Unfortunately there are some that think we're a bunch of misfits and perverts for exploring the depths of our sexuality. In particular, the benefits offered by the aneros and the ability to have not only multiple orgasms but those focused on the prostate. As a result I thought it might be interesting to see the occupations of those represented here.

Engineering. Electrical. To me, there are only 10 kinds of people - those who believe and those who don't.

It's too bad that entertainment isn't also listed. At this point I would assume that it would be included under other?

Sorry guys, the polls here only offer a certain number of options. We could have covered many more but had to lump a lot under other. Might a white collar/blue collar poll be of interest?

I used to identify with this song, quite literally.

I am a lineman for the county....

and I drive the main road.

Searchin' in the sun for another overload.....

Now, I live in a cube farm and I'm about 10 to 20 months out from a major career change. I don't care if I'm stocking shelfs in a grocery store.... I won't be climbing towers in all kinds of weather, I won't be going to every hurricane ravaged area and rebuilding the infrastructure... and I won't be sitting in a cube in front of a spreadsheet working numbers and stats for some upcoming briefing or project. I can't wait.

Government service... I won't delve deeper than that...

They look down on "homosexuality" where I work (that's a hint).

Second, the idea that professionalism means lack of sexuality is quite dated and needs some reform. While it's true that one's sex life need stay out of the work place, it does not mean that a professional must also be asexual.

This is why we live in a society where teachers get fired for having facebook profiles with bikini-clad pictures, etc. We seem to believe that sexuality leads to the potential for blackmail and loss of professional credibility. Instead, I argue that the potential for blackmail exists because people are forced by society to keep their sexuality very private.

I humbly pray for the day that sexuality can be openly discussed in a society of consenting adults without fear of judgment, reprisal, or condemnation. Of course, it's never going to happen. Sexuality is the most beautiful thing we have as mortal beings. Why shut it out? It's certainly prettier and less corrupting than violence, and we plaster that all over everything.
