On The Threshold and Aftershocks

Sorry for the duplicate thread my e-mail is doing strange things.

I've had my Aneros for about 6 weeks and starting to catch sight of the big "O" but it seems to be just out of reach. After insertion, I can get to the small anal orgasms pretty quickly and I can feel myself building nicely to the whole body orgams. But, it seems that just before it occurs I get an involuntary contraction which interrupts it or chokes it off and then I need to sort of recycle back to a a fully relaxed state. I believe I'm on the right track but it's a little frustrating. Hasa anyone else experienced the same sort of "breakpoint"?

Also, I've noticed that after using the Aneros I get continuous stream of little aftershocks or pleasurable sensation for about the next 2 to 4 hrs.

    Jerry,

Indeed it sounds as if you are very close. I’m not aware of the “break point” that you described, but it does seems as if you need something to push you over the top. One question I have is; are you maintaining proper positioning of the abutment tab during the little anal orgasms? It is crucial that you do so. When the tab is in the optimum position it sets up a sensory feedback loop that is essential to the generating the Super O.

A couple other things to try: incorporate the sensations from your anus with sensations from your abdomen with “vibratory breathing. Such breathing also stimulates your anus and rectum (just try breathing in as if you were sobbing). Try RECTAL contractions while you’re having your anal orgasms. A rectal contraction can best be described by the sensation of “bearing down” as if you’re pushing outward. Try all of these things alone or in conjunction with one another (while you’re having the anal orgasms). Remember to maintain placement of the tab. If you’re not sure of how to find proper placement or how to maintain, let me know.

    Keep at it!

    B Mayfield

P.S. The aftershocks are good sign too!

    Jerry,

I've run into the same problem with large involuntary contractions just as I'm getting close to an orgasm.

I found that it helps if I intentionally do several large contractions at the very beginning, before starting to work (that's the wrong word) toward an anal orgasm. The large contractions seem to desensitize whatever is triggering the large involuntary contraction.

It also seems that I'm more likely to have an involuntary contraction if I lose focus on whatever's helping me along (sexual fantasies, prostate sensations, etc.). A dark, quiet room helps me to keep focused.

Also, as B Mayfield & others have noted, *any* stimulation of the penis gets me off track. I haven't found a good way to keep my penis from flopping around and getting stimulated unintentionally, but I've started trying other positions (like kneeling) that might minimize the problem.

Finally, like you, I've noticed the pleasurable feelings and occasional aftershocks. They're a nice reminder of what might happen next time.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
    Jay
