Should aneros be centered when inserted?

Newbie here. I got the aneros a couple months ago and probably tried it about 7 or 8 times. I never really to much of any feelings from it although one time I thought I might have felt some involuntaries (some very quick contractions - didn't last long).

Anyway, my question: When I insert the initial section of my MXG, my anus tends to suck it in the rest of the way. I know that's normal, but it tends to suck it in so that the tab is extremely off centre to the front of my body.

Is this the natural position of my prostate, or should I manually move it so that the aneros is relatively center to my body? Is it possible that my prostate isn't located directly in the center, but to the left a bit?

I've tried using my finger to locate my prostate, but I can't seem to find the "walnut" everyone's talking about.

I'm 24 by the way, so I hope it doesn't have anything to do with a malfunctioning prostate!
  • nathan24,

I've had the same problem, whenever i try to get relaxed with extended use of the aneros, it tends to turn to either side and several times completly turned around in my rectum...this is quiet frustrating and confusing. Between trying to enjoy the feelings and correcting the position of the aneros i never really get to relax completly and shove myself into the feelings of utopia. Any ideas of problem correction would be helpful.

Try using a small piece of toilet paper wrapped around the tab with a small elastic, this will help reduce slippage caused by lube and also reduce irritation and help with the centering issue.
