New Helix User Needs Advice
  • Hi Guys: For the record I'm a 50 year old married healthy Heterosexual male whom enjoys ass play. I also enjoy masturbation as well as intercourse. This whole thing on Prostate Massage just drives me over the edge. I love to experiment. I normally engage in the anal thing when I'm alone as the the wife really doesn't like to play. She agreed to let me purchase a Helix but wants me to use it during intercourse with her. She read the Viagra thing on the Aneros website and thought this would really spice up my performance in the sack. Now I've had three private sessions without any success but I'm very patient and from what I've read it will all happen in time. I really love the feeling of the Helix once its in me. My problem is that I have an awefull time getting an erection while the device is in place. I'm looking for advice as to how I can get an erection with the device in place. I normally never have a problem "getting it up" and I don't want the wife to feel cheated if I can't do so. I'm presently using Astroglide Gel and have no discomfort with the device in. Should I try inserting the Helix after I'm erect if I'm only going to use it during intercourse ? Thanx.....

    Phelix wit a Helix'

Some people use the Aneros to enhance ejaculatory orgasms (either with masturbation or intercourse), and others find ejaculation with the device inserted is uncomfortable. You are not alone in being unable to have an erection with it present. I don't know why that happens, but it really misses the point of what the Aneros is all about.

The Aneros is intended to produce a non-ejaculatory orgasm. You might want to study the Wiki on this site to see what this is. It is similar to an ejaculatory orgasm, except no semen is discharged - but often pre-cum is. Unlike ejaculatory orgasms, these can be be repeated many times in a relatively short time. Many individuals find the intensity and duration of the orgasm far greater than a traditional one. For most of us, this is a solo affair because achieving this type of orgasm is an inner journey in which one is focused on subtle sensations which usually disappear with penile stimulation.

Some people have pleasurable sensations the first few times they use the device, but others must use it for longer times before much happens. During this time the body is re-wiring itself to experience this phenomenon. I personally see it as a form of meditation. For me it became one of the most amazing things ever to happen to me, and I think it is well worth the effort to try to master it if you are inclined to set aside the time and effort to do it.

I am in the same boat. When using the helix I am not always erect. I have only tried to have sex with it once and it didn't go over so well. I couldn't even get hard when she was giving me a blowjob. At one point I did begin to get hard, then I tried to start with some good ol' porking and lost my woody.

During solo sesssions I do get periodic erections (and when I have them it's great), but I would say that during 70% of the time when the aneros is inserted, I am Mr. Softee.

I have only been using the aneros for about 3-4 months now (2 x 4 times a week). I found that in the beginning erections were hard to come by. (Pun intended) But now I do get hard more frequently and for longer durations.

I would suggest having a vibrator on hand for your wife incase you aren't able to perform with it inserted. Mutual masturbation can be fun...

But rest assured that with more experience, you will be better able to control everything down there.

Using the aneros is like practicing a martial art. The more you practice, the better you get. You're probably still a white belt, but as time passes your skills will improve and the illustrious super-o black belt can be yours!
