One of the milestones is getting that first postive feeling. I've been using mine for several weeks and still looking for that first postitive feeling.

For those of you that were in a similar boat that I'm currently in, could you describe as best you could that first feeling? I'm very curious. Thanks!

Hmmmmm, I guess my first positive feeling was in my thighs, where my muscles would twitch (but feel kind of tingly).

But as you Re-wire, it will get better, just keep going. When you finally reach that first positve feeling (no matter how small) slowly develop it.

Main thing is, let go of expectations, relax and enjoy what comes to you.

    Hi Hoodleehoo,

I remember my ''first" feelings to be centered in my stomach. It almost felt as though it was knotting up. It was that way for a while. I am assuming that it was just my body getting used to things. From there it moved both up and down.

    I hope that helps.

As I recall, my first positive feelings occurred the first time I inserted my MGX and felt it poking my prostate. While I wouldn't classify that first sensation as pleasant (although it wasn't unpleasant either), it was positive in that I knew the massager was touching me in a way that other anal toys I had experienced had not. The pressure induced by the MGX led to an almost scratchy, itchy feeling making me want to take it out at first. This feeling was somewhat akin to a small dust particle that you might sniff of your nose that itches and puts you on the verge of a sneeze, but doesn't actually make you sneeze and you have the urge to blow it out.
As I left the MGX in my rectum, not contracting my anal sphincter muscles, just trying to acclimatize myself to its presence, I sensed (more than I felt) an underlying tingle below the itchy sensation which was occuring due to the Aneros poking me. This almost imperceptable tingle is what I believed to be the feeling I had read about needing to focus upon. That was exactly (in hindsight) what I needed to focus upon and thus my journey had begun. That initial perception was so subtle I could easily have overlooked or otherwise ignored it, with continued practice sessions that tingle became a bit easier to identify, nuture and amplify into a mini-O (after about 6-7 sessions) and later a super-O (about my 16th session).

I hope this description helps you to tune into whatever subtle cues your body sends you, listen to your body as it communicates with your mind. I believe part of the re-wiring process requires that we allow the feelings/sensations generated by our prostate nerves to lead the mind down the path, not having our mind trying to lead the prostate nerves, that kind of coercion is frustrating and ultimately self- defeating.

The sensations that are key to unlocking your back door may differ from mine, but I think the re-wiring process is pretty consistent from user to user.

    Good Vibes to You!

I'm fairly new to the aneros, but not to anal play. I've enjoyed inserting my finger into my anus (as well as other toys) for years now. I haven't achieved any orgasms strictly through aneros use, but I definitely enjoy the feeling of the aneros 'automatically' moving inside me, without me having to touch it. I imagine I'm being fingered by a beautiful woman. It's very erotic.

id have to say my first positive feeling was a new type of arousal. rather than the feeling of something being rubbed pleasantly or something of that nature, i would start to feel a lovely aroused 'glow' not like the usual dopamine rush you might get from watching porn, this was (and still is) a much better, wholesome feeling that eventually i learned to grow and grow, sometimes to the point of super-o.
