Here is a link to some material that I have been using to practice my relaxation and deep breathing. I have made great progress with this along with some great music that I have found.

Tks bama -- good reminder for those who may be locked into a single relaxation scheme.

Agree on the link to Temple. Brief but excellent path to a relaxed state:

Here's another that covers several more categories
    http://healthylifestyle.upmc.com/StressRelaxation.htm

It includes (good examples and actual demonstrations of each of these):

    • Mindfulness

    • Guided Imagery

    • Meditation

    • Progressive Muscle Relaxation (bama's link to Ralph Hick's site above is one of my favorites)

    • Yoga

    • Tai chi -- where I spend my Saturday mornings -- gud stuff

    • Repetitive Physical Exercise

    • Deep Breathing -- check also with KSMO (multiples.co) Kelly Howell's (brainsync) websites

    • Writing & Journaling

    • Several other activities
