Hi, South7856. I'm assuming from the question you're a relatively new user and interested in getting a feel for what method of contractions with the Aneros works best. I'm don't think there's any one "cook-book" method that's sure-fire for everyone, hence the wide variety of comments you will probably receive in response to your question.

I'm at ten months now and just in the last month became successful at producing consistent orgasms in sessions and I would say at this point, the whole process is almost entirely involuntary for me. After inserting a lubricated warmed massager I lie on my back with my knees up and relax and within just a few minutes contractions begin on their own and quickly progress to warm pressure feelings in my pelvis at which point I add light nipple stimulation and shortly thereafter being experiencing ejaculatory sensations like I'm spurting out semen, though I'm completely "dry". I'll have four or five orgasms like this in about a half hour at which point my pelvis and spine begin to tingle which, though I usually stop about then, suggests even more pleasures will be discovered as I continue this.

For months though I had to train myself with voluntary contractions before any of this would occur, so I think I understand the point you are now at, and I too read many good suggestions on this forum but found the following worked best for me. For almost three months I felt absolutely nothing with the massager inserted but nevertheless practiced with contractions, focusing on the PC contraction, that is the contraction that would cut off your urine midstream (you can practice this the next time you have to pee), more so than an anal contraction (as in tightening your sphincter to hold back a bowel movement). I would hold this contraction at about a 1 out of 5 level for 20 to 30 seconds, then relax and deep breathe for about the same amount of time and repeat this about 10 times. Then I'd repeat the whole exercise at maybe a 2 or 3 out of 5 level for about 7 times, then repeat the exercise again at about a 4 or 5 out of 5 level for about 5 times. In all, this would make for about a 30 to 40 minute session and, of course, I began all sessions with 5 or so minutes of complete relaxation before beginning the contraction exercises.

After about three months of training like this 3 to 5 times a week, never finishing with traditional ejaculation (sex with my wife was on other nights) and never doing porn (I'm Christian and believe it's harmful and distracting), I began to experience anal flutters, and a month or so following that, involuntary rectal contractions, the kind that grip and bear down on the massager without you doing anything to cause them. It was however another couple months (six months in all from when I started) before this began to produce warm feelings in my pelvis, and even during the following three months leading up to a month ago I could at most feel pre-orgasmic sensations of varying strength, even the strongest of which, though pleasurable, wouldn't quite cross over. This last month with sensations crossing over into strong ejaculatory-like orgasms has constituted the biggest breakthrough for me, and though your training process may not be as long as mine, it will almost assuredly expand your sexual and prostate health in ways you can't imagine.

Best regards as you make your journey there. slimjm

    Hello South7856, :)

Slimjim gave you a fantastic answer with much insight! And I'll second his experience that as you get more advanced it tends to become much more involuntary, and do nothing approach. But much like myself when I first started out, you have to start somewhere. And that's where working on the voluntary contractions helps. For myself, what I found most important was to strengthen the PC muscles. With your Aneros inserted, try flexing the muscles that will push your prostate against the Aneros. It may be difficult at first, and you likely be doing a bit anal contractions at the same time unintentionally. But at some point you will be able to separate them. And then you can practice that contraction without an Aneros in you. I don't have any specific contraction methods beyond just doing what feels good. Let your body lead the way. Also, if you have not already done so. I highly recommend you start stimulating your nipples during Aneros or no-Aneros sessions. When they finally wake up, they are incredibly useful tools for increasing arousal and pleasure.

Until recently I got almost no sensation from my nipples. Then, on a Yahoo group, someone suggested Supple Nips . They have made my nipples much larger and quite sensitive. I find this a great benefit with the Aneros :)

Those may be great. But they are totally not necessary to gain any pleasurable sensations from your nipples if you don't want to spend the money on them. I just use my finger tips in various light patterns of stimulation. Just realize that it won't happen over night. It took me a while of playing with my nipples during Aneros sessions before they woke up. But once they did... oh boy! :D

Agree with Love_Is, nipple stimulation, like the whole rewiring process, takes some time before an "awakening" occurs. But when it does, it's amazing. After the first few minutes when involuntary contractions begin, I can just tickle my nipples by lightly rubbing them with a circular motion (which makes them become erect and more sensitive) and it's like electrical tingles travel to my prostate and immediately start the warm pelvic sensations that rapidly escalate into orgasms. Several months ago you couldn't have made me believe this.

In over 20 years of being sexually active that didn't happen for me until I trued SNs. It may well be possible to achieve this without SNs - all I'm saying is that they worked for me when I'd given up the idea of enjoying my nipples.

I suspect that is a journey most people on this forum have gone thorugh/are going through :)
