Are you glad you took the step?
  • Do you regret making the decision to use these things for the first time? I have a lot of questions that need answering before I make the decision to buy an aneros. This is probably the first and foremost question that needs answering. Whatever option you choose, please post your reasons.
  • (shit!...why do I have to be the first one to respond to this...?)

Do I regret my initial ignorance of what to expect from these devices and the related frustration I allowed to develop? yes....but in retrospect, it forced me to grow.

Do I regret experiencing sensations I've never felt before and the increasing pleasure I receive each time I use the product, or exploring and embracing areas of my body which were once shunned, or expanding and maturing mentally and spiritually, or enveloping myself in the camaraderie on this forum? NOOOOOooooo!

It's only natural to be doubtful. But, if you approach this experience without any preconceived expectations and focus only upon the pleasurable sensations happening in the moment, you will find yourself in the correct mindset. And it's in this environment that the body is able to generate increasing pleasure for you. It may take many months to experience the more intense events, but during that time, if you appreciate every sensation (no matter how small), it's not a long wait.

For the record, I have not experienced the 'Super-O'. I'm an official 'grinder' and my path on the journey has not been without rocks and pot holes. There were times when I seriously considered throwing in the towel. But, thanks to the support and understanding of many members on this forum, I persevered and the rewards have been surprising. Each session seems to get better and I relish in the subtle sensations emanating from my lower abdomen.

Keep reading. I predict the responses from the other members will be very motivational.

  • Nope, not for one second.
It has been a journey full of surprises, wouldn't have missed it for quids!
It's not easy, but I've got a feeling it's gonna be worth it. I'm not in the super O category, barely any O, but it's got me hooked on where this will lead, very interesting.
What have you got to loose? Just don't let yer Mum catch ya!

In the beginning I was dissapointed. As I used it more, I started to feel it little by little. Until one night I kept it in for a while and then some friends came over. Having it in, I forgot about it. I moved around alot during that time. When they left I went to sit down and all of sudden it hit me. I started having the most intense O's imaginable. I was zoned for about an hour off and on. Man, I became a believer then. I since became very good at getting super O's. This toy is definitely the best thing a guy could have.

I think you are going to find most respondents to this Poll are going to vote “Nope”. It is a bit like “…preaching to the choir…” because you are polling a rather select portion of the male population, who are already deeply interested in pursuing this wonderful experience. I seriously doubt you are going to get very many men to say they “...regret” experiencing enhanced orgasmic ability, especially at this site.

This seems like a loaded question to me. Both your thread in the forum and this poll appear to indicate that you have issues with "taking the step". Frankly, I don't think it will matter to you how many people vote "nope" in this poll (which strangely is an affirmation vote for the Aneros!). The way that a question is worded can often tell you what the questioner is really after. In this case, it's pretty clear that you're looking for people to talk you out of trying the Aneros.

For some reason you're experiencing trepidation about this kind of personal exploration. I'm not minimizing this, to the contrary, I think that you should look at it carefully. But instead of searching for the regret of users who would support you're inclination to avoid this...why not look to the feelings that you're having that are motivating the process that you're going through.

    Just an idea.

And yes, the personal growth and self awareness that I've experienced as a result of my use of the Aneros have changed my life in the most positive of ways imaginable.

  • accidentally clicked yep, when i wanted no so there are still zero people who regret the decision
  • Awesome responses. Thanks so much.

Yeah, I'll agree, this very much comes across as a loaded question. And I did consider that my responses are all going to be very biased. But that's ok; I figure if I phrase it in a manner that that's negative and if this is worth my time - then any 'truth' from the explainations provided, will hold up/shine through a critical investigation.

Yeah, so I'm not just jumping into this. Maybe it's because I care too much.

On second thought I doubt that the Aneros will work for you.

One element that I consider essential to a good experience is a belief that it will work. As skeptical as you appear to be I think you would go into it with the idea that it was not going to work and that idea would block any subtle feelings.

You would also probably start off "trying" very hard to experience something and that is completely counter-productive to the Aneros experience.

Under the circumstances I think you would be better off looking elsewhere until you find something that you firmly believe will be successful.

I have found that I experience what I expect in life. If I expect failure I will subconsciously sabotage my efforts and assure failure. If I have hope of a good outcome I generally will experience success.

Sorry to say it, but I think you are wasting your time here.
  • helixbill, in all due respect, I'm going to have to disagree with you. I have a feeling it's going to blow me away. I'm not going into this "trying", because I know that's the wrong approach. I recognize the the difference between trying and simply allowing. If I enjoy it, then I enjoy it and it becomes part of my life. If I don't, then I don't and I move on from this.

I'm new here and and to Aneros. Bought a Helix and we've used it three times. Until two weeks ago I had ignored the Aneros as a sort of overpriced butt plug.

In February my wife started using a g-spot vibe and we then bought me a p-spot vibe. Was unable to retain it when repositioning during intercourse so went hunting for something that would stay in and wouldn't hurt when my wife tried to help push it back in. A Google search for something that wouldn't eject itself led me to Aneros.

So far it's reduced refractory time and has supported a couple of 'final' dry climaxs that I would have missed without it. It's done all I asked. The whole Super-O business will be a new experience. Will look at the new couples gear after I master the Helix.

The prep time before inserting the Helix works OK for me since I medicate with Trimix before sex.

    Thanks Aneros!

I would not regret it for one second. I've had my helix for over 2 years now, and it took me alittle while to get my first super-O but after that I was hooked. I've found that the aneros can trigger more than one type of orgasm. Put them together and your in paradise.

Yes and no. The pleasure is unbelievable. However, the addictive nature of the toy is sometimes unbearable, and can even interfere with my daily life.
  • Responded too quickly. I love my Helix. I love Aneros. Sorry for being too quick on the trigger.

Am I ever! Having come from a very conservative background, I never felt I could share my experiences masturbating. My wife and I have had a very routine and modest sex life --- up until heart surgery last year when our mutual sexual sharing came to a halt. With my purchase of an MGX and Helix, everything has changed. WOW! Has it ever changed! Though still new with prostate massage and anal stimulation, my wife and I have covered a huge amount of ground in just the last few weeks. Yesterday, I ordered one of the new Ice Progasms --- for use during very special times down the road. Amidst all the negative stuff going on in the world, it has been a joyous experience to focus on Aneros --- and to be able to share it!

    Non, je ne regrette rien!

As a long time prostate massager, I was thrilled to find Aneros! I was taken aback by the time it took to adapt to its unique operation, butt I persevered and have never regretted my initial MGX or later models added. Eupho fabulous!!!!

Unfortunately some may have blockages that inhibit success with Aneros, but with diligence almost any of these can be worked around IMHO.

chronos86, it is good to remember that the general consensus is that your Aneros over time will be seen as "training wheels" and you will master the techniques without needing the Aneros in as your fully rewire!

    all the best to all
