'Do Nothing' vs. Contractions?

Do doubt there would of been a topic similar to this but last night made me wonder.

What's the positives and negatives for either technique? And can 'Do Nothing' lead to a Super-O?

For a while I've been trying to work contractions but it just never seems to work (aside possibly from PC muscles) - no sensations whatsoever. When doing nothing however, everything seems to go into automated control for building sensation. This morning however, I realised a similar thing can occur without the Aneros anyway - albeit isn't pleasurable per se.

The bottom line is "do what works for you". Yes, the super-O can be achieved with just relaxation. Dont feel that you should change your method just because others don't do it or you haven't read about it.

And don't be afraid to experiment once in a while. Things that didn't work earlier may start to work for you as you progress.
  • I make far more progress and experience dozens and dozens of p-waves with the "do nothing" method and letting contractions happen spontaniously, when I concentrate and do manual contractions my p-waves diminish drastically.

Are all Aneros models equal in this aspect, or do people believe different models are better suited to a specific approach?

Walnut - good question. With my Helix, I tend to jut let things happen. With the Eupho, a little PC contraction can move it around to hit the right spot and really get things going. A lttle pressure seems more effective than a lot.

It will be interesting to hear from others.

  • I do both depending on how I feel generally with great success both ways. I used to do the "do nothing" technique in most situations but now I feel I can deeply relax and loosen pretty easily so I will stay still and breathe for 10-15 mins then start contractions. The contractions will then loosen me more and start generating other contractions and it escalates from there. With the helix I will often use gentle sustained contractions and play with it like that (involuntaries will produce some really strong contractions however) while with the progasm I like to use stronger "contract-release" or strong sustained contractions - at points the prograsm gets verrrry mobile and is so nice :D . i treat the tempo similar to the helix though even subtler, the outer ball on the sphincter is awesome
