New Here/First Time User - Product Suggestions?
  • Hi guys.  New here, and have never used Aneros or any other sex toy like it before.  I'm a 23-year-old male and I'm looking for some suggestions on what I should purchase for my first time using one of these.

The only issue is that when I was 16, I had 2 surgeries to have my colon removed due to Ulcerative Colitis.  I have what is known as a "J-Pouch" instead of a normal colon.  So basically, it's really tight down there and I want to start off with the smallest product possible so I don't hurt myself.  Any recommendations?

    steelguitar,

    Welcome to the Aneros Forums,

First, I hope you have checked with your doctor to assure yourself that you can have penetrative anal play without pain or injury. Assuming you have his clearance for such activity, you may wish to consider first purchasing an Aneros TEMPO, whilst this is not a prostate massager per se, it is certainly small enough not to cause any discomfort while at the same time getting you stimulated into anal play sensations. It's insertable length is 3.75" which is actually 1/4" longer than the SGX model so it may also provide some prostate stimulation. In lieu of that model you may wish to consider the smallest Aneros model, the SGX 'Classic' (insertable length 3.5"), this is likely to be the most easily insertable model of the massager lineup. However, if you are of larger physical stature, then the slightly longer MGX 'Classic' (insertable length 4") may be appropriate.
If you are particularly sensitive in your perineum area and can tolerate a little more anal dilation then the Helix 'SYN' (insertable length 4") could be a very good choice as well for your initial model.
You may wish to read the thread The Best Aneros model is... for more information regarding the various models.

Great suggestions. You might also look at the Syn Eupho. It is also one of the smaller models. I have a large prostate and the smaller models work well for me as well - don't underestimate them! Big is not necessary.

  • @Xileh I have to agree with that. The Eupho Syn is tiny, but it gives very nice sensations. I keep all my tension down there so I don't show anything phisically. Basically what I'm saying is that I think I understand your concern. The Eupho Syn is very small, and it might work well for you. The Helix Syn isn't very big either. I like it. Its a great starter model. But, for you, I think the Eupho Syn is what I'd buy. Personal opinion, of course.
