Finally on the right track - Peradise
  • Well after my false start due to some minor health issues, I am now fit and well to start over after having a clean bill of health from my Docs..

As my issues were achy ass related I decided to take things at a more steady pace and start with getting the body fit and in order prior to taking the plunge into a full on prostate massager, so I have opted to go slow with the Peradise beginner kit to get my butt accustomed to things going up there.

I would appreciate some advise on the best practices with this and also any advise for a newbie

Taking things gentle this time, and thanks for everyone who helped put me on the right path from my embarrasing false start!

    sitting on-

as you know i have been warning you that if you have a predisposition to pain from pelvic floor muscular tension, then the peridise, or any aneros product, can seriously aggravate your pain.

so, have fun, but, if you find that your pain increases then you should probably lay off.

it will be a good experiment. if your pain is only from roids, then the peridise might help, if it is from muscular issues it might hurt.

  • Thanks guys, so far so good, I had my first mini dro O from the beginner pack I received today, I find the big one too uch and the smaller one at first non existant then things start to build.

I can really feel it work the keegals, it feels like it is giving ALL the right benefits.

My pelvic pain as entirely gone (for now) it is something that comes on maybe twice a year, adnd Darwin your advise is most heartly taken in and most definately acted upon, it was you that pointed me in the right direction to get medical advise before moving on.

I am sure with time I will be up to speed with all the benefits these tools of the trade have to offer.
  • quick update - not getting much sensation out of either the biggest or the smaller one (I have the pack of two) first time I used it I got the feeling of cumming without doing so, but now I cant even the smallest of contractions.

Wife loves it however as it makes me super hard, so other than a natural Viagra not sure if it is right ofr me and maybe ready to step up already.

CPP all clear by the way and no recent re-occurance.
  • Little update, Ok so different lubes make a whole difference, odd as it may sound but also therapeutic and designed for internal use i might add - anusol HQ (perscription version) gives amazing results everytime, other lubes just dont cut it. I can only guess the creams warming effect makes things slightly more sensitive.

The other bonus to this is that your insides gets some soothing ointment to avoid sore bum syndrome.

    Hi soag,
If the medicated cream eventually gets a bit much, try smearing just the shaft of the Peridise (between the two bulges) with the Anusol and using an un-medicated lube on the knob.

    sittingonagolfball,

Your doctor has probably prescribed this for symptomatic relief and it is obviously having this effect for you...BUT....Please be aware that use of the prescription drug Anusol-HC should not be considered an acceptable regular lubrication. Anusol-HC 2.5% (Hydrocortisone Cream, USP) is a topical corticosteroid with hydrocortisone 2.5% (active ingredient) in a water-washable cream containing the following inactive ingredients: benzyl alcohol, petrolatum, stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, polyoxyl 40 stearate, carbomer 934, sodium lauryl sulfate, edetate disodium, sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH, and purified water. Corticosteroids reduce inflammation and can relieve itching, but their chronic use can cause permanent damage to the skin. They should not be used for more than short periods of a few days to two weeks. Benzyl alcohol is a local anesthetic which numbs the nerves. Those are a lot of chemicals being absorbed by your body and they probably should only be endured until you are back to a healthy rectal state. Yes, it is a soothing ointment but this should not be considered for long term lubrication associated with anal play. Putting your nerves to sleep is quite the opposite of what you want to be doing to maximize your pleasure. IMHO, only the gentlest lubrications should be used for the extended play time common to Anerosessions.

To add to what Rumel said, be advised that hydrocortisone is a steroid that is prescribed for certain medical conditions, in this case to relieve inflammation and itching associates with hemorrhoids. Indiscriminate use of steroids can lead to a variety of different health problems. This product is not intended for use as a personal lubricant.

I have a family member on high dose steriods for a medical issue and know all too well the side effects, now you have pointed this out to me, I fully understand what you are saying, thanks for the good advise.
