Kundalini
  • I am new to the Aneros.... I had just received mine today. But after reading through this forum, most people's experiences were sounding quite familiar.

I have been into meditating and studying hindu philosophy since my late teens. One late evening I was having the most intense concentrated meditation I've ever had. My breathing became shallow and fast on its own, and random muscles in my body started to twitch. Soon after I felt a wave of tingly energy go from my toes to my head... it felt like every atom in my being was being individually permeated. And then I experienced a hot energy shoot from the base of my spine into my head... my eyes were closed but it felt like my consciousness had grown to encompass an area many times larger. I can not describe the the bliss that rocked through me in a way that can be intellectually understood... Only that it was like a physical, mental, spirtual orgasm times a billion. After an extremely long minute feeling this, I knew I could not withstand that much energy much longer, and I returned my consciousness to a normal state. I couldn't help but cry afterwards after experiencing such a beautiful thing. I was definitely in an afterglow for an entire week afterwards, just feeling very tranquil and very cosmic.. And funny thing was... If I contracted my sphincter, I would get a quit shot of that same blissful energy run through my body.

My first use of the Aneros had some slight waves... I could definitely feel that energy starting to build up... and it was all too familiar. Honestly I don't think I could feel it touching my prostate. Is that normal? I could feel it push up against my perineum which after awhile I confused that sensation with something more internal.

I guess I'd like to see if anybody has tried the meditation/breathing/contraction exercise without having this device in them, and be able to experience a super-o... which sounds like what in hinduism is called kundalini. :)

    Auztin,

Welcome! I am indeed familiar with the experience that you're referring to...I think it's known as awakening the kundalini if I'm not mistaken. I myself have something akin to this fairly regularly without the use of the Aneros, using mental focus, rhythmic breathing and anal contractions alone. I must admit though that these unassisted sessions of mine are not as intense as the one that you related (at least not yet). I posted about this originally in my Keys to the Backdoor Revisited thread (above, see Is the Aneros the Only Way to Fly). In addition to myself there have been other forum contributors who have written about this as well. See comments from thread author ASH on page 2. I've encouraged Aneros users to practice without the Aneros as a way of honing their mental focus and as an alternate route of exploration. Although I've had no background in Kundalini yoga or tantric practices I have been a practicioner of both TM and self hypnosis which I have found very helpful in this pursuit.

Please keeps us apprised of your progress with the Aneros and with your unassisted techniques.

    Regards,

    B Mayfield
  • Hey, you guys best be careful with that Kundalini shit. I've read quite a bit about it on the net as I'm looking for a form of yoga to get into. I guess some people have gone nuts from awakening that shit. I don't understand it. I've read about it a lot and can't find one good thing about it. Maybee I'm just looking in the wrong places. My wife got me upset today. I told her she better watch out, caus I'll awake the Kundalini, LOL. Sounds quite intriguing, but quite phucking dangerous if you as me, unless your guided by an experienced Guru. Which in Massachusetts, is probably non-existant.

    Hi,

I,m just have to tell you to be very careful about practicing meditation and reaching the state of Kundalini without preparation. These practices should not be done in ignorance and definetely not just for fun. The impact of this practice can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. I can not stress enough how dangerous it can be. I don't know if you will read this but if you do, I just want you to be careful. I talk from experience, if you let this practice get too serious you could develop a real problem. Sorry to talk so harshly about this but I really feel you should know; and just to answer your question, yes I know exactly what you felt, it is a beautiful thing but you have to educate yourself first. Then prepare yourself mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I know that this might sound like a load of crap to some people but I really am serious.

P.S. If you read this and would like to talk more on it I'll keep my eye on these forums..... TAKE CARE!
