[Vice] Need help, can't reach an orgasm
  • Hi, I need some help. I bought an Aneros Vice a couple of months ago, and I've used it around 25 times since then. The problem is that I can't manage to reach an orgasm with it.

    I read the guide on the Aneros website, I read the wiki, I read another article that explains it, I even watched a video by Brianna Beach where they explain it. I tried everything they suggested, but to no avail.

    This is my basic schema (sessions usually take 30 to 60 minutes):

    - Become aroused
    - Insert the Aneros Vice
    - Just lay like that for 10 minutes, while breathing slowly and deeply
    - Do 30 exercises (breath in deep, contract sphincter muscle, then exhale and relax)
    - Contract the muscle half way, and keep it like that
    (note: this usually starts the involuntary movements, but after 5 minutes these involuntary movements just stop and there's no way to get them back. I tried doing this while breathing slowly and deeply, but that doesn't really work because it takes away my concentration. Breathing quickly has more effect. I did this exercise both while laying on my back (both with my legs up and my legs stretched) and while laying on my side, didn't notice any difference)

    After this basic set of exercises I usually try lots of other things. I tried many things like:
    - Laying on my back with my knees bent, moving my hips up and down. This nearly got me to an orgasm a few times, but I'm not sure if that was because of the anal sensation or because my penis was swinging around and touching my belly every time.
    - Sitting on it and rocking back and forth. Feels nice, but can't get near an orgasm with it.
    - Just walking around with it.
    - Standing bent-over and moving my hips from side to side.
    - Lots of other things that I forgot.

    Also: something that may be important; the P and K tabs DON'T touch my body in the normal position. Even when I completely insert the Vice (by pushing it with my hand) they just touch my bottom slightly. Just to be clear, the slightly longer (and lower positioned) tab is on the perineum side (belly), the shorter (and higher) tab is pointed towards my back. That's correct right? Oh, and this is all without the vibrator. The vibe doesn't really do anything for me. I can put it on the strongest setting for as long as I want, but nothing happens (it does feel ok though).

    I am a bit frustrated. I see that everyone who has the Aneros Vice (on this forum and in the many reviews) reaches amazing orgasms with it, but I just can't manage to pull it off (without using my hands). It has been a really really expensive device for me, so I would really regret it if it doesn't work for me.

    Can anyone please tell me what I have to do, or what I'm doing wrong? Anyone who has a clear set of steps that I have to take to make this work? I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Unfortunately the aneros devices are not plug/play/orgasm.  Two months may have not been enough time or sufficient practice to awaken your prostate.  I suggest giving it more time and maybe a different device as the vice(correct me if im wrong here folks) is not considered a beginner device.  You might want to look into the helix or helix syn or mgx.  Hope that helps.
  • Well, I already have the Vice now. Don't want to buy yet another (expensive) Aneros device. Especially not since this one didn't gave me satisfaction yet.

    I understand it's no plug and play device, but there must be things I'm doing wrong right? I guess certain movements should have more impact than others.

    leon10293847,
    There are three significant issues which seem to be expressed in your posts.

    #1 - You seem to be expecting some particular effect to occur.

    Expectations are session killers, if you begin a session with expectations you are more than likely going to be disappointed. Frustration occurs when expectations go unmet. Drop the expectation of anything happening and instead approach your sessions as an exploration of what your body wishes to express to you on that particular day, at that particular time. Every Anerosession is a unique event in your life's stream of time, enjoy that time for what it is, not get frustrated for what it is not.

    #2 - You seem to have a distinct notion of what constitutes an orgasm.

    Orgasms exist over a wide range of sensations and intensities, this is especially true of Super-O's. If you are thinking your prostate based orgasms should feel the same as traditional penile stimulated ejaculatory orgasms you are going to be disappointed. They are not going to feel the same, they will be different so you need to expand your thinking about what constitutes an orgasm. I recommend you read the thread What's an Orgasm? It just may be that you have been experiencing orgasms but they are just different from what you were expecting.

    #3 - You seem to think there is a logical formula which will "...make this work".

    The truth is there is no logical, rational, step by step formula for effective Aneros usage. Each man needs to experiment with the various techniques offered in the pages of this Forum. Some techniques are at quite a variance to others. It is not so much you are doing something wrong as it is a matter of discovering what is effective for you. The guidelines and instructions are the starting points for your journey of discovery, they can only initiate you into the general direction of usage. It is up to you to adventurously experiment to find what works for you.

    You may find it useful to read the threads Identifying Obstacles to Progress and Identifying Facilitators to Progress.

    @leon10293847,

    I think @rumel has said practically everything that needs to be said, and much better than I could. I would just like to emphasise one point;

    don't begin a session with a pre-determined result in mind. Receiving orgasms through Aneros use is the result of a journey which we users of these magic little devices call "rewiring".

    The rewiring journey usually takes some months. For some, including me, it took the best part of three years. What keeps us going is the fact that most of us experience varying degrees of pleasure during many or most of the sessions we have.

    Just learn to accept that these pleasurable experiences are worthwhile in their own right and look forward to the next session in the hope that you might have more pleasurable experiences. Try not to be frustrated when you have the occasional 'dud' session. That happens to all of us from time to time.

    BTW, whoever suggested you start out with the 'Vice' probably gave you not very good advice. If you can, I would heed the advice given by @ineverknew above.

    Good Luck!
