Milking the prostate
  • I'd appreciate some advice, links or info regarding prostate milking. Currently I own the Eupho Syn and get superb, multiple dry o's. Occasionally I'll have a hands free wet orgasm, but my understanding is that milking is different. If I were to get a larger massager, such as the Progasm Jr. or Progasm, would a larger massager make a difference?

    OneEyedWillie,
While the term prostate "massage” and prostate "milking” are often used interchangeably, I believe there is a distinct difference we can identify. Prostate “massage” is the act of stimulating/manipulating the prostate gland for pleasure or medical purposes, it may or may not lead to release of fluids or cause an orgasm. Prostate “milking” is the release of fluids as a direct result of prostate “massage”. The Aneros devices are prostate "massagers”, they may or may not be used as “milking” devices depending on the individuals involved.

Self “milking” with the Aneros via ‘hands free’ manipulation is difficult as one usually needs to be very relaxed for the ejaculatory ducts to open and allow the fluids to flow out of the prostate. The stronger, more vigorous, muscular contractions needed to effectively move the massager create a level of tension which is antithetical to the relaxation of the gland ducts. It is possible to train the various muscle groups to simultaneously relax and contract to accomplish a “milking” but it will take practice. It is unnecessary to employ strong muscle contractions with your Aneros use as a “massager” to generate orgasmic feelings, hence you can employ it for many hours without triggering a “milking” response.

'Milking' your prostate of seminal fluids can be learned. You can read a short paragraph about Prostate Milking in the “Your Body” chapter of the Aneros WIKI. You can read a longer treatise on prostate milking technique and issues from Lady Lubyanka. There is also a well written blog by Andr. titled HOW TO MILK A BULL which gives step by step descriptions of the process.

My own experience has revealed the conditions need to be 'right' to accomplish a true "milking" using your Aneros and without using your hand to manipulate the massager. Generally, you need to be highly aroused, your prostate needs to be full and engorged due to arousal (an erect penis from edging is helpful but not mandatory). You should be on the high excitement plateau just before reaching the PONR (Point of No Return), then using your sphincter and PC muscles start performing very strong, rhythmic, slow paced contractions with total relaxation between contractions. It is important to maintain your arousal level, through penile stimulation if necessary, but don't take yourself to the point of ejaculatory inevitability (PONR). This may take a long time and be somewhat strenuous but you will eventually get the ejaculatory ducts to open and the drip, drip, drip of prostatic fluid. The process may not yield much fluid nor be intensely pleasurable in relationship to the amount of energy expended, it can be done, but Aneros devices (regardless of model or size) may not be the best tools for this particular activity. The best tool I've found for performing a real self "milking" is the Njoy 'Pure Wand'. I suspect having a professional masseuse do this would be much more pleasant as you could really just relax into the pleasurable release to be had.

  • Rumel, thanks for the detailed explanation! You confirmed most of what I thought about the idea and process of milking.

    Rumel,
How is the Njoy pure wand for regular use for prostate orgasms.
I assume from looking at it that you have to manually move it rather than rely on your anal and sphincter muscles
  • @didymus
The larger end stimulates the prostate more, because of its size. It is also not a hands free toy.

    didymus,

Yes, you are correct, the 'Pure Wand' does require manual manipulation. As such it is a decidedly different experience from using an Aneros for prostate stimulation.

Some years ago (pre-Aneros), I learned how to have non-ejaculatory multiple orgasms (books have been written about various techniques for ages).  One time, while in the shower after a dry multi-o session, I decided to masturbate a little in the traditional manner, but did so very slowly, just to see how much I could prolong the gentle pleasurable feelings.  By paying close attention to all sensations and particularly focusing on relaxing everything in my abdomen, I found I could precisely control my arousal level and keep it relatively low and steady for an extended time.  Then, at one point, it felt as if some valve opened, and semen just started pouring out, gradually and steadily, without any contractions, squirting, or spasms, and without any direct prostatic or anal stimulation.  What's best, I did not feel at all refractory afterwards as I would have after a traditional spasmodic ejaculatory climax, so my libido remained high, I felt energized, I did not feel like resting or sleeping, and I could resume further sexual activity whenever I wished.  As time went on, I found that I could consistently repeat this exercise after any dry multi-o session.  It would therefore seem that, at least for me, it is possible to effectively milk my prostate without stimulating it directly.

    @Thruster,

You speak as if in the past. It sounds like a wonderful ability to have!

Are you still able to do this type of exercise and, if so, how often?

Still current, not just past, about once a month for a fluid change.  I can also do it with my wife -- ride the edge 'til the ducts open, with little or no contractions, convulsions, or spasms, but only after I've helped her through a bunch of her own orgasms and she can stay relatively still so I can control my state without being thrown over the edge.  Afterwards, I'm less refractory than after spasmodic ejaculations.  I never liked the spasms.  My wife wanted me to have the traditional orgasms believing that they were the pinnacle of my enjoyment, but in reality, they were too harsh and left me wiped out and useless for the rest of the day, sometimes longer.  Took some explaining, but we're good now.

That was all pre-Aneros, after much kegelling to delay ejaculation, without any tools, having read some books many years ago in the "new age" genre with tantric practices watered down for western consumption.  I've only had the devices a few days and am eager to see where they'll take me and us!

    @Thruster,
I am truly in awe of your ability to do this. (Actually, I think I am slightly jealous since I am now 75 and probably a bit too old to teach my body how to do it)!

I am also reminded of a thread posted by @JMay in July last year, in which he described in some detail a process by which he is able to induce multiple orgasms by controlling his PC, BC muscles and what he terms his 'bladder sphincter', in a certain way that also had references to Tantric practice. (That thread became so long by November that it extended to two pages and I now find that I cannot access the first page of it (Apple Mac problem))?!

It was titled "The Key to sexual stimulation freedom (i.e. no risk of ejaculation and still get the cookie)".

I believe that his technique has a great deal in common with yours and I think you might find it interesting to read his thread if you can access it.

I would love to be able to master either of his your your techniques!

Thruster, I can do that too, release a slow stream of cum by edging. It feels wonderful and does keep me aroused. It took some practice edging, Pommie, but I'm 67yo so you're not too old. I do this while riding and orgasming for a hour or more. I feel like I'm balancing the urge to ejaculate with the intense orgasming sensations. I just had to learn what my triggers my ejaculation and relax or stop edging. Jmay also taught me this. I was wondering if this release of precum and cum and whatever can substitute for milking and prevent blue balls?

In searching the web on prostate milking I stumbled on the link below, which I found interesting in a couple of ways.
First a caution, it is on a porn website so for those of you who are wanting to avoid porn (which includes me) I suggest that you click on full screen so all the sub screens which are all porn related, are no longer visible.
The video is of a young man conducting a prostate milking using a Backnobber II (which is a highly rated tool for non-erotic massage for sale on Amazon for about $30). I assume prior to doing the milking he edged himself to arousal.  It is interesting to see how much he was able to milk himself.
Another caution is that he ends up his session with masturbation, which from my point of view defeats the purpose of milking as a way to avoid the refractory period that follow masturbation to orgasm, but each to his own- The first 10 minutes or so show him milking - it is a little repetative.
I have ordered a Backnobber II and will compare how it is to the nJoy Pure Wand to use for prostate milking.  Because of its non-erotic purpose it would be easy to take on trips without anyone wondering about it. (on 30 pages of 5 star reviews on Amazon there is but 1 reviewer who talks about using it for prostate massage)
    Anyway here is the site
If anyone has experience with it I would be interested to hear about it.

@xtimedt69 I agree - at times he looks like he may hurt himself and then other times it appears that he is sliding the device up and down  without force- everything I have read about the prostate is that one should use the same pressure as you would if you were rubbing your eye - don't know if that is true or not

  • @didymus
Lol. Don't believe everything you read. When I milk my prostate, it involves way more pressure, than when I rub my eye. Light pressure will not yield a true milking.

Firm steady pressure. But I'm never sore.

@pspotsquiter How often do you milk? And do you edge right before milking?
  • @diddymus

About 2-3 times a month. No I do not edge.

    @euphemistic,
Thank you for your words of encouragement.

I took up edging following @JMay's thread and do it quite regularly now. I began (in true Tantric fashion) by working up to about half an hour each day, but found it was becoming almost a chore! (Can you believe that)?

I have now cut back to 10 or 15 minutes a day on most days, occasionally going on a bit longer if I find I don't want to stop. Still feel the ability to milk the prostate is eluding me at this stage but I doubt I would ever go to the (apparent) extreme that the fellow in @didymus's video seems to.

IMO, the methods suggested by you, @JMay and @Thruster would be much more pleasurable and would love to be able to follow suit.

I have come to the conclusion that milking and using dildos and other insertables is almost more pleasurable than just using the Aneros alone :(  I love the feeling and satisfaction of milking cum out of my prostate, and I can't get as much out with the automatic reflex movements of the Aneros.  I know the Aneros very well, about 10 years now, and have gotten some milk out while using it hands free.  But, being able to manipulate the head of a dildo directly on my prostate, and being able to slide it across it with varying amounts of pressure and speed, helps me feel more satisfied.  Don't get me wrong, the Aneros alone does magical wonders for me and I wouldn't trade those for anything.  But in terms of pure milking the P, I stand strongly in support of an insertable that has to be moved by hand.  This backnobber looks very promising in that you don't have to reach around and bend to the side (I can't get as good contact/movement if I hold it between my legs) and being able to have such a long handle makes me want one very badly now!!!

I know there are health benefits to milking the prostate.  If there weren't, it wouldn't feel so good to have something in your ass moving against it, and the fact that cum comes out from the massaging action may have something inherently related to the evolution of human males as a species (where anal penetration meant relieved stress and discomfort, and also draining the gland as a way of health). Its possible that human males need to be drained in this way, and this way alone, where normal coitus does not fully evacuate the semen completely.  I get types of cum oozing out of me during milking that I never get out during sex, and I cum copious amounts all over my wife, shooting huge streams on her face and hair and torso when pulling out (she loves it).  But the cum from milking, totally different.  It feels relieving when it passes through and out, like something just happened that needed to happen.

Makes me want to milk now!  This thread is a good one ;)

A first report on the Backnobber II. It arrived today.
The tool is a very viable alternative to the nJoy Pure Wand.
I tried it for 5 minutes and it released some fluid from the prostate - it was not nearly as smooth as the Pure Wand (plastic vs. stainless steel) - see negatives below

    The positives:
Cost is less than 50% of the nJoy Pure Wand
It is light and very easy to use and induces milking.
It is sturdy enough that I do not think there is any risk of it breaking it while Prostate milking.
It does not require force to use - the prostate needs to be treated gently
It has two different size knobs - both sizes work just fine for me.
The tool is great for general massage (Back, neck etc.) - you could leave it laying about and your kids or friends will not be looking at you strangely

    The negatives:
It was not designed for Prostate milking so the finish is not what you would get with an Aneros product and definitely not as silky smooth as the PureWand. There are some visible edges from the molding process on the ends of the tool.
The largest knob is not as large as the large end of the Pure wand but that is not a problem for me as the large end was too large for me

If you get one I would recommend buying some very fine grit sandpaper (1000 or higher if you can find it - you could probably use as low as 600 and still get a smooth finish) and soak the sandpaper in water prior to using it. Carefully sand the rough edges. This should sufficiently smooth the rough edges. And of course use plenty of lube when you come to use it.
If anyone else has one of gets one I would appreciate hearing about your experience.

  • @didymus
You could have bought a Mr. Swirly Dildo for $20.00 USD. A Backnobber II is really not a viable alternative to a Pure Wand. Njoys have no rough edges. There is a lot of truth in what @techpump said. Why would you stick something up your ass, that you have to sandpaper?
  • didymusdidymus
    Posts: 101
@pspot, I have just finished smoothing the backnobber with 1000 grit sandpaper and it is as smooth as glass and feels good - no more rough edges.  But nothing will ever feel as smooth as stainless steel including Aneros tools.
I have both the Pure Wand and the Backnobber and expect use both to good effect.

I did not see where @techpump said anything about  sandpapering something - I guess I missed something. Besides if you smooth something like plastic with 1000 grit paper is more a case of smoothing than sandpapering.

The swirly does not offer the ease of manipulation that either the Pure wand and Backnobber offer.  You should stick with what works for you and I will stick with what works for me

  • @didymus
Mr. Swirly gives a more thorough and intense milking than a Pure Wand.

I think Pspot was just saying he agreed with me, sans sandpaper ;)

didymus, I just realized I've had the nJoy Fun Wand for a few years now and it is the best!  I forgot all about that thing, it has milked more from my prostate than any other toy I've ever used (I've literally tried about 20).  I need to get back on that thing, and soon!  But, I still might try the backnobber, it looks like it has some ease-of-use benefits

@techpump, if you use the large end of the Pure Wand you will find that even the large end of the Backnobber is not sufficient size for you. It works well for me because it is larger than the small end of the wand which is the only size I can use right now.
  • @didymus
Once you are able receive the larger end of the Pure Wand, you will enjoy it more. As it will stimulate more of your prostate. The smaller end is rather uncomfortable, for me at least.

@xtimedt69 I have both the Pure Wand and the Backnobber II ($30 from Amazon)- see my post above about it - both work fine - I will continue to use both - the Pure Wand is a work of art but at times is heavy. the BK II is much lighter and easier to use while standing.  What I like about each of them is the curve on each of them which makes them different from a dildo.
Some one above also talked about the Swirly dildo which is made of glass - the look of it did not appeal to me but that is just a personal preference

The Pure Wand is cheaper than a Vice.

I love Aneros models, but I bought a Nexus Titus knockoff to see what it was like. I was using that last night and not much was happening (I had already tried maximus and Helix Syn) it was just one of those night the ole Prostate was not in the mood. So I decided to take it out, as I started to remove it, I got a wonderful feeling, so I slid it back in ... another wonderful feeling. So I slowly repeated the motions and each time it felt better and better.  It was also getting tighter as I felt my Prostate swelling up, and my dick was getting hard. Then all of a sudden I was overcome by a rush of pleasure and out came a shot of pre-cum.

I kept it up for about 15 minutes and it felt awesome, then I had to stop because of an uninvited guest to the party.

Was this milking or had I started the beginning of a prostate orgasm????

IMO. You should try a Mr. Swirly Dildo. It can be had for about $20.00 USD. I have one in my arsenal. You can get a good prostate milking from it. Perhaps you had a prostate based orgasm.

@muscleman65 @Pspotsquirter In the last six weeks I have bought .... nuttslings, cockslings, ball stretchers (there is a thread on this, they enhance the Prostate experience believe it or not) and 3 prostate massagers.

Damn she is not a shoe freak!!!!! Plus she has ONE rabbit vibe she uses, it is her only toy and she has no interest in any other .... However she does like the "Bent" ball stretcher because is makes the boys bang against her and man she likes that.

But now my head is Swirling Mr. .... I may have to endure the wrath of the Mrs. She mostly gives me amused looks and then goes on about her business.

Also she and her sisters own a business, she has an accountants type of approach to money, so she has to know where every penny goes and have a receipt and file it in the appropriate places.
