Mum found Aneros site in my History! Whoops

    Hi,

Well, I was a bit busy and forgot to clear my history. I went to my gf's house, then got a phonecall. It was mum. She said: "Why are you at [gf]'s?"

Me: "What? You knew I was coming here."

Mum: "What are you doing there when you're looking up shit on the computer! I pressed Back on your browser. What's this anal stuff you've been looking up?! Is that why you're so moody, coz you secretly want to be out there catching hepatitis [referring to homosexuality]. I'm so ashamed. ...!"

Yes. I got caught good. I was so angry at her snooping! She had no reason to be in my room or fiddling with my PC. Gf didn't find out about the phonecall's content though. I had to explain to my mum a little bit about the prostate and perineum. Had to exaggerate a few things here and there, and omit and add some details here and there, but essentially, just told her the truth. I didn't tell her what model of Aneros I got. I said I got a cock-ring model! So I gotta hide my Aneros better than ever now, and my history.

But that won't stop me. I have had the Helix for a few days now, but only got to use it once, so tonight will be my second time with it. I'm going over the wiki in a while. I really want to get on the road to Pwaves and such.

So just be careful when you browse this site.

sorry, but as a parent i could not imagine behaving like that. i *respect* my kids, their privacy and their personal life.

also, you can disable your history in your browser.

  • This is a good case for the new Google Chrome browser. Not to plug products or anything, but it is super fast on startup. The best feature is the incognito mode. It is a separate window you open that does not store history or cookies from any site you open in the incognito window. I am using it almost exclusively save a few sites that I still use Firefox for. It also does a good job of stopping you from viewing sites that may be poisoned with malware.

Sorry, no Mac or Linux versions yet, but on the way.

    MyTurn,

You might want to read the thread ”I think my mum found my aneros!” for some related views on this topic.

While it is unfortunate that your mother was snooping into your private interests (as mothers are wont to do), it is probably good that you will not need to be deceptive with her in the future. This doesn’t mean that you need to proceed with full candid disclosure of your personal activities though. I believe a policy of “Don’t ask, don’t tell, but don’t lie.” is appropriate in personal sexual matters.
If your mother presses the issue for further details, there are a number of good arguments you may put forth in respect to your rights as an individual human being :
1.) You have every right to gather pertinent information regarding your body’s functions and health. This is perfectly natural and intelligent behavior and this includes all aspects of your sexuality.
2.) You have every right do with your body what you wish (I do hope you will treat yourself with respect and act in a safe and healthy manner)
3.) You have every right to investigate and try modes of behavior that may differ from modes she might be comfortable employing (this does not include anti-social/criminal acts).
4.) You have every right to adopt lifestyle behaviors that are enriching and enjoyable for you if they do not harm or interfere with other people.
These are just a few of your rights and I’m sure you can derive many others. You are your own person, entitled to act and take responsibility for your actions. You are entitled to think what you may without remorse or guilt. Your Aneros usage is just another behavior in your ongoing life learning experiences.

As regards to your other post “…I'm so desperate and impatient for this to work fully!” and “I need 100% certainty on things…” is most likely a formula for disappointment. 100% certainty is an illusion and a trap for capturing failure. Desperation will only lead to frustration, impatience may lead to illusory shortcuts which are actually only dead ends. Take the time to allow the sensual aspects of yourself to reveal themselves gradually, I can assure you it is worth the investment.
  • MyTurn, are you making this story up? Sounds a bit concocted.
  • Interesting.

I would much sooner tell my parents I was massaging my prostate via the rectum for health purposes than tell them I got a cock ring!
  • Dude:
Sorry you had to deal with the parental unit on such a personal and private issue. I have two sons and they have always been encouraged that masturbation is not sinful or naughty, it's just a part of a persons sexual journey. My parents we've very open and non-prying and we try to be as well. When people live together, you're just going to occasionally bump into one anothers sexuality...our kids have walked in on my wife and I doing it, I've walked in on the boys wacking it. That's life. I wouldn't be as open as to actually share with either my dad or brother or sons the joys of Aneros unprompted. But, if they asked me about it, I'd share. It's been a big source of fun and enhanced sexual pleasure for me and my wife and I'd hope they all could have such an enjoyable and open relationship with their spouses in the future. Nothing creates a healthier and more respectful environment for a family that to know mom and dad enjoy getting it on with one another. I think your mom will get over it. But, even if she doesn't, don't let that spoil your attitude.

    Thanks.

No, this isn't a joke. I sat my mum down and explained a little bit about this. She asked what model I had. I was evasive but tried to detract it away from homosexuality, and towards its benefits. She has dropped the odd snide biting comment at me these past few days. She even called me "corrupt". But since Xmas is on and we are gifting each other and stuff, I think it's taken some of the focus off the issue a little.

Anyway, I am still on my prostate journey, no matter who knows or disapproves.

Sucks that your mum is so hung up about this.
She needs to know that putting things in your bum doesn't make you gay.
I don't know anything about your family, but my own father has had prostate problems in recent years and has had to have a couple of operations on his prostate because it had swolen to such a degree that he couldn't piss at all. Very painful!
Anyway, I got interested in the aneros for its sexual properties, but after what happened to my dad, and reading about how good for your prostate the aneros is, I'm glad I've got into it in my early 20s. Maybe it will mean I never have to go through what he's been through.

If I were in your position, I'd try to have a chat with her about prostate health, and explain that the aneros is a tool to help keep your prostate healthy.
  • Is she religious?
When i was young the church goers were real bad about surpressing ANYTHING that had to do with sex or should I say the S word ...
Not to speak of putting things in the ass which to them is instant sin equivelent to being a gay and being gay is antichrist in most churchs which is absolutely rediculous by the way...CHURCHIES!!
So I was just curious as to wether that was what she was thinking..the religious mentality very hard to show them that they are programmed.

Not all churches have that kind of wrongminded thinking. There are many fundamental, Bible-reading churches that believe that pretty much any kind of sex between husband and wife is not only okay, but essential. My wife and I went to a Reformed Baptist church where the pastor would have an annual checkup to see if you were both satisfied with your sex life.

As a funny, ironic aside, the Puritans were in fact, NOT the prudish, frigid wet-blankets that modern society has mislabeled them. They were in fact, the biggest horndogs you would ever meet (no small wonder why they had so many kids).

It is very sad that many churches have such wrongheaded, unbiblical thinking about sex in marriage (go read the Song of Solomon with a horny mind, so to speak, because that was its context).
  • http://www.teensagainstporn.com/index.php how's this for conservative it's not a coincidence that all of their members are christian/religious.... ehehe ^^
  • Badger, I don't doubt for a second what you say is true...as a matter of fact the "Logos" of the New Testament of which Jesus  (Emmanuel 8) ) is related to is something of phallic origin.
The "Word or Logos" of "g"od(The Creator Elohim).
Therefore ...ahem it seems ironic idiotic and completely counterproductive for ANY organization especially one calling itself a church, of which NONE(Organizations) realy are since that term is pinned to "followers" of the Christ or the "Body" of Him, to speak against the Logos which in my opinion is also the Holy Spirit.
    Point being..they are Anti-Logos.
