My own theory of understanding orgasm.
  • Well, I began my journey last September -- 8 months ago. Hard to believe it's been that long but I have had lots of amazing experiences and I have to say this thing has changed my life.

Part of my journey has been just trying to learn and understand as much as possible about what an orgasm actually is. That has been and still is one of my goals and it has been just as much a goal of personal development and learning about myself as it has been a goal of learning about orgasms. I have to say that I have only barely scratched the surface but I think I have put some things together and I just wanted to share this knowledge with others.

From what I can gather, an orgasm is something that both the body and mind does. As we all know there is generally a build up and release. What I have found is that it works like a few other bodily functions and by comparing it to a few other things I think more can be understood about it. Sneezing is one other thing that actually is very similar in how it all physically works. Generally with a sneeze there is also a "build up" and "release." You feel something building and coming on until finally you get the violent involuntary reaction. Another similar action (and I won't go into this any more because it is gross -- but it may be useful to think about on your own) is what happens when something is irritating your stomach. You feel nauseous and it starts building until you have a physical reaction of vomiting.

An orgasm much like these other bodily functions seems to occur in response to something else almost in a "reflex" type way. With a sneeze there is something irritating your nose or sinuses and it usually comes with a "tingling" or tickling type feeling. Like so with an orgasm some stimulation is required. The aneros is really an amazing product because it manages to rub and "tickle" the prostate into building and producing the reflex type physical response of orgasm.

Continuing on I want to state that two somewhat separate events generally happen (although they are very much connected -- and I am not quite sure how).

First is the physical involuntary action that occurs, whether it be ejaculation or the prostate making contractions without ejaculation, or in some cases I have had a hand or foot jerk and I can somehow "feel" that this is an orgasmic sexual release action that my body is doing. Also I want to state that what exactly happens is probably going to be unique for each person. No two people sneeze in the same way and likewise no two people are going to get the exact same physical response to orgasm. One strange (and amazing) thing about the physical event that I haven't figured out is how that there is no ejaculation with the aneros. It is as if that is what the body is trying to but it just doesn't happen. Because it doesn't happen your body gets stuck in a loop of having orgasms occur over and over again.

The other event is the feeling you get from the process. This event is entirely mental and most definitely involves a major release of endorphins. It is generally the event that most people are trying to reach for in having an orgasm. This is also the event that separates an orgasm from a sneeze or other involuntary action. With a sneeze you generally do not have any really intense feelings of pleasure flood your body (although I find it interesting that as a side effect to a certain drug women reported having an orgasm when they sneezed). Personally, I don't care what physical event happens or if anything physical happens at all -- the feeling is what I want. I want to say that as the pleasure endorphins flood the brain the type of pleasure you feel can take many forms. Some people report laughing, crying, intense joy, and usually intense euphoria. I myself have experienced a range of sensations. No matter the form it takes, one thing you can be sure of is that it will feel really good. I am reminded of my description to myself when I first stumbled upon this feeling back when I was really young and before I even knew the word for orgasm -- "A feeling to die for."

This feeling is probably very similar to what some illegal drugs produce but without any of the harmful side effects of withdrawal or brain/body damage. (I have never actually done drugs and don't ever plan to so I don't know just how simular it feels) In fact many people argue that orgasms are good for your body. I find this to be the single most amazing fact about the aneros and it is what I did not believe at first. With the aneros you really can feel intense feelings of euphoria and it be something that is completely natural and not bad or harmful.

The reason I find it necessary to make a distinction between the mental and physical aspect is that it is entirely possible to have the physical action without actually getting the really good feeling and I have personally had this occur. I think the most important step to get the really good feeling and for it to be as good as possible is to be in the right state of mind. A person could write a book about all the things that can help with this, but basically, you probably shouldn't be depressed. You can't be nervous or uneasy about your job in the morning -- or if you are you have to find a way to let it go. You have to be relaxed and at ease. Another thing that I recommend for helping with this is zaneblue's diet -- basically start taking fish oil and try a bit of dark chocolate every day. (although I don't think her diet has been *proven* in any studies It does seem to be based on sound science and it tries to boost certain brain chemicals that no doubt help with orgasms -- plus it's healthy so you can't go wrong). Another thing that really helps are fantasies and mental imagery -- every person is unique so you'll have to find whatever works for you. One thing that helps me and would probably help others is to tells yourself that something big is happening. Try to up the anticipation. Believe that it really will be big and it probably will be.

Also the events are not entirely separate. This is where my knowledge gets really fuzzy but from my personal experiences it seems the physical event seems to trigger the mental bliss. I can say I have personally felt the mental event without any physical reaction and as I mentioned before I have had the physical reaction without feeling any orgasm. While I do believe them to be seperate events, they are connected in a very strong (and unknown to me) way and because of this it is important that both events occur together for the most satisfaction.

Finally keep in mind that what I have presented here is simply my view into what occurs and my own way of sorting all this out. There may be other ways of sorting all of this out and some of them may contradict the way I have chosen to put it. I like to think there is some truth in most or all views -- and I'd be very interested in anything anyone has say to add to (or even contradict) any of this.

Thanks for your detailed description of your feelings and thoughts about your experiences of these phenomena so far binaryguy. I can relate to a good deal of what you say, but have also had very different feelings and thoughts too... more on that later...

Here is a story that does not arise from the erotic, except for the close connection between sex and death, but that really causes one to reflect of our wiring, rewiring, brains and minds:

From my KSMO blog: "The New York Times story on Jill Bolte Taylor, and her happening upon nirvana as a result of a stroke, provides some interesting reflections on the depth of "rewiring" we work toward or stumble upon ourselves with our methods here (KSMO) and at Aneros...

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/25/fashion/25brain.html

Her experiences and descriptions are so much like the early Intellectual Orgasms I experienced and the more recent drops into lucid dreaming and hypnagogia in conjunction with KS erotic and transforming energies."

There is much more here than yet dreamt of in our philosophy...

  • Wow, that's a really amazing story. I have to say the brain really is amazing in what it can produce on it's own. I really once never could of imagined anything like any of that was possible. I feel sorry for the people that use harmful drugs to reach these states.

Rereading my post I think I found something that needs a clarified. I stated that like with a sneeze "with an orgasm some stimulation is required." I probably should have said that differently. It is certainly possible to orgasm without any manual stimulation. I kind of meant that some action to cause it to build and release is required -- whether that action is breathing or whatever it is.

Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts artform.

    Hi binaryfellow & artform,

I really do believe that this Aneros experience almost forces a guy to put more thought into exactly what an orgasm consists of. B.F., that is a great post and hopefully will open up the thought process for some of the newer guys here who might not have thought about it before. My best realization when I started was that the orgasm and ejaculation were two seperate events. They compliment eachother beautifully, but still are two different events. I get overwhelmed with the thought that there are so many guys out there that have no concept of the fun we are having with this exploration or the potential of their own bodies.

    Hi again Buster!

    >I get overwhelmed with the thought that there are so many guys out there that have no concept of the fun we are having with this exploration or the potential of their own bodies.<<br />
I wonder about that too. Having just broken away from a long session of multiples with the final half-hour being one of practically continuous zonal high orgasm I always think about how many other males there might be who can experience the same. - Is there anybody else in my town who can do this? How many in the UK can do it? How many in the world? Does my doctor know that this is possible? Suppose I stopped a fella in the street and told him that he could do multiple orgasms - would he think I was nuts? (probably). More than likely I'd get a fist in my face!

I daresay that many would consider multiple male orgasms to be impossible.

After some five years of KSMO and Aneros practice, with the Zone having become available to me in the last nine months, I think about what I've been missing most of my life.

I feel privileged to belong to our happy band of multi-orgasmic brothers (and sisters, too!).

Maybe each one of us is one-in-a-million!

    Hi binaryfellow!

    >Well, I began my journey last September -- 8 months ago. Hard to believe it's been that long but I have had lots of amazing experiences and I have to say this thing has changed my life.<<br />
Congratulations on your success! And your treatise on orgasm is extremely insightful and interesting.

    > One strange (and amazing) thing about the physical event that I haven't figured out is how that there is no ejaculation with the aneros. It is as if that is what the body is trying to but it just doesn't happen.<<br />
The separating out of the orgasm reflex from the ejaculative reflex seems to be the key to achieving the most enjoyable multiple male orgasms. I can only wonder, like yourself, at how the Aneros practice achieves this. The KSMO practice, however, deliberately sets out to train the mind to accomplish this separation, and it does it supremely effectively without the aid of any physical devices.

    >Because it doesn't happen [ejaculation] your body gets stuck in a loop of having orgasms occur over and over again.<<br />
I love that aphorism! That is a good description of the sensation of continual orgasm (the Zone).

    >….. when I first stumbled upon this feeling back when I was really young and before I even knew the word for orgasm -- "A feeling to die for." <<br />
Er… At my age I wouldn’t wish to think too much about that.

    >The reason I find it necessary to make a distinction between the mental and physical aspect is that it is entirely possible to have the physical action without actually getting the really good feeling and I have personally had this occur.<<br />
That rings a bell with me! There are days when a session can be all that I could wish for and which leave me totally ecstatic and quietly swearing to myself with amazement as I depart the scene of the action. Afterwards, my dazed mind needs some rest, recovery and reflection before I can resume the rest of the day.

But there is sometimes a session which, although orgasms are in full abundance, can be much less satisfying and, in my case leave me afterwards with a feeling of lack of achievement, disappointment and a mild depression.

The main discernible difference seems to me to be associated with the erotic immersion of the mind.

Considering the top-level sensations, the successful sessions are ones in which my mind seems to become readily and effortlessly immersed in erotic thought, of a kind that can be effectively promoted by sexual imagery. This seems to be a missing component of those of my sessions (only rare occasions) that turn out to be disappointing.

What the lower-level causes of these differences could be I would, like you, pick stress and worry as likely culprits. In my case these are not likely as I’m carefree to a fault. Maybe there is some body-cycle effect taking place, maybe the condition of the lower alimentary canal is relevant. The body’s correct chemical balance is probably vital.

But impatience to succeed is known to be a significant and common problem area.

    >Believe that it really will be big and it probably will be.<<br />
Belief and confidence is good – wanting is bad! Trying to jolly one’s progress along the multi-orgasmic trail is fatal!

    >Finally keep in mind that what I have presented here is simply my view into what occurs and my own way of sorting all this out.<<br />
    Mine too!

i call it the "O-zone," like "i'm in the O-zone"

sometimes i have orgasms which are physical only. my body lurches into them, but, there isn't the feeling of bliss. my body still wants very much to do it. weird.

I was responding to your edited “pacifier” comment and to ‘hapticbear’s query “…what if the aneros is the equivalent of every food you've ever tasted all at once?” I believe the “The Everlasting Gobstopper Lollipop” (Aneros) would indeed have mollified Burrough’s talking Ass to a state of perpetual smiles.

Now we need the Aneros Ventriloquist model, perhaps rather like a Duck Call

Buster, maybe this is the breakthrough we need to widely publicize!

Think of the money we could make as the Aneros Ecstatic Male Chorus, if we can orgasm and sound ventriloquially in tune! Not to mention in sync! :?

  • Steady on chaps I don't feel I want my arse breaking out into song just yet .. however ... now I'm thinking does this possible symmetry make facilitating of re-wiring.

There's something I read in Mantak Chia's work about when you contract the PC muscle or at least attempt to tighten the outer anal sphincter your mouth / lip muscles and to a certain extent muscles around nose holes and eye sockets tighten in sympathy.

Ok, we are to my mind re-training or better opening an awareness to our first anal cavity .. what if it mirrors our mouth .. what did the mouth first really enjoy .. sucking on a nipple (real or artificial) .. try mimicking that action with your arse ... you don't even need the Aneros in, just visualise the Aneros as a perfectly shaped nipple for the arse and flex the PC muscle focusing on your anal sphincter as if you are sucking it.

What's the next thing you think about if you are not thinking about sex .. food .. think of all those nerve endings in the mouth devoted to your enjoyment of food, there's a similar bunch of nerve endings in the anal cavity, but most of us never spend effort in training our awareness of what they can enjoy ... go suck that Aneros boys .. and just open to the fact this is as natural an activity as eating.

    Artform!

You are in rare form on this one, lol. Ah yes Louis Pujol. I happened upon a small book on Le Pétomane when I was sixteen years old (which has since been lost). I should add that I gave it wide exposure at my high school back then (including quite a few teachers who declined to confiscate it once they started laughing). No question about it, a singular talent and from all accounts a very sweet man to boot! I remember speaking with a gastroenterologist about the subject some years later (a family friend and a man with a great sense of humor mind you) who was well aware of Le Pétomane. He told me that there had been those who've had this bellows capacity of the rectum and colon. And that there had certainly been those who've had the sphincter control to produce a variety of sounds. But none that had both skills combined with the wit and showmanship to put it all together.

The 50's humorist Lord Buckley once said...humor is the oil of the soul. If so, it follows that in serious times like these that we all could use some lubrication! What the world needs now is a another Le Pétomane! Surely the Aneros has honed the fine motor skills of so many users out there at this point. How about it......are there any of you out there who are up to the task?

Of course there's always that other classic lubricant of the Belle Époque, the Green Fairy ....it's water-based too!, lol.

HB, IMHO we have some good emerging science to begin with:

The whole gut and its external wall and lining, which together have as many neurons as the bone-locked North Brain, thereby forming our South Brain. Dr. Michael D. Gershon, MD, in his book The Second Brain: Your Gut Has a Mind of Its Own has mapped this nervous system, and although he focused on nervous disorders, we Anerosyans can make our own connections with this powerful South Brain. Second Brain at: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=%22Second+Brain%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Borrowing from eastern sexual enegetics, perhaps our prostate is the Southern analogue Pineal Gland and related tissues?

Wonderfully, we are erotically wired through several separate neural pathways including the Pudendal and that happy wanderer, the Vagus.

I agree morphologically about the balls as eyes, but in practice I wonder if functionally they may have some mix of eyes and ears, more an "acoustic" spatial sense. I think of the the Polynesians navigating with their testicles touching the bottom of their canoes (or dangling in the water? http://archaeologica.boardbot.com/viewtopic.php?t=1337&view=previous&sid=263b3880591bb10c8286ca57359dfc2c ) and sensing the minute wave pulses of secondary and tertiary wave motions (swells) in the Pacific waters as waves rebounded from islands or passed between. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1510/is_n72/ai_11256652/pg_1?tag=artBody;col1 They recorded these patterns as maps made of grids of sticks reflecting the wave directions and shells or other articles as the islands.

I've often wondered if canoeists can listen to whale songs in the same manner in an amazing new tactile/acoustic experience?

No contest on the anus as mouth. We are one long 32' tube, folded into our musculo-sketetal case, much of it (the tube) our South Brain, with its own sensory organs and other connections and the opening at each end. The "zipper" lines on the upper lip (North Face) and running from the anus along the perineum to the top of the hood of the vulva, or up the scrotum and underside of the penis to the urethral meatus, are fun to contemplate as we have specialized the original simple big opening at each end of our primal tube! Various lips and nerve complexes, eh?

I also wonder if the prostate, or at least its adjoining rectal wall might be the analogue (non-projectable) tongue receptive of various forms of massage, or is that the perineum? Or since they retract regularly, maybe the balls are the tongue. They are certainly delicate!

Personally, I am more and more convinced that key players for us are our mitochondria in these various organs and throughout our bodies. Synchronized whole body energy pulsing requires their central participation in all the muscles, nerve and related tissues. Here is scientific paper on the mitochondrial pulsing function in the heart muscle: http://www.biophysj.org/cgi/content/full/91/11/4317 The timing of this at the whole-body scale looks like its takes us and them into the microtubule-based quantum entanglement complementary networking that Roger Penrose has proposed and seems to be being found in lab testing currently...

What if part of our mind-brain system is a whole body mitochondrial quantum hive-mind? Our Third Brain? And it is a key to this ecstatic wide range of simultaneous whole-body orgasmic energetics? If I feel these energies "as if" that is true, even if it isn't, does that help amplify my sensations and experience?

This can be fun but we don't need to get hung up on the analogies. Butt, they do tickle the imagination, and that tickles EVERYTHING, if we let our mind/brains/body imagination dance with all these partners!

    joyous dancing bi-brainiacs or tri-brainiacs!

  • The notion of using testicles to navigate has profoundly touched me Artform. I have since my late twenties been fortunate to have experience monthly of beautiful bio-electric buzzing at the underside, back of my balls, about 4 times a year this would, usually in the early morning, grow in strength to such extent that the bio-electric field would envelop me, in the type of bliss consciousness I am now increasingly beginning to attain with Aneros usage on a much more regular basis. The Aneros is perhaps a tiller and rudder to guide the engines of my balls into the stronger currents of where the orgasmic waves are truly manifest.

To lie in bed with my balls envisaged as tuning into some orgasmic ether, instead of detecting the long ocean waves, adrift in the hive mind proto-consciousnesses present in my body, feeling the Aneros ramp up my awareness, guiding me to these islands of ecstatic union ... aaah.

I confess in the past I have reveled in the delights of naked sea immersed masturbation, adrift in the ocean lover, just on the edge of ejaculation, flexing my whole body in the buoyant surf, was I glimpsing then, what I am increasingly being able to resonant with now?
