Thanks for being here...
  • I have a blog about pegging (strap-on sex). I receive so many messages from men wondering what all the flap is about anal stimulation and women wondering why their men are asking for it.

You Aneros forum members have a combined wealth of knowledge here that is quite valuable. I am just one woman writing about prostate orgasms and anal stimulation, and though I try to inform and enlighten, many times it takes the combined voices of all you men who have first hand experience that you share so freely. Thanks for contributing to this treasure chest of knowledge for those men (and their partners) who have finally begun to explore their asses!

I posted a link to your forum on my website.

    Hello, Ruby.

Thanks for dropping in to our secret club. :)

I enjoy your website. Kudos to you for carrying the flag to increase acceptance and visibility of pegging. Even around here it is not well understood or popular. See the community poll that includes pegging as an option: http://www.aneros.com/forum/f6/what-your-anal-erotic-practices-15670/

    Best Regards,

    Thanks for joining us Ruby!
  • @ten_s_nut - Well as I discovered, and as your poll seems to confirm, there is significant territory to cover between using a dildo and putting it into a strap-on...for both genders. Mostly psychological and emotional with misconceptions galore. Nonetheless, I am happy to see this group of anal enthusiasts - does my heart good!

@The_Bishop - thanks for the welcome!

    Ruby,

Thank you for your interest in the Aneros forum and for the delightful notice and link on your site. It's my mission and that of many of my Forum friends to do some serious damage to the stigma and misconceptions that abound regarding anal and prostate play. It's wonderful to find a like minded lady who is so well informed and willing to share her views on this topic so openly. I would beg to differ with Dave that pegging is unpopular around here....one thread alone on this topic has 150 posts and over 23,000 hits! While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, there is no question that there is a great deal of interest in it. I believe that many men see this as a
logical next step in bringing their experience with the Super O and their desires in relation to anal and prostate stimulation into a couples setting.

    Welcome!

  • ...is much appreciated. Love_is invited me here some time ago, and it took me a while to show up and start reading. The more I read, the more impressed I was at what an amazing body of knowledge about anal stimulation this forum is.

I love that the pegging thread here got 23,000 hits so far! My article "Convincing Her to Try It" has had over 6K hits in 3 months - so the interest is obviously there. While many men are cruising for information - I suspect they may not have the courage to participate here (or any forum talking about anal play for men or pegging) because of the social taboo.

I believe that many men see this as a logical next step in bringing their experience with the Super O and their desires in relation to anal and prostate stimulation into a couples setting. Well said. I have approached this back-asswards, if you will (LOL), and started the pegging before learning all about the prostate, because pegging is my kink. I'm eating up all this knowledge...and will even be using some of it in my classes, I'm sure. Great to be here.

    Best,

    Ruby,

I just have to ask, are you related to the adult actress of the same name?

    Paul;

She's not the porn actress with the similar name.

    Cheers,

    Dave
  • Dave is correct. When I was looking for a pen name - I wanted alliteration and a play on words that could be applied to pegging...plus the available domain, of course. Truth is I grabbed this name as soon as I discovered the domain was available, and only googled it months later...discovering the porn star. I don't think it has hurt my website traffic any...but who knows if they find anything they are interested in there!

    Ruby,

Regarding your classes, do you deal with anal play and anal awareness in general or are you concerned with pegging exclusively? Also is there a strong D & S presence in your approach or is it implicit?
There is no question that bringing the Super O into your discussions would add a great deal of depth to the subject matter. This is really a whole other realm of sensuality and one that you are in a unique position to exploreimage . It's uncharted territory for most men, however we're working hard to change that around here. Great to have you on board!

    Ruby,

It's wonderful to see that there is a female interest in the male multiple orgasm and related topics! Having women educated and interested in it will do much for men in realizing the benefits and cracking us out of our shells (especially us straight guys). I'm discovering that the women I talk to about this subject are fascinated beyond belief and I can say that I would never settle for being with someone who is closed to the idea. That doesn't mean I need a woman who is willing to peg me, but I find it incredibly important to share the knowledge, excitement and sheer pleasure of anal stim with the one I'm with! In fact, open discussions on the subject have led to women realizing that there is much about their own bodies for them to learn and discover...

  • @BF Mayfield - My classes do include anal play and awareness as far as different types of orgasms possible, etc. (I will certainly be speaking with more confidence/authority after reading all the information here.) I advise digital anal play for exploration of the prostate prior to pegging...preferably not on the same night. I tell people to explore and get to know where it feels the best...then try the pegging.
One thing I try hard to emphasize is there there are no implicit kinks in conjunction with pegging. It can be a loving exchange between a very vanilla couple. Porn has always connected D/s, feminization, humiliation and degradation...sometimes even abuse (CBT). That has created a lot of misconceptions about pegging that I am working hard to counter.Pegging can be any way you want it to be.

I teach my classes largely at BDSM clubs. So while I state the above, I do let out my own dominant tendencies with jokes and such. However I do not feel that a man must be submissive to be pegged. He needs to be vulnerable, allow a deep level of intimacy and trust his partner. But that does not inherently make him submissive. There are a lot of discussions about this subject on other boards. There is no denying that the man is being penetrated instead of penetrating and receiving as opposed to giving, but I don't find those qualities inherently submissive. Others do. Likewise, I don't feel a woman must be dominant to peg. I like to forget the labels and do what works, mainly!

@jocco - I hear you. I am running across threads lately about specific techniques for female anal orgasms, too...(along with G-spot and ejaculation info, etc...lol.) Well I am certainly fascinated with male multiple orgasms! My last BF wrote on his profile: "Have Aneros, will travel" and was the first man I've been with who could have multiples. It was totally hot.

Sounds like you have a wonderful approach, encouraging folks to be who they want to be around this, teaching and having some fun yourself along the way! How are these classes structured, is this lecture only?

Ruby, if you need any study subjects...

    :D
  • @BF Mayfield - My classes are lecture only and never include live demonstration. I do strap one on over my jeans and pull a volunteer from the audience to demonstrate positions because people tend to go fuzzy when I describe positions; they seem to need a visual. Everything else is lecture, yes. I have a lot of fun teaching the class and have received great reviews. I have another class scheduled in October in LA, California. Info is on my website. In the works are plans for online lectures/conferences for those who can't make it to my classes. That will happen next year sometime.

@Deckard - I cannot say that is the first time I have had that offer...but it was sweet of you!
