Things I have learned about myself
  • I am on the starter MGX. Been using for about three months now. Let me say this, I will never prefer masturbation proper as sexual release again. No comparison. That being said, here are some things I have learned through my sessions and experience.

    1. Do session at night or in the early morning on a light or empty stomach. It seems to work similar to light yoga? I get more acute sensual sensations when there is no food blocking the circulation.

    2. Exercise (weights and cardio) dovetails beautiful with this. Most of my mini-O's are attained after I have exercised.

    3. Moderate nipple play! I love it. However, that gets me to the next point.

    4. Rest period. I find it best to maybe do two times a week, with about 2 or 3 days rest in between. Like some of the experts on this said, the p-gland needs a rest and you really just won't get the freshest arousal if you keep throttling. There is a danger of me just rocking my hips and going for the hands-free ejaculation (which happened today!) when I am not rested enough, since my nipples and p-pland have not had enough time to recover.

    5. Staying away from external imagery like video and pictures? I find it distracting while they may be good for the pre-session.

    I've wondered what the effect exercise would have in regards to an aneros session. I've been meaning to get back to the gym but have not been able to find the time. Ah yet another good reason for me to get back into the gym!

    While you were training yourself to have a HFO did you withhold from masturbation ending with ejaculation?

    While I have not found that there is a particular time of day/night that is better for me for Aneros sessions. Like yourself I've also found that typically my body seems to cue me for Aneros sessions via butt buzz and prostate tingles when I have an empty or lightly filled stomach.

    5. Staying away from external imagery like video and pictures? I find it distracting while they may be good for the pre-session.

    I find this to just be a personal preference. If you are able to make yourself highly aroused without porn, then great. Otherwise use whatever works for you.
