Helix not going in all the way
  • Hey everybody,
so I bought a Helix recently and I'm pretty excited about it. Results so far have been good (I had been using a Nexus Excel for several months before, so I wasn't completely new to the experience), but no super-o yet. What really has me wondering though, is whether or not I even have the helix propperly inserted. What I mean by this is that it doesn't go all the way in, but rather the bottom inch or so sticks out. It's kind of hard to describe, so I used the picture of the helix model description and added a black line to indicate how far it goes in. See the image here:

When the helix is inserted up to that point, the p-tab is touching my perineum and I actually have trouble pushing it in any further (plus, if i do, it pops out again right away, so there's no point in that). Now this may not even be a problem; the helix feels kinda good as it is, but I'm just wondering whether I'm not using it corretly, or it's not a good fit for my anatomy, or if this is how it is actually supposed to be.

It doesn't sound like it's going in all the way. I have a Helix and it goes in further than you indicated, at least I think so. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Rumel had a great picture running around here a month or so ago that had a cross section picture of a dude's body with the Helix properly inserted. As luck would have it, I can't find it. I am sure it will pop up.

BTW, it does look based on your picture that you have it inserted properly. The picture will verify that. I will look some more for it.

    Found it:

The answers to your questions can be found in this thread Very important question about using the Helix and Eupho.

‘Buster’ – Thanks for the assist.
  • Sheesh, so I get the answer, get pointed to a thread that has the answer, which also has a link to another thread with the answer. Guess I really could've used the search function on this one! Anyway, thanks a lot to all that replied (and very fast, I should add) to my question! :)
