Difficulty urinating

I've been using my MGX pretty much every other day for the last week or so and have found that I'm taking longer to urinate during the working day. I have to concentrate more. Is this a sign that I should ease off a bit? At least for a while?

On a side note, I tried the flax/linseed simmering recipe for lube today and used twice as much because of the price - 10ml instead of 5ml of Gun Oil. Very nice. There seemed to be more movement from the Aneros.
  • I used flax early on. I forgot about it 'til you mentioned it. Is nice, but stained yellow badly the towel I put under me.

Aneros use, when done so consistent with the recommendations and suggestions you'll find here, should cause no deleterious effects upon urinary function. Indeed, many users cite exactly the opposite with improved urinary stream and decreased nighttime urination. However, you might try taking a week or so off and see if you observe any difference.

Of course, if applicable in your situation, all men 40 to 50 or over should have regular urologic evaluation to follow up their urinary and prostate health status.

You have probably (in my opinion from your description) just tensed up the pc muscles that control the flow of urine.
It"s natural for a muscle being worked often to fatigue and thus take more take time to relax.
There is likely nothing to worry about but taking a while to recover can never hurt.
  • I have been taking daily for years the herb, Saw Palmetto, which is toted to prevent enlargement of the prostate. I am well over the middle age crisis when it starts to enlarge, and I pee like a 16 year old. (I was jacking off, too, like one until I discovered aneros, and am doing that a little less. Ha! Ha!)

As an active practioner of the Lay Like A Lifeless Rag Doll And Do Nothing technique, I'm a little surprised that even the tiny bit of PC contraction I perform, has caused this. Although, every single contraction, is additional to what I would normally have done so it makes sense. The prospect of a week without use is actually slightly annoying - this is also quite surprising. It seems I've become rather fond my new toy.

When your body is first learning it's natural for it to contract more than is needed, it should eventual tune itself in and there will be less work on unnecessary muscle groups.

If you are having no pain and the only effect is a little extra time to start peeing, then there's nothing to really worry about.

The best prostate health product I have ever found is here:

It's a great product from a truly great supplier. Read about the guy who started it all, Andrew Lessman. Very interesting guy.

I also take his men's health supplements, Co-Q10 and joint supplement.

    Hello again.

It seems that even now, months later, I still have difficulty urinating after an aneros session, and for several day afterwards.  It gets better when I stop aneros use although I have not yet given it enough time to get completely back to normal so do not know if it will.  Urinating doesn't feel as satisfying and the flow is much, much weaker.  I used to be able to 'push' and increase the flow but not now.  I think I will abandon it's use until the new year and hope it sorts itself out as it does appear to be directly related.

I would very much like to hear from anyone else that has encountered this.

My orgasmic sessions don't employ intensive contractions and I think they yield improved urinary response over the long haul.  My bph sessions employ intense contractions (see HIH Prostate instructions) and for two or three hours after those sessions, I sense some Urinary tract constriction.  Then I'm back to peeing like a stallion.

My daily med routine includes a tiny (1.0 mg.) dose of Hytrin, a prescription med.

Hi Rook.  For the last few months I haven't bothered with any contractions during a session at all.  I will google the Hytrin.  Is it possible the MXG is simply a little too large?
  • I have been on herbal supplements and also twice weekely doses of Helix ;) One time a week its solo the other time its at the same time as sex with my wife which is mind blowing.

In two weeks I have noticed improvements in urine flow.

  • @Walnut I am having the same problem, well at least some of the time.
Sometimes my flow is really good other times it is weak and unsatisfying.
When unsatisfying and weak it also has a pulse like the aneros movement to the flow.
When it good it is better than its been for many years.
Think maybe I have a greedy prostate now ;)
I was in hospital yeasterday for a operation on my foot but had all kinds of problems peeing.
I was bursting but could not pee sitting in the bed with a bottle.
If I sat on the toilet then it started but would have to stand to finish It was only a dribble.
When I came home and sat on my own toilet I could feel my PC slowly releasing and the peeing got easier each time I went.
I seem to have developed stage fright over the years but is at its worst in hospital!
Over all aneros has helped with the flow but sometimes the aneros twitch is getting in the way of peeing.
I guess that is the way the penie tinkles:)

Just to reasure you, being put out for an operation will give you urinary retention big time, this is 100% normal. I know this from experience.

I went through spine surgery so imagine how I freaked out waking up and not being able to pee! I was up all night keep on trying until at 4am the put a catheta in me and drained nearly 700ml! after that things woke up.

The drugs shut off your nervous system and it takes time for them to wake up, and fright to that and you are on a fast track to a pole up your japs eye!

    Walnut I am just curious.
Could you please tell if the MGX feels crowed in there?  Has your Urologist told you how large your
prostate is?  If it is very large and
growing you may need a little help other than the MGX.  Saw palmetto was mentioned here and that
should help I take the Nature’s Herbs brand because it doesn’t have the fillers
that prevent absorption.  This will also
help with hair loss.  I also take it with
fenugreek seed to keep up the testosterone in that same brand.  Beta sitosterol will help also and I use
Vitamin Shop band Heart Choice Plant Sterols for a cheap option.  When I clean out for my Syn I use borax in
the water to kill off anything in there but it also helps the prostate.  Last but not least I take NutraBio Zinc
Gluconate pure powder with water first thing in the morning when I get up.  It also helps with bringing the color back to
my hair. I also eat a hand full of raw Brazil nuts every day for the selenium.  I take 5HTP at bedtime for a good night’s
sleep and I eat a plant based diet with no added sugar.

I must be doing something right because the prostate is
shrinking and feels much more sensitive to my Syn .  My doctor had my testosterone level check
using T4 blood work and it is up to a total of a total of 688.  My ED seems to be going away and I have
    better energy levels.

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean when you say crowed.

I'm not sure if supplements will help and I'm reluctant to think it's an age related issue because it started immediately after starting to use the MGX.  I am currently experimenting with nipple play and will be leaving the MGX until the new year at least, so see if things get back to normal.

Crowed would mean that the MGX is a tight fit and maybe you might even feel that something inside is pressing up against it as in an enlarged prostate. When was the last time you had your prostate checked.  BPH isn't always age related and more cases are showing up for youger men.

    Hey isvara
     does your bottle have a
list of other ingredients on it.  The
website does not mention this and if you wouldn’t mind could you put the list
up?  I try to avoid the stearates as they
coat the intestines and prevent absorption.
I don’t like to recommend any product unless it is free of these
fillers and this is why I take what I mention.  The best product is one that is
food thats why I recommend the Brazil nuts.
