Other anal play while using Aneros

Am I doing myself a disservice by using other anal toys in my non-aneros, ejaculatory sessions? I'd like to experiment with dildos and anal beads but wasn't sure if mixing prostate and normal ejaculation should be avoided while trying to hone in to the Aneros sensations?

Sounds like a great approach !!! A variety of experimental approaches to anal play makes for joy, fun and some observations that you can 'safely' import to your more serious Aneros endeavors.

I finally homed in on Eupho as my serious 'Aneros journey' tool for dry orgasm. My sessions might start with another tool and produce a dry-O; butt, when dame Eupho slides in, the bod knows the rough play is over with and we're headed for serious body and brain pleasuring. I never use Eupho for any other purpose.

Months ago I adopted different tools for the more 'mundane' intentions like foreplay, intercourse, therapeutic massage, experimentation, masturbatory edging or just a quick wank. I think that helped keep my Aneros journey on track while allowing me to catch up with some of the anal fun I'd been missing.

Have a great Journey Mogal, enjoy all the toys that look safe and sanitary. Lube well and post your progress here.

Building some horniness before your journey sessions will make arousal easier and help with your sessions. You may find that as you increasingly exploit dry orgasm and 'rewire' you'll 'flip' and regular ejaculation will actually spike your craving for a dry orgasm. A year ago I needed several days of semen build-up before an Aneros session. Now, my normal refractory period rules and I'm gtg for a dry-O hours after intercourse. If anything, the Aneros journey has made me more active with intercourse and masturbation. hth ... rook

    Hello Rook, :)

Even though I've yet to achieve super-O's, you've described a pattern that I'm starting to observe in myself. I do practice ejaculation abstinence to build arousal. But I'm finding that it only takes me so far, then I seem to go into an arousal lull. And that having an ejaculatory orgasm seems to often, but not always, take me out of this. And anywhere from the same day to the very next day my arousal is back and my prostate is crying for an Aneros session.

During the journey/before the "wide awakening," I believe it's important to have a trad O at least every so often to remind the body what orgasm feels like, in the most familiar terms possible.

To the original post, I believe that "anything that helps you explore and expand your sexuality/intimate knowledge of yourself is GOOD."
