No Fluid. Normal?
  • Hey guys quick question- I've been using the MGX and the Helix for about a year now...consistently for about 2-3 months. I originally bought the MGX, then purchased the Helix with the understanding that the latter was a bit more aggressive. I seem to have gravitated back to the MGX for most of my sessions since for me it's easier to insert, and I seem to feel it more than with the helix.

So far I have not had any prostatic fluid expelled during use, and I am wondering if that is normal. I dont experience any erections when using either, but im not sure if that matters. I am using the massager for general prostate health, and have noticed some great results after suffering from chronic prostatitis for quite some time. Just wanted to see if there were others that don't expell any fluid during their sessions.

    Thanks for the help!

Human beings are incredibly behaviorally diverse creatures, the range of what constitutes "normal" is actually pretty amazing. That being said, normal use of the Aneros massagers may not cause substantive prostate drainage for many men. Now I'm not a doctor, but it seems to me there are a couple of factors which can affect drainage.
1.) You may not be relaxed enough for the ejaculatory ducts to fully open and allow drainage to occur.
2.) The gentle pressure applied by your Aneros during use may not be sufficient to move the prostatic fluid past those duct valves.
3.) There may not be enough semen/prostatic fluid pressure to start the process (this would be especially evident within 24 hrs. of a previous ejaculation).

In any event, you acknowledge the beneficial effects your Aneros use has already bestowed upon you, so just relax, you're well within the range for "normal". If it's any consolation to you, I rarely produce any precum or prostatic emissions as a result of regular Aneros use. It is possible to milk the prostate with an Aneros but it is not the best tool for that purpose.

'Milking' your prostate of seminal fluids can be learned. You can read a short paragraph about Prostate Milking in the “Your Body” chapter of the Aneros WIKI. You can read a longer treatise on prostate milking technique and issues from Lady Lubyanka. There is also a well written blog by Andr. titled HOW TO MILK A BULL which gives step by step descriptions of the process.

  • Rumel,

Thank you for the comment! I will certainly check out the links you mentioned. It may be a relaxation thing with me, so I will keep at it and see what happens!
