i wouldnt worry too much about not being able to feel your sweet spot.  Whether it feels good or not the aneros will still work properly.

I've found that I don't really notice the sweet spot until I'm already well into a session and things are starting to take off (i.e. I'm aroused and my body is responding to the Aneros). Only at that point can I shift the p-tab slightly and notice a difference. But just as a rule of thumb, keep yours roughly centered and you'll be on the right track. Don't overthink it or worry too much about it.
