and masturbate later on WITHOUT the aneros inserted. Then try again another day.
  • Here's what I have found to work consistently for me:
    1. Warm both the Aneros and lube (I use Probe, a water-soluble, plant-based lube) in a sink of warm water for about 10 minutes
    2. Insert about 5 cc of lube in the rectum with a medicine syringe
    3. Use a light coating of Vaseline around the inside of your anal sphincter
    4. Coat the Aneros with a light coating of Alboline (a paraffin, mineral oil make up remover that's also a good sexual lubricant). You could also use Coconut Oil, sold in a solidified form at Wal-Mart. Side bonus: It smells pleasant, melts at body temp and is actually used as a natural remedy for irritable bowel syndrome (taken orally) so it seems well tolerated and even maybe a bit healthful for the rectum.
    5. Insert the Aneros slowly and take deep, relaxing breaths
    6. Begin with light nipple stimulation and don't focus on manually contracting your anal sphincter. I use some of the Alboline on my nipples to prevent chapping and make them slick.
    7. Enjoy the journey and don't worry about a destination. Approach this more as a meditative practice instead of a sexual act and you'll feel more free to just enjoy the sensations and learn to experience new feelings.
    8. I get fantastic results from multiple sessions in a day. Go for 45-minutes. Take a break for an hour or two then try again. It also helps sometimes to refrain from ejaculating for a couple days to ramp up the horniness as well as have the prostate full of fluid, which makes it more sensitive.
    9. I will occasionally take a Levitra if I really want to ramp things up, as there is a much greater sensitivity when I'm rock hard, although this is not really necessary. It's more of a variation experiment for me and I go from soft to hard without the aids and it can be very pleasurable either way.
