benefits/drawbacks from use of aneros
  • Hello,
Having just discovered this product and also being new to this site, I am reading all I can about Aneros; still haven't made the purchase decision yet though.

Question I have that I've been unable to find an answer on (or haven't found it yet) is since using the Aneros is in essence a form of autoeroticism, does its use cause any of you to prefer it versus having sex with your partner(s)? Reading about the "Super O" many of you have experienced, does that lessen at all the intensity and desire for sex with your partner(s) when instead an intense orgasm can be obtained via the use of aneros?

Conversely, because of the use of the aneros, have any of you been able to have multiple orgasm with your partner; i.e., have orgasms without ejaculation thus being able to have multiple orgasm at the same session? In essence, does use of the aneros allow you to have better control?

Sorry if these questions have been discussed before; perhaps you can send me the link to these prior discussions.
    Thanks for the feedback.
  • I am a newbie as I have only had my Helix for a week, but sex with my wife while using the Helix has been great. She thinks I am penetrating her a bit deeper, and I have had multiple orgasms with her while using it.

I have not used the Helix without my wife, and I have no plans to do so.
  • I am more a plaintiff(applicant) than my wife since I have aneros I am not any more deprived sexually I take charge of my body and too bad for my wife she(it) has qua to ask of the sex and I give to him(her)

You might want to read ”I bought the Helix for my husband, any advice…” and ”a wife’s dilemma”, both initiated by women who expressed similar concerns. Also, you may consider reading Sticky: A Wife’s Perspective” and ”Women Too” from the WIKI.
Personally, I don’t think a cold piece of plastic can, in any way, compare to the emotional bonds and support a loving couple can provide each other in ways of pleasure. The Aneros can, however, provide another opportunity to expand the realm of pleasure between such partners.
  • Hi new2here-

I can appreciate your skepticism. I did a lot of research before I made the plunge too. I can only answer from my experience and I have not reached the Super-O yet.

    1) It has increased my desire to have sex with my partner
    2) N/A. Have not reached the Super-O
    3) I have not had any multiples with my partner, have not read in the forum that it has helped in this matter.
    4) Have not found that it helps with better control

Long ago I likened the Aneros to a set of Tantric Training Wheels, the idea being that Aneros effectively lowers the bar on obtaining the MMO or Super O. Once one has become proficient in its use and has awakened their body in this way, it's possible to have powerful orgasms without the device, (by oneself or with a partner).

It should also be mentioned that the Aneros can be used right out of the box to optimize a traditional orgasm (ejaculation) alone or with a partner. Furthermore with regular use it promotes PC muscle tone so one can look forward to stronger erections and ejaculations.

As others have said, a piece of plastic will never take the place of the connection that can be made with a partner. But it can greatly enhance your erotic potential. Just think of the Aneros as a device for tuning-up your body.

"rumel", the links were very helpful although voluminous to go through; haven't yet read all but I will. "B Mayfield" also thanks for the insight you gave. I like the idea of tuning up for a great sport. And for "the Bishop", I too will join you in the quest for the Super O! :P
