Just a married man wanting stronger erections during sex

I'm a happily married dad close to 50.
At age 40, the firmness of the erections started to go.
Now, it's hard to stay hard long enough to have a satisfying orgasm.
I have no desire to purchase expensive drugs for this.

I purchased your product a few weeks ago.
I had hoped that using it during sex would give a lasting hard-on.
I read the forums (in detail -- thanks those of you who write in such detail. It helps to figure things out, and better understand.) Anyway, I don't have a lot of time and privacy to invest hours in using this product. However, one night, my wife was out of town, and I tried to follow every detail that was listed.
I really wanted to experience something like I'd read about -- a super orgasm.
    I didn't.
I really didn't feel the pressure or the pleasure on the prostrate at all.
Eventually, I went to sleep, with it still in.

This morning, I tried it again, and still felt very little.
I kept it in, quietly went to the bathroom, and jerked off while standing up.
    The extra sensation was nice.

But here's what I would like to know --
Is this something that works during intercourse to enhance the firmness of erections? Or is it primarily something that guys use for the long solo performances I've been reading about?

I have yet to bring up my new purchase to my wife at this point, and am not really sure how I will.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

No doubt about it, the Aneros can be used right out of the box for the enhancement of "traditional" sexual encounters, i.e. oral, intercourse etc. Most who have used it in this way have reported experiences of higher intensity and orgasms of a greater order of magnitude. Will it help with erectile difficulties? I think you'll have to try it out for yourself to find that out. To my recollection there really hasn't been any definitive answer on this. Some have said it helped them a great deal in this regard while others were more lukewarm.

In any event, I believe that you'll stand a greater chance of success by continuing your solo experimentation first. If you can get a session or two more under you belt yielding some good sensations, this will benefit you to no end when it comes to using it with your wife.

In so far as making that "introduction", frankly, I think you'll have an easier time with it than some others here, in that you can say that you're using the Aneros for a performance issue. Seriously, tell her that you're trying to work on a "drug-free" solution to this problem. Tell her that this device was designed by a Japanese urologist (you can even let her check out ) . This is a health oriented site operated by the manufacturers of the Aneros (note the product names are different there....) By the way, they have their own forum over there where there are likely postings on the topic of E.D., check it out!

With respect to the "non-ejaculatory" experience (Super O) that you've read of, this normally takes time and patience to discover. Such experimentation is best done alone. If you are successful in broaching this subject with your wife, you might tell her that "exercising" with the Aneros is highly recommended. That way you might be able to get in some solo time in without waiting for the out of town trips.

I sometimes have had difficulty maintaining an erection during sex while using a condom (due to diminished sensitivity, or if I get close to orgasming and choose to "hold off" in order to prolong the sex). Since I started using the Aneros during sex with my girlfriend a couple of months ago, I've found that it really helps keep the erections for a long time. The extra anal/prostate stimulation helps shift my focus -- maybe it's just a mental thing, but for me it's a dramatic difference.

Many of the responses talke about being willing to take time.
That is so true with everything.
    It is also true here.
For the past several mornings, I have used the aneros.
I usually wake up early and can't go back to sleep, so I slip it in. One morning when it was time to get up, I kept it in, took a shower with it in, and had a strong orgasm (through masturbation).
This morning, similar routine, but stayed in bed, masturbated to a very strong orgasm, producing more cum than I'd seen in many years.
So yes, I'm another man who says give it time.
I haven't experienced a hands free orgasm yet, but I'm very willing to work and wait and see.

    My question --
So many men today are having to face prostrate cancer.
My knowledge of all this is very limited.
I know we guys would prefer to have an orgasm daily (if not more often than that). I know I physically ache when it's been too long in having an orgasm.
Is it the buildup of semen that leads to prostrate problems?
Do men who have regular (daily) orgasms have healthier prostrates?
Apart from the stronger orgasm, may I assume that my prostrate will be healthier by regularly using the aneros?
I'd appreciate a response from those who have knowledge about this.

With respect to prostate cancer and regular ejaculation, the verdict is still out on this one. However in one Australian study done in 2003, it was found that men who reported ejaculating 5 or more time per week when they were in their 20's were one third less likely to develop prostate cancer later in life. It was also significant for men between the ages of 30 and 50 (but less than in the younger group).

What does this mean? If you're to believe this study....start pounding off early and never stop! This gives new meaning to that old adage of use it or lose it!

Now with respect to the Aneros, although there is NO study that has been done on this, one might argue that the Aneros is capable of producing a more intense and voluminous, more hearty ejaculation. Who knows! Maybe we can enlist some users in the forum to check this one out.

In terms of the impact of ejaculation on general health, frankly it depends on who you're talking to. A good number of holistic practicioners would tell you that regular ejaculation is essential to well-being. While others (Taoists), believe in the retention of ejaculate as a means of conserving ones life-force. Allopathic or traditional medicine has been all over the board on this one. In the first part of the twentieth century they were, for the most part, in favor of regular ejaculation...even to the extent of offering prostate massage as the principle source of treatment for prostatitis....with the advent of antibiotics, this fell into disfavor in the 50's. Recently, it seems that there is some attention once again toward encouraging regular ejaculation (and even prostate massage in some cases).

Different cultures have different ideas on this as well. As you may know, the Japanese and other Eastern societies have centuries old traditions regarding regular ejaculation as a means of maintaining health.

Well, I finally told my wife about wanting and needing to try the Aneros MXG.Several of the things I've read in the Forum were helpful to use in our discussion/introduction, since products like these have never been a part of our relationship.
We waited for a good time, when our time together could be long and relaxing.
    It was.
However, I was disappointed with the MXG.
My purpose in purchasing the Aneros was to produce a firmer erection when having intercourse.
During sex, it provided sensation in and around where it was inserted, but my erection still was lacking.
After quite a whille, I took it out, and we still enjoyed ourselves.
Later on, I tried it again, with the same disappointing results.
At this point, I'm assuming I need a design that goes deeper for more penetration.
I have no desire to purchase every variety of Aneros that is made, unless the company wants to send me each as a way to do appreciative market research.
    So here's my question --
Any guys out there using the product for the same reason, to get and maintain erections during sex?
If so, which design works best for you?

Thanks in advance for your response.

    I ordered the Helix.
I hope that the larger size and different shape provide faster and stronger results than the MGX.
    I'll keep you posted.

    Got the Helix.
    Have tried it twice.
I was hoping that the extra length and differnt size would be more powerful, and produce a more immediate reaction -- it seems that's what I read more than once in the product reviews and description.
    I'm disappointed.
And with having already purchased two aneros separately, the MGX and the Helix, I don't see spending the money to purchase the third, even though the Maximus or the Eupho both look like they "might" do the trick.

I own all four. Don't go the Eupho route for what you're wanting. The Maximus is the best for that, followed by the MGX.

For me, solo is best with the Eupho or Maximus. Regular sex (intercourse or blowjob) is best with the MGX or Maximus, with a nod in favor of the Maximus.

For whatever reason, it seems like it's very hard to hit my prostate. With any of the devices, I have to contract very hard to really stimulate it. The Eupho moves enough to make up for it's smaller size, but the Maximus hits that spot more easily than any of the others.

I hate to suggest it, since you've already spent $$$ on the other models, but I'd get a Maximus. Besides, as you continue to use these devices, you may find that your muscles strengthen and they all provide some useful stimulation. I've certainly found that to be the case.

For me, the Maximus makes takes a long, slow handjob or blowjob and kicks them up a notch. Also, my wife doesn't have to work so hard to deliver a mind-numbing blowjob. Without "my toy" oral sex takes much longer to bring me to climax, and requires diligent and nonstop stimulation. With it, the time can be reduced to a fraction of what it normally takes (if we so desire) and the results are even better. If we combine the toy with a long session...I'll wake up the neighbor's neighbors. :)
