aneros tip in wrong place?
  • things are going nicely for me so far, but lately it seems that the tip of my helix or mgx are poking straight up into the base of my penis. I would think the toy should be a bit more forward to hit the prostate better. I am trying the "do nothing" method mostly, so would some contractions put it in a better place, or do I need to go to a Progasm since I see a lot about constant contact? The mgx seems to have a little better pressure, just doesnt move as nicely as the helix at this point.

    Hello Forgeman, :)

things are going nicely for me so far, but lately it seems that the tip of my helix or mgx are poking straight up into the base of my penis.

Is this a discomfort problem that is interfering with your Aneros sessions?

Or is it that you don't feel it is massaging your prostate correctly?

Keep in mind that if you are fairly new to Aneros play, that you have to go through a certain amount re-wiring through practice before you start to realize and experience pleasurable prostate contact. The MGX and Helix do contact and massage your prostate, although in somewhat different ways due to the differences in their design. If you can spare the extra money and really want another model, then a larger one like the Progasm or Maximus is a good choice to have some more variation to experiment with.

My impression is that "where it's pressing" has more to do with my attention than "the reality in there." Much of your challenge might be solved by relaxing your body as much as possible, but focusing your attention quite deliberately.

Or maybe not! I'm just adding those two cents to consider.
  • I've been at this since last dec. No real discomfort, I just feel the toy may be missing the mark. I have felt around below the base my penis and can feel the aneros below the skin. on the other hand should I go smaller and go with the sgx?

A common complaint of new users. Even though it's getting close to a year for you. It took me about a year and half of infrequent and irregular sessions before I started to feel something pleasurable from my prostate. You maybe one of the long term grinders like myself. Keep in mind that regular practice makes a big difference in progressing on the journey.

on the other hand should I go smaller and go with the sgx?

If the MGX doesn't do much for you at the moment. Than I don't suspect a SGX will be any better. As it is just a shorter version of the MGX. I still think you'd be better off adding a larger model to your current MGX and Helix if you are set in purchasing another Aneros prostate massager.

  • Have you tried sitting on it and rocking back and forth? You can determine how much pressure occurs by sitting in a chair, in the bed, on the floor, etc.
The MGX is still my favorite even though I have every model. Sometimes when I have the time available I will start off with the smaller models and progress up to the Progasm.
Every model creates its own sensations.
I've suggested to the owners that they develop a model in which the portion that touches the prostate is a rolling ball. The size of a marble would be ideal!
  • of course just after I wrote my last entry, I had the BEST experience ever with my mgx. All I did differantly was add a small contraction. I dont know if I just had extra crazy invols. or a couple O's, (dont care to put a name to it except WOW). gonna take tonight off to let my muscles rest a bit
  • i mod my mgx perinum tab with some epoxy clay and round it like a shape of marble. Now it feel good on long sessions.
