Peredise question(s) and something interesting....

OK i just got the peredise through in the post, i got the one that has the two in the pack only (not the set of four). I tried a session with the smallest one of the two (i own all the aneros models but have had no success after years of using them, except maybe recently with the smallest of the lot -the SGX)

    I just had my best session ever! anyways i need to know some things;

    1. in the set of four, is there an even smaller peredise model than the small one you get in the set of two?

In my session i felt really strong build ups to orgasms in my prostate, something I've never had or had very brief, fleeting feelings of with the SGX, this peredise session was 100% better than anything I've tried before/any device. This actually allows me to be GRATEFUL for any feelings i get in session which i couldn't convey to you guys previously, in my past sessions i had many occasions where i felt nothing at all, for the entire session, so how could i be grateful for feeling totally nothing? well now things are a-changing.

    2. The build ups would only really show themselves when i was aroused, which usually means my penis getting erect. Im trying to mentally not associate my penis with prostate stimulation but they are still very connected and seem to relate to the pleasure i feel, even when I'm unaware of my prostate and NOT tensing, i look down and its fit to burst! its huge and stinging with bigness. Is this 'normal', i.e. should i just accept this is the way it is and carry on with focusing on what I'm doing?

The second thing is, i had one REALLY big build up where my prostate felt like it was swelling unbelievably, it was an intense hot feeling in there too and my cock was harder than it has ever been in my entire life (or sessions before) and i felt like i was about to cum, and cum hard (through my prostate NOT my wang, i was aware it was hard as hell but i felt the orgasm 'beginning' inside, in the prostate). Then, poof, feelings went away, session was over. This was lovely, but also... slightly frustrating!

Very happy with the peredise though, seems i was right that i need something smaller than the normal devices out there :-)
  • Congratulations, inhope, on some progress. As we hear on here all the time, patience is of the essence. Little steps are progress. It can be a very slow process.

If you look at the shopping section of this site, there are pictures of all the models. There you can see that the 2 are the larger of the 4. I've had almost all models, and they all served me well, but i now only have the 2 larger, and they are all i need.

Also, on here there is large emphasis on forgetting about your penis at first in order to rewire the brain to experience the prostate, since we have since youth concentrated on our penis. As someone with ED for a rather long time, probably due to year of Diabetes, i envy your erection. However, there is no need to have a stiff cock in order to have prostate orgasms. This is my short answer.

Good luck on continued progress. It is so worth the patience.

Here is mine on the left (though mine never said advanced on the packet) http://c3.soap.com/images/products/p/ahi/ahi-003_1z.jpg

I would say this one above is the far right one in the aneros shop? seems to looks like mine, and the bigger one is the opposite end?

I'm sure i have the smallest one and the largest one of the 4? So the peridise is the only one thats worked for you? other models not so good?

I know penis being hard isn't needed to achieve orgasm. I'm saying that its hard and i can't do a thing about it because of the prostate pleasure.

Here is what i mean in a more detailed manor:

I only feel pleasure in my prostate when my penis starts achieving an erection, I'm not thinking of anything sexual, or my penis, or of being erect but when i contract any device and get prostate stimulation it causes me to get an erection, weather i want it or not. See what i mean? my prostate pleasure causes an erection, when it builds to a full on stiff cock that is when i get my 'almost orgasm' in my prostate, feelings are centred in the prostate and I'm aware of my cock being hard but i still focus on the prostate just fine, but cock wants in on the action! Sometimes i don't notice how hard my cock is as well, but it HAS to be hard for me to feel anything in my prostate, i don't know why and i don't know what i need to do to not have this happen, and nobody on these forums seems to know either.

To my knowledge I've never felt intense orgasmic feelings in my prostate while flaccid in session (out of session i have) if i do feel pleasure/build up in the prostate whilst flaccid my dick then gets hard, i get aroused "....pleasure trumps all..." sounds familiar? from the aneros WIKI. This is what i get, pleasure that gets me stiff, even if I'm not focusing on my wang.

But yes, progress is progress :-)

If you number the sizes 1 to 4, smallest to largest, it looks like your set is 1 and 3, just judging by the roundness of the bulb at the tip and the slope of the sides of the lower part of the bulb tapering towards the shaft.  However, the pair at www.aneros.com/product/peridise/ appears to be 2 and 4, not 1 and 3, and has a black background, whereas your package has a red background.

Maybe you can take measurements of the photos for a more definitive comparison.  The maximum bulb width divided by the total length might provide the clearest indication of exactly which ones you have.

I suspect they manufacture only the set of 4 seen at www.aneros.com/product/peridise-complete-set/ and www.highisland.com/detail.php?categoryid=1&productid=19 , then split them into 1&3 and 2&4 pairs for the more affordable packages.  Which pair you happen to get may well be random.  They'd do better to be more open about it so customers could choose between the two packages.

Have you tried calling them?  They may be willing to send you the 2&4 pair at a reduced price given your heroic persistence, which has become pretty famous here on the forum.  Congratulations!

I may be wrong but I think the smallest one only comes in the 4 piece set. When I get a chance I will measure each of the 4 and put the info on the discussion

If yours does not say advanced on the front then you have the beginners set with the following sizes.

    22mm and 18mm - Beginners set 2pk

    and there is also the

    16mm,20mm - Advanced set 2pk

The Advanced set 4pk contains all of these sizes ranging in order from 16mm,18mm,20mm,22mm

Congrats on making a good step forward. I can't say I've had quite the same type response you've had from the Peridise. I usually use mine (the larger of the two) as a lead-in to the Helix. It makes the Helix part of the session move along easier. I can reach something more like a mini-O with the Peridise, but I usually switch over when I reach that point.

I do find that I get an erection when I start to reach an orgasmic state. It seems that the erection is directly tied to the increasing pleasure in my prostate. I don't get too focused on the erection, though. I just recognize it as another sign that I'm entering a "happy place".

If I were to guess I'd say things will continue to change in a good way for you. Your body's response may not always be quite how it is now, but it will still be very good if not much better. That was my general experience at least.

i guess you didn't notice what i said in my first reply: I've had almost all models, and they all served me well, but i now only have the 2 larger, and they are all i need.

For me, all have been good, but i moved recently. That is a good time to simply one's belongings, and i have just retained the 2 Peridse because that is enough for me. Many i had were just not being used by me anymore so i gave them away hoping they would be used.

    @inhope,
@TekWiz is right. For reasons known only to the Aneros company, they used to market the largest, (22mm), and the third largest, (18mm), Peridise models as the "Basic" or "Beginners" set and the other two as "Advanced".

The manufacturers, (HIH), sell them individually but advise that the largest should be your first one and you should work through them to the smallest. Hence, the most advanced model (by this reasoning), is the smallest.

You might also note that the Peridise models are not marketed as, nor are they intended to be prostate massagers per se. They are intended to be used for the relief of haemorrhoids. The pleasure one experiences from their use seems to be that they stimulate nerves in the entire rectal/anal area. For some users, (me included), they do this extremely well and I can't say that I can feel any focus particularly on my prostate. If I am looking for that, I will use one of the dedicated prostate massagers such as the MGX or Helix.

If you find that, as a byproduct of Peridise use, you manage to get an erection and that pleases you, that is terrific, enjoy!

@pommie I get noticeable prostate pleasure and stimulation from the smallest peridise. I almost orgasmed using it (as well as having more prolonged pleasure) which is much better than any other device I've used in 4 years of trying, that shouldn't be possible should it? Then again I see others saying they super o with the peridise, and all other devices fail to work at all.

Don' t over analyze it. If you get pleasure from it then just lie back and enjoy it. If it works for you that should be enough

And i will keep going with it @didymus even though people are telling me its not a prostate massager (i know it wasn't designed as one, but obviously i need something smaller than the main devices like i always said in my posts here), obviously for me  and others it IS exactly that.

Love how the rules are vague :-)

@inhope, when it is your body the only rules that count are the ones are the ones your body confirms as being right

agreed, i shall ignore the naysayers :-) peridise works (or rather is starting to work) for me (and as I've said, others too)

    awesome.

@inhope, Im glad you are finding some progress.  Aneros does not sell the peridise as prostate massagers though I would have to suspect they do make some contact and massage the prostate very lightly.  Without a P tab to allow the device to rock forward the pressure the peridise applies will be very slight, though this obviously works better for you anyways, so I say just go with it!!!  As you said before It doesnt really matter what they were designed for, as long as they work, thats a good thing.  Keep up the good work, stay relaxed and stay not focusing on your penis/erections and you should do well.  Nothing you havent heard a million times im sure, but I just like to reiterate the important factors lol.
  • inhope you tell of some concern about a hard cock during your session:
"2. The build ups would only really show themselves when i was aroused, which usually means my penis getting erect.
