Weird contraction-like sensations in penis (sans Aneros)
  • Is anyone else getting random contractions or other sensations in their urethra?

I've been getting these weird mild current-like sensations running through my penis for the past few weeks. (In fact I may have had them previous to using the aneros but was unaware?) They occur randomly at any time during the day and often I will get a bunch of them in a row. Each one lasts only a second or two. I am not using my aneros when they happen.
  • Do the sensations feel good? I have commonly experienced increased sensativity and good tingling feelings since I have started using the aneros. You are awakening nerve branches that have not previously been stimulated. Several branches of the pudendal nerve extend from the perineum all the way to your penis. Branches of the prostatic plexus from the pelvic splanchnic nerves make up the cavernous nerves of the penis. This pelvic awakening is part of the fun ride aneros users get to enjoy. At times just with contraction the external sphincter I get very pleasurable sensations that do travel into my penis.

I get these occasionally for no apparent reason, but they are enjoyable. The first time it happened I was 12 years old, a few years before I had started enjoying myself. It happened spontaneously when I had my first taste of sherry, as soon as it touched my tongue. My eyes almost popped out! It still happens occasionally forty odd years later, actually more often in recent years as my sensitivity has increased and I'm enjoying myself more than ever. Just enjoy it.

i am not worried about them. it's more that I've noticed this new and very unique feeling which is occuring with some frequency.

yes, they are good but not in the orgasmic way. i would say that they are more an interesting sensation; it's like wow, what the hell was that? there is a definite awareness of them. but they do come at any time -- which can be both a good and bad thing.

    thanks for the explanation.
  • i posted 2 years ago about this. for period the random contractions disappeared. now they are back and are happening frequently. not sure if i should be concerned or whether it's worth getting checked out by a doctor. is anyone else having similar contractions?

Sounds like dry orgasming to me, but then you say it doesn't feel orgasmic? And you can't control them by doing something distracting(like jogging etc)?

Do they intensify when looking at erotic imagery?
(For example Free porn videos, fast free porn - pornBB)

If so then it definitely doesn't sound like anything to worry about
  • in my original post i did say they were not orgasmic but now it's really hard to say. I cannot control them. Nor do they intensify with erotic imagery or thoughts.

My concern is the frequency. There were a few days where it was on and off all day. Even had them while exercising.

I too have had twitches. just sitting down in a chair will start them off. it doesnt lead to any sexual feelings, almost think it is overworked muscles trying to figure out which way they are supposed to be

Interesting observations, insert_here. Don't know when it really started, but of recent I've been getting a mild intermittent buzzing feeling that feels like a tiny electrical current, off then on every two or three seconds in my glans. I've observed this at odd times in the day when I'm regularly having evening Aneros sessions but it doesn't seem to feel as if it's arising from my urethra. At other times I'll feel the sensation there's a band slowly tightening around my shaft above the level of the glans though I find no relationship between these two interesting sensations. Neither of these feel orgasmically related to me and both are unrelated to sexual feelings or thoughts. I wouldn't imagine such nonspecific sensations like you or other contributors have described being of medical significance as long as no abnormalities are found in your regular urologic or medical checkups. I would think they are related to the unique stimulation of the nerves provided by the Aneros.

    Guys,

After thinking about this for a bit, I too, have experienced these inexplicable minor subtle penile sensations at various times. I can think of no particular trigger source and they do not appear to be sexually/sensually arousal related. I don't know if I have been experiencing these my whole life or only after beginning the rewiring process.

I think the rewiring process teaches us to be more attuned to our body's subtle feedback language, as such we are more aware of these sensations than we were prior to Aneros use. I certainly don't think these sensations are anything to be concerned about unless they turn painful in some way. IMHO, they are just another interesting by-effect of prostate awakening.

  • When I originally posted I was not concerned. Like everyone else I took them as an interesting by-product of using the aneros. It wasn't until they increased in frequency to the point where i was having them almost all day long and everyday that made me think that this was a bit too much. Anyway, once again these odd sensations have subsided. Go figure. lol

For the record I should mention that I have yet to experience the super o.

Insert, it sounds like a by-product of progress to me. I've gotten up into super O territory, and "current" throughout my penis is definitely/often part of the experience for me. See if you can ever find/notice that current when you're flying high, and see if it doesn't amount to a surging tingle of your pleasure when you're otherwise aroused.
  • i've tried but nada. Worse yet my progress over the past two years has (sadly) gone backwards. I barely get anything and when i do it's not for very long.
