Anyone else feel fed up after ejaculation?

    That's…quite the question, there.
Intercourse, masturbation — whatever method, there's an odd feeling shortly after.  Prior to University, it'd feel great. This soothing feeling would calm me down. Now, though, it's this feeling of regret and guilt pounding away. It's odd! Does anyone else experience this? It's one of the reasons I'm afraid to actually let it happen.

My ejaculations are just as satisfying as my prostate based orgasms. I don't feel particularly tired or drained after I ejaculate. One has to have balance between the two types of orgasms. Most guys tend to disregard their penises, after discovering the prostatic based orgasm (JMO). Perhaps you are causing yourself unnecessary angst. Perhaps you should ejaculate more, but without the guilt. My ejaculations are more satisfying, since I have been rewired. Then again, everyone is different. Find your point of balance, and you will be fine.

Never "fed up" if the shot was deep inside a wet & warm vagina.

My sentiments exactly! That is the proper place for the shot.

As a confirmed bachelor in recent years before I discovered the delights of Anerosing, I too experienced a terrible letdown after ejaculation. But now the Aneros has taught me much about sexual pleasure which goes far beyond this type of letdown.

However, I salute all married guys who have supportive wives in their Aneros journey.

Perhaps you've been reading Tao-ist ideas on retention etc and you've come to value your sperm more?

Is it truly ancient wisdom or just superstition?

I've found that I've started to produce less ejaculate on the rare time I do ejaculate. I don't really mind, I think it might even be a good thing(at least if there's any wisdom in it at all)coz then there's less of that special lifeforce energy wasted in producing sperm. That said, my orgasms with the Aneros in the days after I've ejaculated are much better....

Again, I don't really know if there's anything to this taoist knowledge, but ejaculation retention for at least a month is recommended for sperm breathing. I ejaculated more than a week ago and I can definitely tell the difference in the strength of my sperm energy. Before ejaculating I'd retained for at least a month and it was very powerful, within minutes I'd have a steady stream of cold sperm energy flowing to my crown...
So perhaps whatever energy goes into making new sperm can be applied in a different way thru retention?

Regardless, my ejaculations now since I've rewired are much better and more intense, but I can relate to what you wrote coz it's inevitable that what you gain on the one hand you lose on the other

I too thought semen retention was important, but now I think it's more important to just pay attention to what your body tells you. I've decided to stop looking up porn again, since it overrides the body's natural buildup of arousal. But as long as you don't masturbate to the point of wearing yourself out, it doesn't really have as much of an effect as I thought it had.

After great sex with my wife it's a wonderful afterglow.  That same feeling after I've gotten selfish and masturbated suspecting she might have wanted to be in on some sexual activity makes me feel down. That's why I always try to make sure "self play" comes when I've given her "first dibs" and I know she's not "in the mood".  Then it's just an "okay" release to get me through to the next time I can hope to share it with her.  But this perspective just comes from an older married traditional kind of guy.
