Legal Bud
  • I have some news to share. I recently tried K2, a synthetic legal high. K2 is not a synthetic form of THC, rather it is designed to interact with your cannaboid receptors in a way that mimics the effects of THC.

When it comes to recreational potential generally, I would say that weed beats K2 hands down. However, I have found it much more effective than weed in conjunction with an Aneros session. Did I mention that k2 is completely legal? This means that in addition to its Aneros-synergistic potential, it also beats pot when it comes to availability--it is marketed openly and can be purchased in multiple different forms. K2 incense seems especially well-suited to long sessions.

My results have been very promising. A word of caution, though: you will crash harder with K2 than with weed, and can be fuzzy-headed for some time even after your crash is over. Also, a little bit goes a long way. Thus I recommend that you experiment conservatively, and only on days where you don't have to work the following morning (at least until you've got a good handle on it).

    La petite mort,

I believe everyone has the right to determine what they put into their body, including Aneros massagers.
The brand name drug K2 has been made illegal in several states and several other states are considering bans as well.

The little reading I have done on this drug reveals that not much is known about this latest drug fad offering. There is suspicion some product offerings may be tainted with some unknown toxic chemicals as the reported effects in emergency rooms do not coincide with the physiological effects of cannabis intoxication.

This product is produced in China and Korea so there may be little, if any, safety/quality control oversight. Additionally, the product is sold as herbal incense and sometimes listed as "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION". The active ingredient (JWH-018) is a synthetic compound producing effects similar to THC.

caveat emptor - "Let the buyer beware."

    seconded.

  • Jeeze. Guys, really. Anyone who sucks unknown, untested, unproven CHEMICALS (they spray this shit with chemicals from fucking China) into their lungs has simply got to be ABSOLUTELY NUTS!

Get a grip. Are we so starved for "highs" that we'll risk our physical health to get them? Really?

Please. Use your head. Sorry LPM, I'm gonna vote no to this one.

Why not just use weed. Exceptional safety record, no deaths from overdose, just use it in reasonable ways and there should be no problem.
  • Upon further research, I agree that there may be unknown risks in using it, and that it is most likely more dangerous than pot. I retract my "endorsement."

You could also turn it around and question if the status of legality(at least concerning mj)is always determined by the 'healthiness' of the product, i.e. is mj really so bad you'd rather take toxic chemicals just because it's legal.
See the way I look at something is not first to ask if something is legal before I wonder if it's detrimental to my health. My first question always is: Could this be dangerous??!!! Similarly if it was only legal to cross the road with your eyes closed, I'd rather break the law.

I have experimented with jwh 018 a lot, it was synthesized by a Dr. in NC back in the early to mid 90's. I know a bunch of folks that have used it and all it's relatives...there's many flavors. I get an all natural blend from someone I know who makes it up with things like marshmallow, damiana & blue lotus... things that are perfectly safe to consume.
I find that it almost goes directly to my prostate when I smoke it... immediately it starts humming and buzzing, which for some reason I've had a tough time over the last couple years getting the aneros going in the traditional methods, breathing, relaxing and getting involuntaries started.
Only in the last 5 months I've added the legal bud to the mix, and I don't even need the aneros in sometimes I can get my prostate pumping and pulsing, with the aneros... it's amazing. But I still can't get to a super O, but have come close...I really think I need a Helix... the old SGX and MGX just aren't connecting like they used to.
I've also found some other ways to enhance the aneros experience as well with a cockring and an ace bandage...(I'll post that in it's own post).
Obviously, my preference is to smoke the herb that comes from mother earth, it lasts longer, tastes better and is more enjoyable if you decide to get "giraffe pussy" high... Jwh-018 you do a little too much you will have an unpleasant experience really quick... been there done that. I agree with the sentiments and views in this thread... however jwh is pretty safe, works very well and has a clean record when it comes to toxicology / health issues / side effects. If you decide to try it... or that's your thing (using the aneros in conjunction with a substance) don't get it in the pure form, you will OD... if you have any questions... ask away.
I'm now trying to re-connect back with it... naturally. I'm laying off for a while...

D_fault, I'd just reinforce quickly that you DO want to upgrade from those base models. I tried to rediscover my MGX recently, and got an "old school" kick out of it for a couple days, but then quickly became reminded just how *limited* it is compared to the Eupho or Helix, which both seem to move about much more freely.

Cool... thanks for the recommendation... I've noticed that every thread I start reading that has to do with the subject of the MGX / Classic results in someone telling the person to just get the Eupho... even more the Helix.

I find the Eupho is my lover and my Helix is my fucker. My Helix can get more vigorously intense, my Eupho more exquisitely intense. I tend to learn more from my Eupho, but get blown away more from my Helix. If any of these distinctions help you.

But with the MGX, I find very quickly that I'm just having the same experience over and over. I can come with it - certainly! - but I don't find myself learning from it or surprised by it.

Notably, Aneros is selling both models as a discounted pair, which delighted me recently when I needed to order a second set. (Left my originals in my flat overseas, rather than worry about getting them through customs.)
