Is the super-O a controllable state of mind?
  • An Aneros Learning Center indictates, for me anyway, that Aneros can be learned.

    Now is this the case?

I am using Aneros for 2+ years now and have experienced the most wonderful sensations I could not have think on upon using. Also without Aneros I have been capable of producing a pure state of intense bliss, maybe around 10 times total so far. These sessions are seldom and very easy to recognize: they are peaceful, no jerking of muscles, no state of mind where I am 'searching', just a concentrated mind to enjoy what's coming and in which my body feels like the tip of a penis, incredible sensative where only breathing causes inmense pleasure. These states are like dreaming, if you loose focus or start to relativate everything and analyze, you will wake up.

I suppose this question is meant for the more experienced user who has dealt with 'hit 'n miss' towards super-O.

It is said that such a thing can't be misunderstood when it occurs, you'll recognize it easily.

In my conscious mind I know a session, and typically a 'good' session in which you feel satisfied at the 'end' and can't wait to have a next session, which are rare, the pleasure is not focused on getting to the super-O and wanting to orgasm in comparison with a traditional, penile orgasm where one ejaculates. No, I am talking about a session where you know the entire ride is about letting it happen and enjoying whatever may come to you. I know all of this in my conscious mind but often I simply mess up because the sensations distract me.

It's kind of frustrating to know that each session is different. I have had sessions in which I jumpstarted within minutes, and sessions in which it took hours to get to a 'good' level.

So therefore, I am not asking for a routine or a plan to be able to control the path to the super-O, I am asking how to deal with the fact that you must set aside the super-O and take each sensation as it comes. The orgasms so often comes into play and distracts from keeping on building. How do you handle this? Normally, one would say that experience would lead to this learning, but this had not been the case, yet. The always so pleasureable sensations upon a super-O state of mind, which always fade and get exchanged for the pure bliss state, are so tempting to control and get non-relaxed about.

    Thanks

Gorilla in the room with you?The orgasms so often comes into play and distracts from keeping on building. How do you handle this? You need to learn to make friends with your Gorilla. The always so pleasureable sensations upon a super-O state of mind, which always fade and get exchanged for the pure bliss state, are so tempting to control and get non-relaxed about.Don't try to tell your Gorilla what to do, he won't like it and believe it or not, Gorillas are shy creatures, if you try to control the action they may just stop playing, go sulk and pout or leave you in the room all by yourself. Your Gorilla can be a powerful friend to keep you entertained at various times throughout your life, but like any good friend you should NOT try to dictate the terms of the friendship, let it grow and mature freely, remaining playful and undemanding always.

I'm not trying to trivialize your dilemma here, I'm really trying to point out the fact we can't control the energies of the Super-O when we are in the middle of it. You can steer it to a certain extent by 'intention' and you can squelch it with 'mind noise' but it really comes down to allowing your internal body to play while your mind watches and absorbs all the sensations. This is a state of mind one needs to allow, not control. You may take a Gorilla out of the jungle but you can't take the jungle out of your Gorilla.

I totally agree that it's not easy to control the "gorilla". The attempt to control it may result failure. However we're the master of our own body. Don't you agree?

I assume the original poster wanted to get to the "bliss" state without super-O? It's possible. However you've on the path of extreme pleasure to get there. I don't think it's easy to switch to another route, for example, extreme pain. Yep, it's possible to get into the "bliss" state by being whipped. There are many path. Fasting, drugs and hypnosis are easy but not reliable. There are also so many different religious practice as well, daily prayer, overtone singing, mantra, Zazen.

Why don't you experiment and figure out how to get to the "bliss" with Aneros? You may start a new religion. :)

Don't you agree?Yes and No, to a certain extent we are the masters of our bodies in that we influence the direction, speed and goals of the journey via our minds but we never have total control of the vehicle we are driving. The autonomic nervous system controls almost all the vital operating mechanisms of our bodies while our minds are preoccupied with the external world. We rarely think about how our bodies are functioning in such an integrated way to keep us alive, it is all taken for granted until an organ or system starts to malfunction. An orgasm is an event that is generated by the autonomic nervous system and thus you don't have total mastery of it. You can suppress or enhance its expression via your mind but you can't really consciously invoke or control it. The best you can do, consciously, is to establish the fundamental conditions for your body to manifest it for your entertainment and pleasure.
  • I'm a user of over 2 years as well. I was against a wall until 6 months ago when I discovered I have a gluten sensitivity. Once I corrected my diet, my general anxiety lifted, my mind calmed, and the aneros became a something new. It went from me constantly thinking about what I am feeling while having mini-o's, to my mind being able to enjoy what I am feeling while suppressing thoughts or doing light sexual imagination. I'm 6 months in and my mind is getting clearer every day, and my aneros use is better every time. Users on the celiac.com forum often say it takes about a year for many to completely heal the nuerological damage to a point were you feel at peace and free of anxiety without any more thoughts of it. I'm 34 years old by the way.

This could be way off base of course! I'm no doctor and can't give you food advice. If you have any anxiety issues, you may want to research solving those to unlock your super-o.
