Your experiences with Zane Blue's Orgasmic Diet?

    Hi,

I'm homeworking today (London snowday), so I will have the chance to run down to the local Holland & Barrett health food store.

I thought I might try her fish oil diet to see if that helps my situation ( http://www.aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3774 ). The thing is, I'm sure that it is purely for better orgasms, not for better sex or masturbation. And do men benefit from it?

What have your experiences been? Do you have fishy breath or smells?

    Hi MyTurn!

I seem to have an overall better feeling of healthiness since raising my
daily Fish Oil dosage to about 6,000 units.

But I also have some actual proof of one kind! After my latest blood test,
my doctor asked me if I was taking Fish Oil??? An out of the normal question
from her, indeed! I told her yes and she asked "how much" and I said 6,000
units and she said hmmmm . . .

Then she said my triglycerides were down to about half the norm for a male my
age! Keep taking it! Amazing, and my overall cholestoral numbers were down,
as well! Also, my blood pressure is good . . .

Although I have Zane's book, I still haven't started the actual diet yet, I am
ashamed to admit! Later tho, when my "front burner" problems are solved!

IMHO, her healthy diet can't hurt the situation and may help!

holy shit hlaser99 do you really take 6000 units of fish oli a day? man, that seems like a lot. In what form do you take it? I have found the highest % was carlson's fish oil but even that is just under 1000 units/teaspoon

    Hi thhn!

I have been taking 5 B&J extra strength Fish oil 1200 mg gel caps!
They are just run of the mill, I guess (from Sam's Club) Yours is probably much
higher quality, as Zane recommended this brand to you.

Although, I said units instead of mg. . . . if this makes any difference???

Been taking them for several years and at this level for a couple of years!

I tried to find out the EPA/DHA and all I can find out is a combined EPA/DHA
of 720 mg for each 2400 mg of product or 360 mg combined for each cap.

This would give me 1800 of combined EPA/DHA each day and Zane recommends
by my weight (250) to take probably 5500 mg!

So, basically I take a brand I can afford, but if I took the 5500 mg, (15 caps/day)
I would be swimming in it! (no pun intended!)

    Hey thhn!

    Glad you posted this!

Caused me to look up ALL the numbers again, to see how much
    I should actually be taking . . .

I just upped my dosage to 8 caps and will see how close I can get
to the 15 caps it takes eventually to get the dosage I should be taking,
according to Zane's post here a while back!

(Hope the amount is correct! LOL!)

the first bottle of fish oil I bought gave the unit measurements on the front, it said 2400 units and I thought , hey great and cheap too. but then I came to realize it doesn't actually say in mg how much dha and epa you were getting. I am guessing the numbers were low.
I wouldn't buy a product that doesn't list these. as I think they can dress up a bottle to be quite deceiving. the carlson's brand I have found to be the highest and I have been buying them off amazon.com they also have 1000mg gels if you don't like the oil. I found it to be about half the price on amazon as what they are charging for the exact same bottle in my local health food store.
I would think you would be getting plenty from what you are taking but it would be nice to know just how much dha and epa you are taking.

I never really addressed myturns questions in his first post.
I can't say that taking fish oil is like taking a powerful drug that you can feel it when it hits you, but I will say that I am feeling horny as ever and for an older guy in his 50's, I'm happy about that. no need for viagra either. I feel like it is making a difference, plus the fact that fish oil is good for you on many levels.
I have not noticed any fishy breath or smells and I take the oil not the capsuls. I keep a bottle in the frigerator and a couple times a day I grab it and take a big swig right out of the bottle.... just like a wino might have a snort of whiskey.

    Hi Guys,

I’ve been using this brand of Omega 3 Fish Oil. Each softgel contains 410mg EPA & 274mg DHA (total = 684mg/softgel), this is close to the 1.5 to 1 recommended ratio.
If we use ‘zaneblue’s recommended daily dosage formula this is how the table would look.
(the following was revised per 'zaneblue's posted numbers)
    Weight(lbs.) EPA(mg) DHA(mg) Total(mg) softgels required
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    130-----------1700-------1300--------3000--------4.8
    150-----------2100-------1650--------3750--------6.0
    170-----------2500-------2000--------4500--------7.3
    190-----------2800-------2200--------5000--------8.0
    210-----------3100-------2400--------5500--------8.8
    230-----------3400-------2600--------6000--------9.5
    250+----------3700-------2800--------6500-------10.2
    CAUTIONARY per 'zaneblue'-
"I want to stress that at these high dosages if anyone is on any medications they should check with their doctor about potential interactions, particularly blood-thinning drugs like Coumadin or anti-inflammatory drugs. Don't take high-dose fish oil if you take lots of OTC pain relievers, are on aspirin therapy, are scheduled for surgery or are allergic to fish (obviously).
Always take with food and spread out the dosage during the day."

I split my intake between getting up and going to bed (3-4 softgels twice a day).

‘hlaser99’, you could get your optimum dosage with a total of only 10 of these softgels per day instead of the 15+ you might otherwise need to take.

I've been taking 3,750 mg. omega-3 for a little over a year. It definitely helps in achieving full body orgasms (FBO), but it doesn't seem to make any difference with quality of erections, ejaculation, or semen volume. I think it raises my libido a lot and generally makes me feel energized. It gives me a pretty high mood too. I use the enteric coated soft-gels from Costco, as they are inexpensive but work.

    To All,

Just a word of caution. When consuming fish oil at these high dosages it is absolutely essential that you use a brand that is HIGHLY refined!. What you're looking for is pharmaceutical grade product if at all possible. Be aware that there are many brands making the claim that aren't. I know that Zane has recommended one brand in particular and I know of several others as well that are pharmaceutical grade. Just be careful that you do a little research before buying a large supply of product.

I'm having issues of which fish oil to buy. Can't seem to find any recommended brand from ZaneBlue.
I researched the brand Rumel uses but am skeptical on that one because of how many "other ingredients" there are in them.
Other Ingredients: Fish Oil Concentrate, Gelatin, Glycerin, Methacrylic Acid Copolymer, d-Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Monostearate, Triethyl Citrate, Triacetin, Vanillin, Mixed Natural Tocopherol, Polysorbate 80, Fish, Anchovy, Sardine, Soy.

The last ingredient is soy which don't we want to stay away from using this diet.

Other products I've found such as

    http://dan.xtend-life.com/product/Omega_3_~_DHA_Esters/Ingredients.aspx

claim to have no additional ingredients but the epa/dha ratios aren't what the diet suggests. There's more dha than epa. Though beside the ratio not being right, this brand seems very clean using the oil from one kind of fish versus other brands that use the oil from several kinds of fish.

Anyways this is becoming a tuff decision of which fish oil to buy. I ran out a couple of days ago and have been hesitating to buy more cause I can't seem to find a brand I trust enough yet.
    I guess the research continues.

So which brand does she (Zane Blue) recommend?

    Buster,

I pulled this out of one of Zane's posts from a while back . . .

"The ratio should be around 1.5 EPA to 1 DHA. Most high-quality fish oils have 2 to 1, so I recommend additional DHA supplementation like Carlson's Super-DHA. GNC has a DHA brand too.

I think Carlson's also has an ultrarefined brand with the right proportions."

    Don't know how expensive though!

    Rumel,

Wow! Thanks for the chart and everything!

When my current supply is out, I will use your brand; as it is
double the dosage in each gel cap! (and I am a Sam's Club Member)

I am currently at about 2,500 and can tell a difference already, but I
plan to stay on this dosage for a while till I make sure of no side-effects,
before I move on to the 5,500 level that Zane recommends in her diet!
I take some pretty powerful medications and side-effects of one sort or
    another are a common occurrence . . .

In my opinion Zone Labs, Ascenta (Nutra Sea) and Carlson's are all good products. Zone Labs is the premium brand of the bunch (with the price to match)...but you get what you pay for. With a high EPA to DHA ratio, 1600mg and 800mg respectively (4 capsules or 5ml) and a high 5 star IFOS rating for purity. Capsules or liquid (for those of us who like shooters). Ascenta's Nutra Sea has the 1.5 to 1 EPA to DHA ratio and is an ultra pure product as well.

    Hello boys! 8)

All right, first off, what brands do I recommend? For pregnant or nursing women I recommend only Minami or the Zone Labs brand--they are both ultrarefined and extremely pure. If you've got a lot of cash to spend and you don't mind spending it, men can take those too. Also those are the best brands if you have a sensitive tummy.

GNC has an ultrarefined brand if you want to save some money. their triple-strength fish oil. It's not in the right balance though, the ratio is too high in EPA. It's especially the DHA that helps vaginal or prostate orgasms, which is why I recommend balancing with a DHA product like Carlson's Super-DHA or GNC also carries a DHA brand.

Any brand is fine as long as EPA + DHA >500 mg per one one-gram capsule. In other words, at least half of the fish oil should be EPA or DHA, otherwise there is too much fish gunk in your fish oil and it will make you nauseous at high doses.

If you are giving out dosages, I want to stress that at these high dosages if anyone is on any medications they should check with their doctor about potential interactions, particularly blood-thinning drugs like Coumadin or anti-inflammatory drugs. Don't take high-dose fish oil if you take lots of OTC pain relievers, are on aspirin therapy, are scheduled for surgery or are allergic to fish (obviously).

Always take with food and spread out the dosage during the day.
  • Thanks for the great information. What do you think about this fish oil from Wonder Laboratories?

Although it is not as pure as the Zone Labs stuff, it seems like a pretty good price for what you get: $16.75 for 270 softgels with 1.5:1::EPA:DHA ratio, 500mg of each 1000mg is EPA or DHA. And the reviews seem to be good as well. Am I missing something?

I'm gonna read up on this and then take your recommendation/advice. Thanks! At the moment, it's really hectec. Work all day, commute home, dinner, girlfriend asking me to visit (no net), or girlfriend here at my house, back to work...no time to research this. As it is, I have had to use the Aneros overnight/during the early hours/eye-stingingly early for a rushed, drowsy, poor session.

I received an email for a product called OmegaQ PLUS, which, of course, they claim is far superior to all other Omega 3 vitamins because it contains Co-Q10, and other ingredients. It can be found here:

    http://www.tryomegaqplus.com/?gclid=CNX84Nqf1pgCFQwxawodkBfvbA

What does anyone know about it? How about you, zaneblue?
  • Anyone in Canada have any luck finding a good brand?

Best I've found so far (haven't tried it yet) is at Costco. It's 600 EPA/DHA in every 1000 (so good concentrate) but the ratio is 2:1 so it isn't perfect.

OK, I am back on this. I bought Health Aid Omega 3, available OTC in the UK.

    First, some stats:

    - Each capsule contains (average):
    Fish oil concentrate 1250mg
    EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) 425mg
    DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) 325mg
    Total Omega-3 Fatty acids 750mg
    Vitamin E (7.45iu) 5mg

    http://www.auravita.com/products/aura/phar16689.asp

Now for dosage. According to Zane blue's chart, I should be on 6 a day, so 3 with every meal? MAN, I had one with a meal today (before I saw the chart/recommended dosage) and I feel like I swallowed a skateboard lengthways. But it'll be worth it.

So since I only had one today (my first), I should up the dosage slowly to get onto the dosage recommended for my weight (12 stone ish, 170 lbs ish).?

    1. How is it known that this diet has benefits for men? What did they report (improvements?)
    2. Does this only benefit orgasm or does it benefit, sexual pleasure, desire, function, etc - males and females?
    3. How do you take the Omega3 Capsules: swallow whole? Suck? Just before eating a meal? Twice a day?
    4. How long will it take to see any benefit? I guess it depends on the person.
    5. Does it make your breath stink or just your burps?
    6. Does it have lasting benefits/effects after you stop taking the tablets?
    7. Does it make genital/urine smell? I read on a forum that a woman had this trouble and had to sleep in a diff bed for fear of her husband smelling her down there.

I think mine is over the EPA + DHA > 500mg thing that Zane said.
