2 questions that have always bothered me...

    1. When people here say they have been trying for 1 and half years or two years for example, what does that mean exactly does that mean every day? or once a week for 2 years, twice a week for 2 years? whats the rough frequency (as well as length of each session if possible)? if you want to share your meaning please do so in the comments! it will really help me gauge how often it takes for progress to occur.

    2. Sex life/partners. I have a great sex life with a partner as I'm sure many of you do as well here. The thing is i find incorporating the aneros in sex is not good (for me)  i find it stifles orgasms so that i don't actually get any pleasure at all (again i seem to be the only one reporting this anywhere)
My question is actually this: with some many people here stating that masturbating normally can stop/make the rewiring process more difficult or perhaps making progress slim to none, how do you maintain a thorough sex life with using the aneros? is it possible to have both (no not at the sex and using the aneros in the same session at the same time, I'm not asking that question)

this is my experience.  Ive been using for 1.5yrs and usually have a session every three days, sometimes more frequently but depends on privacy that is available since i have young children.  I have never told my wife of the aneros, not that i hide it from her, but she isnt as sexual as I, and feel she wouldnt understand, that being said Ive been close a couple of times lately to telling her about.  we rarely have sex, which has lead me to the aneros, searching for more.  I can see using the aneros along with sex with her, but as far as i am that would only lead to a super T.  Having dry O's or super O's is something I can only achieve solo, though Ive heard of others who can have these while having sex with a partner, maybe it just takes time to get there, I know im not there yet myself.  As far as masturbation and use of the aneros, i have masturbated normally since the beginning.  That being said for a while I hit a plateau and not much was happening, this is when i tried abstinance to see if that would help get things going.  Its hard to say for sure if it helped, but being extremely horny can make your sessions much more enjoyable, thats for sure, though most times if not much happened I would have to end with a traditional orgasm.  So I think its absolutely normal to keep using the aneros and masturbating, I dont feel it is going to hinder your progress unless you masturbate to the point that you cant get horny for a session.  Hope that helps.

    1. For me, I take it to mean the amount of time that has passed since I began my journey. Doesn't matter how many (or few) sessions I have during that time, since even when I don't have inserted sessions I'm still practicing and rewiring further (with 'less sessions, deep breathing exercises, meditation, etc).

    2. Personally, Aneros and Sex aren't that different, and while many have combined the acts, it's just not for me. In terms of timing, it's usually one or the other. If we make love on a particular day, then I withhold having an Aneros session for that day. The opposite doesn't really apply, though I try to abstain as it makes me hypersensitive. However, most (I'd say about 95%) of my sessions are in bed at night when we're both going to sleep, so I don't usually have to worry about sex after an Aneros session. I've also toned down masturbation frequency from several times a week to maybe once or twice a week (at most) as a result of the Aneros.
