Peridise results with females? Unisex=Uniresults?
  • Hi Everyone,

This is my first actual post, but I have been a long time reader, this forum has been an incredible resource. I could not imagine this product's success without this, the wiki, and most importantly the group of kind, open, inspiring contributors that have made it all possible.

A quick background to lead to the reason of my inquiry (if you would like to skip this part, please feel free to scroll down to the boldly marked Question at the bottom)

I have owned my Helix for a couple months now. It has been a tremendous journey so far, I have not achieved the super-o yet, but I have learned that this is not just about the result, but this process of self discovery and inner awakening that I have been able to learn more and more about each session. (But I will save those stories for separate posts)

I'm my mid-twenties and in one of my best relationships. Saving the melodrama, with the strong bond and open flow of conversation between the two of us, my girlfriend and I have been each other's wing-men through our life's obstacles and pleasures. And because of this, I believe she (as well as all females) deserve the opportunity ride shot-gun on this road trip into the experiences brought on by something such as the aneros.

Her and I both take SSRI's for bi-polar and anxiety respectively, and share the common side effect of trouble achieving orgasm. In fact it is to my understanding (piecing together her descriptions of sensation, viewing her reaction to various types of stimulation, and stories of past experiences) that she is pre-orgasmic. But the life changing benefits of the medications supersedes the extra work it now takes to climb to the top of orgasm mountain, and we have found a whole new definition in sexual satisfaction that doesnt necessarily surround traditional orgasm.

Our sexual histories differ greatly. I consider myself decently educated and experienced here, having had a moderate amount of partners, most having been from some form of a happy relationship, covering most the bases with pretty much all positive results. But her few times were either intoxicated hook ups, or with apathetic partners. So it has been an absolute pleasure to be able to be the one to share her discovery of the other caring, passionate, and fulfilling side of the spectrum that everyone fully deserves to experience.

I purchased my Aneros at the same time that she also purchased her first vibrator. Both of us discussing our experiences along the way. She was enjoying mild success with her toy, but was fascinated with the journey that I was embarking on with my Helix. I mentioned that Aneros makes something called the Peridise that is unisex, and she eagerly agreed that it could be a great bonding device between us to simultaneously explore its benefits, like a new form of partnered tantric meditative exercises.

But before investing in multiple Peridises, I wanted to know what to expect, and what others experiences have been with it, especially in the female population. I'm not expecting to gift her first orgasm with this, that she will discover and achieve herself eventually, but I would love for her to be able to experience what I have so far with my helix.

Question: Besides enhancing orgasms from other forms of stimulation, have any females had similar experiences with the Peridise that many of the male members here have had with their other Aneros products? Even sans prostate since it uses the peristaltic response (The milestones? rewiring? super-o? etc?) I have done quite a deal of searching for reviews from females online and have only found it to be used to supplement other forms of stimulation, rather than focusing on the idea that using an Aneros is a catalyst to a awakening journey. Even if there is not a female member here that has an experience to share, any type of information or other directions to look would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you so much,
    t
  • And if there is already a post in the forums that covers this, my apologies, I just was not able to find it using the advanced search above. If you could pass the link along that would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    timeandtide,

Welcome to the Aneros Forums, I think it's great that you have invited your girlfriend to join you on this adventurous journey. I believe that openness of communication, which you seemed to have established, will create strong emotional bonds to weather the inevitable squalls we encounter on our life journeys. Numerous men have integrated their Aneros use into their partnered relationships. The extent to which each does so is as individual as you are. Aneros use is mostly about pleasure, so whatever way you use it to increase your level of pleasure is your choice.
[QUOTE=timeandtide;47405]... before investing in multiple Peridises, I wanted to know what to expect, and what others experiences have been with it, especially in the female population. The Peridise is an excellent tool to introduce a newbie (male or female) to anal play as it is rather diminutive and non-threatening, Don't expect to receive major stimulative sensations, most veteran Aneros users have become accustomed to the subtle, low level, gentle stimulation these massagers provide, it is through learning to relax and focus on the sensations that intensity of feelings are multiplied creating the synergistic harmonics leading to orgasmic states. There have been numerous threads authored on this Forum discussing the range of sensations one may experience (remember every individual is unique so no two experiences will be identical). This Peridise thread has many replies about what the experience has been for others. ... have any females had similar experiences with the Peridise that many of the male members here have had with their other Aneros products? The thread A WOMAN IN "PERIDISE" by 'lyn2694' offers one woman's experience with these little devices.

While not specifically Peridise related, you and your partner may find reading the Women Too chapter of the Aneros WIKI and the Sticky : A Wife's Perspective thread useful information and insight into this topic. Additionally, you may enjoy reading the Blog entries of members 'artform' and 'STARR831' as they touch upon Aneros usage with their partners. You may also be interested in reading the posts of some of our female members as they discuss use of these devices in their lives. Here are some of the other female member posters – 'Alana', 'Boston Babe', 'buttercup', 'happygirl', "happywife", 'hiswife', IlyenaMiranda', 'Lilylol', 'lynn2694', 'midnitebelle51', 'musicman', 'NunyaGA', 'nurselady', 'QueenBee', 'Ruby Ryder', 'Yoshiko' and 'zaneblue' (Marenna Lindberg – Author of “The Orgasmic Diet” for women).

P.S. Your girlfriend is more than welcome to join the Aneros Forum membership as well, especially as she may add special insight from the woman's point of view. There is also a rumor about a possible future new Lady Aneros model called EVI (let the slideshow run to see a picture)????
