Which is Better

:confused:Which contractions are better for getting closer to the Big O
Are volentary or involentary better, I'm having trouble getting the involentaries going , at least I think so, I do the cleaning , lubricating , breathing , contractions , light med etc, hold and all that , I even listen to Alana, who by the way is great. I get some flutters and throbbing but my little buddies (helix or his big brother progasm )but don't seem to be moving . I've read here that movement might be so small you can't feel it, but I wish I could feel it as I think once I actually feel it move on its own it would excite me even more sexually, as if I was getting screwed real good ,lol.So any way how much movement should there be , by the way if it makes any difference I have strong toned anal and abdominals muscles, i've been doing keggles and pc muscle contractions for months and excercise regularly, I even do anerosless contractions and squeezes while driving or sitting at my desk, my wife even commented that my ass holds on to things like a death grip .By the way when doing these anerosless excersises I initially get whole body shivers / shakes, then a nice warm anal feeling , sometimes anal fluttering and throbbing. When doing my volentarys with one of my little buddies inside I can move them in and out almost an inch or so - feels sooo nice:D. Well what I guess I'm asking is should I keep trying to get the involentaries or keep doing the volentaries to get closer to the ultimate prize.
    Thanks Much

    poppie,

IMHO, you may be asking the wrong question here. Asking if involuntary contractions are better than voluntary contractions is akin to asking are apples better than oranges? They are both contractions which cause Aneros movement, the movement instigates the massage action, the massage action begins a sensory stimulus loop inciting further contractions and thus continues. You have already felt the subtle sensations this action entails when you said "I get some flutters and throbbing..." this is a good sign your massager is engaging your prostate.

From your description you are probably in good physical shape, a definite asset, but you may be caught up in some traditional 'manthink' mythology, namely "stronger is better", "bigger is better", "faster is better", "deeper is better" etc. etc. Being able to move your Aneros an inch, while impressive, is not necessary. Can you imagine closing one eye and using your index finger to push into your eyeball 1 inch...Ouch. Well the tip of your Aneros is analogous to the tip of your finger and your prostrate is analogous to your eyeball. It has often been said, when massaging the prostate, one should use no more pressure than you would to rub your eye. I tend to agree with that statement.

As such, you should probably think of movement in terms of millimeters rather than centimeters. I like to say we are seducing our prostates into generating pleasure not trying to hammer them into submission. Gentle caresses are more likely to entice your prostate to become more excited than a vigorous poking will. You may be interested in viewing the user Poll Aneros, How far does it move? to see what your fellow members have to say.

Now getting to your final question, Yes you want to keep performing the voluntary contractions but always with the awareness and acceptance of involuntary contractions stepping in and taking over from time to time. When involuntaries kick in, relax, allow them to power the movement, when they abate you can continue with voluntary contractions again. As you become more experienced you will probably find the involuntaries kicking in more frequently and for increasing periods of time, just ride them along with the waves of pleasure they usually generate.

    Rumel,
Thanks for reply , I guess what I should have asked was , which is the best method to get the involuntary contractions started ? And from which contractions do you get the better results ? the voluntary or the involuntary.Basically what I'm asking ,do you need to get the involuntarys going before you can get to the super o. make sense ? I think if you can be
totally relaxed , lie back and let the involentary contractions do their thing you should be able to progress easier ?

    Hey me again,
I guess it does sound funny , I also lol when I read reply from Mog.When I said I can move it about an inch , that was in/out total

    Hi poppie,

Voluntary contractions seem to figure in Aneros initial training so as to teach the bits down there what needs to be done. But eventually involuntaries will take over and produce very much more fun in so doing.

But as one progresses down the trail to the sublime full-bodied quiescent MMOs everything is best allowed to happen without your intervention. The very best orgasms will occur when you behave entirely passively.

    Less is More!
