Got there, now can't get back

Ten days ago I had my first Super-O. What a weekend it was--five or six sessions, and every time I inserted the Helix or Progasm, I started coming. It was intense.

Since then, though, my sessions have been lackluster. A few mini-Os, but nothing like what I experienced before. Some nice sessions, pleasure waves, relaxation, new experiences, but nothing earth-shaking.

    What happened?

Congrats for the great Super-Os!!! Sounds familiar I had extremely pleasurable Super-Os a couple of weeks ago (I had wonderful sessions about three times a day almost for a week).. after that my sessions have been ok only, nothing special or earth-shaking.. I think your body and mind need some time to recharge.. Just try to enjoy even the slightest pleasurable feelings during this "recharging period".. you also may want to try out a new approach.. maybe a new technique or a new mindset.. remember that all Super-Os are unique and different.. so you may not be able to experience exactly the same kind of Os in the close future.. Don't worry! You'll get back to those Super-Os in no time! :)

    Best,

It took me 8 months to have my first super-O and then 3 more months after that before I was able to have another.  It took about 4 months beyond that before I could get them to come consistently.

It may not go that slow for some, but relax and realize it may not go very fast.

"Paradise lost" seems to be a common experience here. (I've had it myself.) Don't worry. You will regain your mojo eventually.

Tip:  Always look ahead, accept and welcome what moves toward you and sweeps across your soul for it will illuminate your spirit.  To paraphrase Arctic Wolves... Don't lament what you aren't getting.  Doing that will minimize what you already have.  Live in each moment!  Bestow your blessing on the gifts you receive.

Less philosophically, when I move into the orgasmic state my brain and body seem to generate random effects, sometimes minor and sometimes quite significant. Those tip the playing field to a lessor or greater extent and make each orgasm unique.  So unlike penile focused trad-Os, my brain and whole-body orgasms evolve over time.

Moving from meditation into p-wave sensing I speak a brief mantra affirming my acceptance of the forthcoming orgasm(s).  Then avoid 'grading' each new orgasm as better or less so than the one that came before.

Please think of each p-wave and the following sensations not as a 'trial and error' matter nor as a reward.  Instead, think of them as gifts.  Remember each as a sample from life's "Box of Chocolates."

Good to know this isn't unusual or abnormal. Who knows what'll happen during my next session?

    dingus,

"What happened?" Probably nothing consequential, you may want to read Identifying Obstacles to Progress for some possible reasons, but understand there are far more reasons to suffer a "Dud" Anerosession than there are for a successful one. Another of the Aneros paradoxes is simultaneously allowing yourself to "Let Go" while being disciplined to practice your techniques (breathing, contractions, mental focus, etc.)

B Mayfield said " I had one the first time I used it but was not successful again until 3 months or so later. So I guess the real question is how long does is take until one can achieve consistent results from the Aneros? In my own case it was about 9 months. Some take longer, some shorter."

Patience and perseverance are often needed during this journey but the rewards go beyond just better orgasms. If you experienced a Super-O before then you know you can experience one again, it is about you finding the optimum set of circumstances to allow yourself to have this happen again and again.

Yes I think this feeling of "where has it all gone" visits many of us. It used to depress me until it seemed to erupt suddenly a few days later. Now I know it is temporary. Perhaps an attitude of "What will be, will be" is what is required. I like the comment "There are far more reasons for a Dud session than there are for a successful one". Tiredness, anxiety, stress, work, social conflicts, money worries, and fear of failure. This last being mine! Good luck and best wishes for a happy journey. :)>-
