Where has the pleasure gone?

    Hello all,

This is a bit of a progress report and even though I think I'm someway down the path of re-wiring, I'd like to ask the experts out there a couple of questions.
I've had my MGX for about 3 months now and have had some wonderful experiences with it. I don't think I've achieved a Super-O so far but certainly a Dry-O on one occasion. On a number of other occasions I experienced pleasure so intensely and for such a prolonged period that I found myself involuntarily moaning. The thing is that even though these sessions were extremely plaesurable, they always seemed to end without a feeling of satisfaction, without release so to speak. It was as though I was climbing a mountain and had the peak in sight but just couldn't manage to reach it. I found it a little frustrating. Unfortunately I don't get to use my Aneros as often as I'd like due to a lack of private time (I have a wonderful wife but intolerant of this sort of activity).

Now though, I'm perplexed because about 3 weeks ago I was experiencing this great pleasure from almost every session, but in my last few there's been nothing much at all. In fact I seem to get more prostate stimulation and good feelings from walking around with my MGX inserted rather than lying down meditating and relaxing etc as per the instructions. Even though I can really feel the MGX massaging inside, now it never seems to get beyond a mildly enjoyable experience.

I'm 62 years old and still masturbate 2 or 3 times per week. Is it possible that masturbating to ejaculation is suppressing my ability to have a prostate orgasm'?
As mentiopned, I think I'm on the right path to re-wiring though because I have been experiencing frequent P-Waves that range from mild to reasonably strong at any time of the day or night.
They can be brought on by something as simple as catching sight of an attractive young woman. Sometimes they come on for seemingly no reason at all. They are quite brief when they come and I might experience 3 or 4 and then they move on.
I guess I can't understand why I can frequently experience P-Waves, and have been so close to nirvana some weeks ago and now nothing... zilch... zip.
I almost feel that the whole thing has escaped me and that I mightn't be able to get it back again.

Is this usual or am I just trying too hard now or something?
    Cheers all

PS: I've just ordered the Eupho and I should have it tomorrow. I'm hoping it may give me a new lease of life.

    Hello again Mr Bater!

All I can tell you is that I go thru periods (dry spells) where you feel like you may have lost the ability
to have Super O's or Dry O's! It is part of the process!

It sounds as though your re-wiring is still going on and your Journey is going down the right path and direction for success . . .

IMHO, having fewer traditional orgasms does put you into a higher excitement level! As I have said before, I have learned not to
be frustrated by this level of excitement, but to enjoy and use this sexual energy to heighten the senses and my enjoyment of life.

Oh, I usually have a higher level of orgasms, after having a dry spell . . . something for you to look forward to, eh???

    Mr Bater,

I am about your age. When I first started I found that my sessions would be much much better if I laid off ejaculating for at least 7 days. This was tough. You really have to want it. I have also found that as time goes by and with more and more practice, the time needed to refrain from ejaculation has become less and less. I now only need 1 or 2 days of abstinence for a great session. In fact, recently, I have had full sex with ejaculation in the morning and have been able to enjoy Aneros sessions that same night. The span of time has been about a year from waiting 7 days to now.

Also, you might now be ready for a little larger model. I really like the Maximus. I think it is underrated on this site. It works better than the Helix for me.

Is there a difference in sensation between the maximus and the Progasm? Or is the maximus an obsolete model?

    Hi mrbater, hlaser99 and JIH.

Same age and interested in your similar experiences. I too like sessions where I walk around, up and down stairs is great, and recently doing toe touches (WOW!), various stretches and other exercises with my Eupho (or, earlier my MGX) in!

When I started with Aneros (MGX) about a year and a half ago, I had the same basic on-again off-again levels of sensation and non-sensation during my solo sessions. Whether in the solos or with my wife, I/we always liked to end the sessions with a SuperT ejaculatory orgasm then.

As soon as I stopped any masturbation outside of our/my sessions, and reduced the SuperTs to an occasional part of the practice, my rewiring seemed to advance more regularly and reliably.

Similarly, my Aneros life began when mrs. a and I began our 'empty nest' mutual prostate (G-spots) explorations and the emphasis was on her developing the ejaculatory orgasms and celebrating her fountains with mine; and yet since our shift of focus to energies and energy exchanging to polarity shifting (the Von Urban Bio-electric Sex - see my blog!) ejaculations and erections have receded into the background in importance and frequency to the point of being very occasional. In this pattern for us, the nature, variety and locations of the SuperO and Bliss states have continued to increase as energies and ecstasies are the "Orgasms beyond orgasms" as another von Urban follower expressed it.

I find the walk-about sessions good energy builders as well, and better than standard sessions for prostate massage effects to treat my BPH, an original motive for getting an Aneros that still benefits greatly! And, yes hlaser, I still do complete some solo therapy sessions with an ejaculation to "clear the pipes"!

mb, you sound like you are actually on a good path, as hlaser indicates.

    all the best guys

when I read your post, I thought that could have been me writing that - my situation is most identical. the journey can be most frustrating. I am trying to take the time to smell the roses, but what I desire seems so elusive. I posted my similar experiences a while back in a post "one step forward and two steps back"
I recently purchased the peridise set and have found wearing the small one is quite enjoyable when I go about my day to day business. I find I get all sorts of quick pleasure bursts from different activities that I don't get if I were just laying in bed trying to get those.
I thought I was really on to something a while back when I had the peridise inserted for several hours as I conducted my daily business. later that day I had time for a session - when I took out the peridise and put in the mgx, I had an immediate rush of p waves. I figured the peridise had my prostrate all warmed up and ready to go. The next time I tried the same plan, with more time to spend later in the day, the results were not nearly the same.
What seems to work one time does not necessarly work the next time - at least not for me.

Mrbater, I recommend the Helix as a warm up before using the MGX. Make sure you have a good lube and plenty of it as well. I use water based containing no glycerine. Try different positions. My best is on my back with a pillow under my rear/back and my legs extending up to the side of a bed over over it, or up to / over a short chest of drawers. Masturbation / ejaculation can reduce your orgasmic abilities if done too frequently. Get plenty of sleep. Also take enough good quality fish oil. (See other threads about that). I also recommend daily dark chocolate (say 1 to 2 oz) and some Ginko Biloba - maybe some Ginseng as well. Daily vits don't hurt and in particular Vit E, C, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. Check your testosterone levels too. If you are low you may wish to supplement as long as you don't have prostate cancer issues.

I can definitely attest to the Omega 3 fish oil with dark chocolate as helping a lot though. I think the Ginko also helps in breathing and blood circulation in the brain which helps orgasm as well.

    Thanks for your advice everyone.

I got my new Eupho and had a session a couple of days ago. I began to get the early pleasure increase but still the more intense pleasure I was experiencing before eluded me. Perhaps it says something about my nature but I get a bit frustrated and probably start trying too hard.

Some weeks ago all I needed to do was insert the MGX, relax for 10 mins and then clench my sphincter to about 30 to 50% of maximum. If I held that for 30 seconds or so the pleasure would quickly build to the point where I would let it go and repeat the process again. Very nice. I WANT IT BAAAAACCK!!!

Now though, none of that happens. I might put them both away for a while and see what happens.

Another question for all you experts. I wonder if my testosterone might be varying or something. Back when I was having success with the MGX, I was horny most of the time, day and night. Right now I have little if any desire for sexual stimulation. Even watching porn doesn't do much for me at the moment. Is there something that can be done to increase one's libido? I was masturbating almost daily there for a while, right now I've got no motivation at all.

    Thanks again

If you want to increase your testosterone naturally you can purchase Tribulus. Lots of places carry it. I take it. Good stuff. But before you increase your testosterone you should have your PSA checked by the doc and he should tell you it is ok. If your levels are off he can also prescribe Androgel.
