Nervouse first time user...
  • I am a hetero-sexual male. I purchased the Aneros the other day with my flesh light. (They should arrive tomorrow). I have done all my research on this product, and was very curious about it, but I am nervous as all hell to try it out, and I would like to know what other people did to get over the nervousness?
  • I kinda dove head first into it when I first got mine. Didn't put forth effort of any kind to actually go on the Journey that these forums talk about.

Just take deep breaths and relax with no movement until you get used to the Aneros being in you and you being in the Fleshlight. Then only move very slightly. Its just a matter of getting used to it. When I first tried the Aneros I blew it after only a few minutes; same when I first tried the Fleshlight STU. But after lots of practice you can last hours with the Aneros and the Fleshlight, even both at the same time!

So don't be anxious, just relax and enjoy. Probably best not to do Aneros and Fleshlight together until you are used to both.

    Hi lodgeadick,

    Welcome to the Forum,

I hope your nervousness is the result of excitement and not fears.

If it is fear then perhaps you should make a quick read of Misconceptions and Health Issues - Psychological in the WIKI .

If it is excitement, then you will greatly ease your anxiety by becoming well informed. I first suggest you read the Getting Started section of the WIKI. This section covers the primary aspects of the Aneros experience : Preparation, Arousal, Lubrication, Insertion, Relaxation, etc.

The first few times you insert your new toy are important to set the stage for all future insertions. I would recommend that you make sure you can set aside several hours of uninterrupted time to prepare and have your first sessions. First make sure you have had a bowel movement recently so peristaltic action doesn't force an early termination to your coming session. Take a hot bath or long shower to help physically relax your body while simultaneously building arousal. Take time to assure your anal sphincter muscles are completely relaxed prior to attempting insertion. This may involve doing finger massage around and into your anal opening for several minutes. USE LOTS OF LUBE! It is better to use too much lube than too little! Be gentle, this is sensitive tissue in and around your anus with many more nerve endings there than you may have thought.

Go slowly with the insertion to allow you anus to easily open and accept the massager, pushing gently. At some point, once the widest part of the Aneros has passed beyond the inner sphincter ring, the device will probably seemingly be 'sucked in' and seat itself naturally.

Allow yourself time to get accustomed to these new sensations before trying any contraction exercises and welcome to your new adventures. I agree with 'GrandTiger's advice “... just relax and enjoy. Probably best not to do Aneros and Fleshlight together until you are used to both.”
  • Hey lodgeadick,

I am new to the Aneros universe also. My first session was a little over a week ago and I appreciate your nerves. When my Helix arrived I, quite literally, was shaking with anticipation and anxiety. Don’t go into a session with that expectation. This, perhaps, is the worst state to be in for a session. I know this forum is an echo chamber of this mantra, but relaxation really is everything. I found a hot bath helpful for my first few sessions, along with low tempo/ambient music. It feels silly and pointless the first time, but take a good 15 minutes after insertion to relax, before you start contracting. Ideally, you want to be in a deep sleep-like trance, this is where I have had the most success. If you feel any pleasure at all, follow it and try to build it up.

Be patient and persistent, you might not feel much for a few sessions. Even if it takes months, or even years, the wait will be worth it. Don’t give up!

In my own experiences, I have found the Fleshlight too potent for use with the Aneros. The Fleshlight can very easily overpower the subtle feeling that begin a session. With luck, you will become very sensitive during your session; it’s best to avoid all penile stimuli or you risk ejaculation. I have found it difficult to even end with a Super-T via Fleshlight; it’s all too powerful and often over before I begin.
  • Thanks, everyone. I am a first time user for both. The wife and the kids are away for the week. I was going to go with the pink lady original, but I went with the STU. I need to work on controlling my orgasims. I always seem to cum way to early. When we first got together, I could go forever, now I just GO! Any good ideas on how to control that as well? I will post a reply on how everything went.

I would suggest you keep your aneros and fleshlight sessions separate, at least for now. I own several FL's and they're great toys, but if you try to play with both, the FL will probably overpower any sensations you get from the aneros. Occassionally I do end an aneros session with my FL, but only after I've already enjoyed the ride.
  • I just received my Fleshlight and Aneros. Can't try them until later tonight, due to the fact that I have to finish my bathroom. I think I am going to give the Fleshlight a go first, then the Aneros.
  • OK, So I am going to use the Fleshlight first, then the Aneros. How long should i after using the Flesh Light?? Am I going to be ok in the morning, like, am not going to have a hard on all day, am I? And, if I am not comfortable, can I remove the Aneros with out any problems?

The Fleshlight is really nothing more than a very well designed and made fake pussy. It is a wonderful alternative to your hand and provides great stimulation, just like the real thing (vagina). I won't worry too much about that at all.

You can always remove the aneros at any time. You are never committed to anything. Just be kind to your behind and remove it slowly. There are muscles in your anus (inner sphincter) that you don't control, by going slow you give them a "heads up" and they won't cause you greif.

You won't have a hard on all day, unless you are really really excited and keep thinking about it (ie you really really want to be hard all day). But even that is difficult to do, even with viagra.

The first few times (probably the first 15-20 times) I used the aneros, I was in the wrong frame of mind. I expected pleasure, or at least for it to feel good. When it didn't, I just masturbated, which certainly felt better with the aneros but didn't blow my socks off.

I found that when I made a contraction with the aneros, it felt like I was going to instantly drop the sauce (ejaculate). Talk about premature ejaculation. This effect was only present with the aneros in and only happened in the beginning. Everyone is different, but if you find the same thing happening don't sweat it.

The more you use the aneros, the more you exercise and strengthen the muscles that will ultimately give you your control back to last longer.

Last Sunday I had my first Super-O, It has been a year in the making. I would say that it blew my socks off, but at the time, I didn't know what socks were! It was that amazing. Even if I never have a super-o again, the 1 that I had was certainly worth the year of effort I put in. My eyes have been opened and I know what is possible 8)

Enjoy the ride and have fun,
