I wiped blood- HELP!

This happened after my 3rd session.

My first two sessions were fine. I spent maybe an hour with the Helix in place both times. No cum of any kind, and ended up finishing off with my hand on my cock.

I decided that 3 days was enough time and I wanted to go for my 3rd session. I began with my finger in my ass for about 10 - 15 minutes, just to massage it and get it nice and lubed up. I applied copius amounts of lube and I thought that I was good to go. I coated the helix up with more lube and slowly inserted it. I didn't notice anything that was as pleasurable as the previous two times, so after about 10 minutes, I decided to bust out my new MGX. I removed the helix and applied MORE lube to the area, even spreading my cheeks and allowing lube to enter via gravity (I was on my back, legs in the air). I prepped the MGX in the same way, lube, lube, lube. Upon insertion of the MGX I noticed that it felt a bit bigger than the helix, but in a good way. So I left it in place and relaxed while watching some porn. I did adjust it manually by pulling it towards my back to get more pressure on my prostate (Never touched it when it was in before.) I removed the device after about 40 minuets and relubed it again. I used it for about another 40 minutes and decided to finish myself off with a handjob. When I got close to orgasm, the MGX began to quiver. Then as I came, it was drawn deeply into me repeatedly in tune to my spasms of my orgasm. (It was my first SUPER-T - the first two sessions did not yield this result.)

So then came the removal process. I found it a little bit difficult to remove the device. Well- I shouldn't say difficult but it didn't simply want to "pop" out. I was patient and the device did come after a minute or so. There was no blood on the aneros and I felt pretty good. I showered and went to bed.

The next morning I awoke with some unusual feelings in my ass. Kinda like it was sore, but not really. I attributed it to possibly having some residual lube up there. A few minutes later during my daily bowel movement I felt a pain like a pinch. It was brief and it went away. I continued with the evacuation process and wiped up. The first few wipes appeared normal. Just poop. Then on my next to last wipe I looked down and almost fainted! Blood.

The last time I can remember I saw blood in my poop was when I was 15. I had a lot of trouble getting this large piece of poop out. It was like the thickness of a can of red bull. It hurt and there was a little blood.

But back to my story. I finished wiping until it was dry. Then I applied a little pressure with the toilet paper and again came back with blood. So I wiped it up and went on with my day. But I was filled with feelings of remorse and guilt. I felt this terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach and it had nothing to do with the previous night's activities. I was scared, like I may have to go to the hospital and explain myself to my doctor..."umm have you heard of the Aneros..."

I had another BM later that day in the afternoon. I didn't even push. I allowed whatever was in there to come out on its own. When wiping there was no more blood, but the poop in the toilet was releasing a reddish fluid, probably blood.

The next few days I did not try to apply any pressure while pooping. (I normally do.) Everything has been fine and I feel that I am back to normal. It was been 4 days since that horrible day, but all I can think about is when my next aneros session will be....

I am guessing the reason for blood was that the lube dried up inside me (hense the difficulty to remove the MGX) and I possibly tore something. I feel pretty good now and would like to know if there's anything I need to worry about. And how long should I wait until I give it another go?

Side note: I have purchased a small syringe and will "pre-lube" with about 5cc's of lube DIRECTLY INTO MY ASS next time.

I have read the forums for HOURS UPON HOURS looking for an answer. Please don't respond with 'read the wiki'.

    Your replies are appreciated.

First off, it is perfectly understandable to be alarmed by the sight of ones own blood, but that doesn’t mean you need to panic or feel remorse or guilt about activities that may be totally unrelated to the cause of bleeding. Now I am not a doctor but it seems to me the fact you weren’t encountering acute or chronic pain would indicate this is not a serious condition. There are a couple of common conditions I know of that can lead to minor rectal bleeding. One has to do with diet, you may have eaten certain foods that have indigestible parts they can pass through the digestive system and cause minor lacerations of the rectum during defecation (many types of seeds have sharp points that can do this, think caraway or rye seeds, or the hull portion of popcorn can be sharp enough to cut the rectal lining) which will result in minor bleeding. Another cause can be hemorrhoids that may have been temporarily engorged due to Aneros stimulation such that when you performed a bowel movement some minor tearing of rectal tissue may have easily occurred. Regular straining during defecation is known to also aggravate hemorrhoidal conditions and could also be a cause for rectal bleeding. The symptoms as you have described are probably easily healed in a few days time but I would recommend that you give yourself 7-10 days Aneros abstention before trying again. If you have a repeat occurrence of the bleeding incident then I would definitely cease Aneros use and make an appointment with a proctologist to discuss the situation to find what is causing the problem. Also make sure you do not employ manual manipulation of your Aneros device, which is contrary to the manufacturers recommendations and could also be a contributing factor leading to minor rectal tearing. I doubt the lubrication you were using dried-up inside you. You may want to consider performing a rectal flush prior to Aneros usage just to make sure your rectum is free of fecal matter. I am glad to hear you feel you are back to normal, just make sure you give yourself adequate time to heal.

You mentioned feeling a slight pinch with your bowel movement before you noticed the blood. It is possible that during insertion or removal you got a small tear called a fissure in your anal canal. If this is the case, it should heal within one to two weeks, especially if your bowel movements are not large or hard. Just as it is important to have a relaxed anal sphincter when inserting the Aneros, it is also important for it to be relaxed when removing it, as being tight can cause tearing.

Definitely if you continue to have bleeding you need to see your doctor. Although it can be embarrassing to talk about this, remember that doctors are no strangers to such things and are not likely to be judgmental. There is nothing "bad" about using the Aneros.

I noticed one thing you said in your post about having a super-T....
With an Aneros in place, and having contractions from the ejaculation, the Aneros can be pulled very tight into the butt when this is happening. This in its self is not bad, but, you mentioned that you had to pull a bit harder to remove the Aneros afterwards.
Do not remove it until your muscles relax a bit before attempting to remove it. Those muscles have a tendency to clamp tight in some people when having a super-T, me included...

If you force the Aneros out, before your butt is relaxed and is ready, pulling may create a small tear, or fissure as mentioned by rumel and marmot.

You sound like you will be OK, but just wait a bit and start back slow, In my opinion, I would go about 3 weeks, but I'm no doctor, do not go nuts for a while.

You might evaluate your lube also, it sure sounds like you are having trouble staying lubed up.

    Hi pnoman,

You have already gotten great info and suggestions here!

One other thing that came to mind tho . . . a doctor once gave me a "rule of thumb" on anal bleeding; "If the blood is brite red,
it is very local in origin (like a hemorrhoid?) and if it is diluted looking, it is blood from a further away source".

I wouldn't worry as much, if it is brite red in color!

    Hope this helps a little???

That's a good tip Laser and one that I did not know.

Don't forget to not panic if you ate beets the day prior! I did that once.

I would like to say that all is well. I've been to busy to reply but, the blood was temporary. It stopped later that evening. Everything went back to normal the following day. I do have hemorrhoids (internal) and that could have been what was agitated. But that was a dreadful day, let me tell you- it was like walking around with a stone in the pit of your stomach, worrying that something was wrong with you. After a few days passed, all I could think about was lubing up again and giving it another try.

    So I did.

I enema'd, palpitated, lubed externally, massaged digitally, and syringed about a good tablespoonful of ID glide up my bum. Then lubed the helix, kissed it for good luck (just kidding) and stuck it in. I enjoyed a 2 hour session (removing and relubing every 30 - 40 minutes). All went well. A few times felt like I was gonna blow a load, but to no avail.

    The next morning...dun,dun,DUN....

Normal poopage. Wiped blood free. Yay for aneros!

But I have noticed one thing...(please comment on this!)

I notice that after my aneros sessions, the next day I find that I don't wanna 'push' during my bowel movements. I kinda just let the poop slip out. It's like my rectum is too tired to squeeze the last part out. I feel a little soreness internally (not really sore but kind of like muscle fatigue) that lasts for about 24 hours after the session. Is this sensation normal?

That’s great to hear your system is back to normalcy.

After a 2 hour session of repetitive rectal contractions, it is perfectly understandable to have some muscle soreness. I think this will rapidly diminish in time as you continue to develop muscle tone and strength.
It is good that you are not straining to force a bowel movement. Straining can aggravate hemorrhoids. Use of your Aneros massager may have the bonus effect of reducing the occurrence or severity of your hemorrhoidal conditions – see for information on the “Peristal” line of massagers, these are the same as the “Peridise” massagers sold on the Aneros site.

I hope you can continue to enjoy your ongoing journey pain and worry free.

Hey Pnoman, glad you are feeling better. I have some hemorrhoids too so I know what you are talking about. I have I believe 1 internally and another near the anal opening. I used to have some problems with occasional bleeding but since using the Aneros, and Peridise, fish oil, and fiber they are practically non-existant now. I guess I used to practically have IB Syndrome before with perhaps 6 bowel movements a day. Too much spicy food, and caffein. However all the above has made it go away after a year or so and now I only have about 1 or maybe 2 BM's a day. That has really helped the hemorroids too. The tissue actually seems to have shrunk near the anal opening and not be as engorged or irratated since using the Aneros and Peridise.

I did have a shock about 4 days ago. I've had no blood for about 2 years and then one morning...bam a bunch on the toilet paper and in the bowel at the end of the BM movement. That shocked me for awhile and I wondered if I did anything lately such as with the Aneros to irritate it. But then I realized I had eaten a bunch of cheeze dip (queso) the night before. For some reason I've found that often every time I eat this it causes my hemorroids to bleed. I can even eat some jalapenos and not have this problem but for some reason the Rotel and Velveeta cheeze gets me almost every time. I tend to make it almost all Rotel and very little cheeze so it is really spicy. Anyway that went away, and probably won't be back unless I eat something like it again. It was bright red as well - so according to my gastroenterologist it shouldn't be a problem.

So - just as a reminder....really spicy food can be a problem for folks with hemorrhoids. Take care and be gentle with the Aneros too. No quick or forced / extreme movements or any that would put undue pressure on your sensitive insides. Make sure you lube well, and slowly insert / remove. Note, I used to use the syringe and pre-lube internally, but I've learned I only need to lube the Aneros and it works great. If you have a long session just pull it out and add a bit more.

I hope this doesn't happen to you any more just like I hope it doesn't happen to me. It sucks when it does. It looks like something really bad, but I suppose it's really not that bad an issue unless as others mentioned the blood is darker in color which indicates something other than a harmless hemorrhoid.

    Thanks OH!! for your comments.

I think I'm gonna do the fish oil. I used to have an IBS thing going on for several years, and recently it has subsided. But I attribute that to the removal of coffee from my diet. I haven't had any blood since and have had several sessions since then.

Three cheers for no future 'roid flare-ups!!! hip hip HOORAY!

    Hi pnoma,
The fish oil, or Omega 3 is very good for you, but make sure you get some good refined oil to take.

Go to: Marrena has a lot of insight into good Omega 3 oil, and other things a man and woman should take for their orgasmic diet.

There is a lot of members here, that also go over to her site for advice on diet, I think OH!! is one. :D

Marrena also graces us with her wonderful presence from time to time. :D

When you see the blood do you stop? Or do you continue on with your session?

I too had blood a couple times after an aneros session.. scared the shit out of me (no pun inteneded) as I was loose for a couple of days worrying about it.. I think it was a hemmoroid or sumthin as it stopped rather quickly, but I was afraid to exert pressure when going. made me worry about what i was doing.. but I can't wait to try again. Has anybody experienced a white mucosy secretion out of their rear after an aneros session ? it's not the lube but more like cum.

    Hi batman01,

    Welcome to the Forum.

I can't recall anyone reporting on the type of discharge you mentioned coming from your rectum, but it could be some sort of secretion in reaction to the bleeding incident, I would advise you to get some authoritative medical advice on this as soon as possible. It doesn't sound like something you should be experiencing, it could be the result of a low grade infection but in any event it needs to be resolved.
