Getting slightly frustrated.

So I've been using my helix about once a month for the last year and a half. Recently got a progasm ice which I was sure would do the trick, but I'm able to produce little to no pleasurable sensation at all. It feels as if its not even hitting my prostate. My progasm even falls out when I contract. Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I really enjoy anal stimulation in the first place, and I can't seem to even get a simple p wave. I know this is something you advanced dudes must hate replying to but any advice would be appreciated
  • Hi @76239,

Welcome to the Aneros Forum! You have come to the right place where you can get all sort of answers to your questions on the Aneros and also lots of support.

I am sorry you are having trouble keeping the Progasm Ice inserted. You are a beginner at Anerosing. May I suggest to you that you start doing the Kegel Exercises. They will tone your musculature "down there." Then your anal contractions will be firmer and you will keep the Progasm from falling out.

Also try having Aneros sessions three times a week with your Helix. You will be amazed at your progress with Anerosing. Soon you will be more confident in using Progasm Ice as well.

So the kegel excerise is just repetitiously contracting with rhythmic breathing, correct? Pretty much just working out the PC and anal muscles?
  • @76239 yes contract but try and hold the contraction for as long as possible.
For the moment dont worry about the breathing just let it do its thing.
After a month or two of kegel exercises you should be able to separate your pc muscles from your anal muscles somewhat.  Rythmic breathing is another skill to learn but dont make it too hard on yourself.
    One at a time :)
Maybe you should stick with the helix for the moment. I only had a helix for the first 7 months ish.
The bigger the device the less it moves and the less pleasure (sensation) you will feel. So to begin with start small. Smaller moves more so more sensation is felt.

@76239 - In my humble opinion, practicing way more often than once a month is in order. And also, keep you expectations low, relax, and try and notice any little subtle sensations.
  • I also agree, once a month may not be enough.  Personally i average 3 sessions a week.  I learned/started on the progasm.  It doesnt move as much as the other tools and i think it takes regular practice with it for your body to become adjusted to it being inside you.  Some times it would go in very easy, other times it seemed to refuse to go in LOL.  practice makes perfect.
