• Too Much Bladder Pressure?

Started out with usual routine prep time, with a little extra bit of flex training to try and tire out the muscles beforehand. They were definitely a bit fatigued when starting up with the Peridise. It went in smoothly up to the last nub again, which rested half in and half out, like previous times. Once I had stopped conscious contractions of my anal muscles, there were a few bouts of involuntary ones, and some interesting movements.

However, in this round of "do nothing," I was interesting in trying to figure out if I needed to have the device in deeper for it to have its full effect. So with a gentle nudge, it went into my anus up to the hilt, with the tabs nuzzled against my outer anus. A few contractions to make sure it stayed there, then I went back to doing nothing, for the most part. For the first half hour, I could feel increased blood flow / my heartbeat in my anus and behind my testicles. There wasn't really much else going on, aside from the occasional involuntary movement of the device inside me. After about 40 minutes, a gradual feeling of needing to urinate started. Over the next 10 minutes, it got to the point where I really felt like I needed to urinate, even though I did so before starting the session. I tried to breathe through it, but it eventually got to the point where the hour was up, and I had to pee. Walking with the device in was interesting, as was trying to pee with it inside me.

Returning to the warm bedroom, I tried a few contractions and positions now that I didn't have that literal pressing need, but not much else happened. My body did not want to give up the device; so much so that it literally fought it keep it inside of me. There was a very slightly bit of pain in trying to get it out, but breathing and relaxing helped free it. Precum had been steadily leaking out of the tip of my penis, and my movements out of the room caused my entire penis to be slicked in precum along its underbelly, running slightly onto my scrotum. Water spray in the shower still feels amazing on my entire groin. Prostate definitely engorged with seminal fluid, and orgasm craving was strong. Did not orgasm or ejaculate.

***Next day result = Slight soreness around the outer anus, but less than before. Considering trying the next Peridise step smaller (out of the set of four) to see how that effect things. May still continue on with the largest to keep up the exercise routine, so to speak, in hopes my body will get used to it / keep working out.

  • Slow and Steady

Started out with warm, relax, flex, lube as usual. My anus was really enjoying my finger being in there for lubing purposes, so the Peridise went in smoothly. Stayed on my back a little while, doing deep breathing techniques and some gentle anal flexing to get the device into place. Again, it got up to the last bulb, half in and half out of my anus. Decided to keep it there, but did a few more extra gentle contractions while on my back to see if it would go in any further. The movement of the device inside my anus felt good, but it remained in the same position. Was tempted to stay on my back, but rolled onto my right side, as I've been having luck with that position lately.

This time with the "do nothing" approach, some slight movements stimulated my scrotum into pulling my testicles much closer to my body, which felt good. Worked on some half-contractions to try and tire my anal muscles out; a poster on the forums mentioned doing this to exhaust the muscles and tricking them into involuntaries. Although I never reached the exhaustion point, the conscious movements felt sweet moving around inside my anus, and there were occasional involuntary spasms that sent shivers through my groin area. These were few and far between, but when they happened, they were nice. Precum was steadily leaking out of the tip of my penis, and the pressure on my prostate wasn't the same as last session, but it was a little more gradual of a build. Will try to get the Peridise all the way in to the hilt next time, to see if this makes a difference in how it works inside me.

Post-session shower stimulation was pleasant, but not as peaked. Water spray on my scrotum, perineum, and frenulum still felt wonderful. Surprisingly stayed either completely flaccid or at 1/4 erection the entire time. Prostate definitely engorged with seminal fluid, and background arousal / craving for orgasm definitely palpable. Thinking about upping session frequency, but not sure just yet. Trying to keep to taking things slow.

***Next day result = A little soreness around the anus and inner sphincter, but nothing alarming. In the morning, when I woke up, there was some residual precum leakage, but that was it. Will keep up practice to see what comes next.

  • Calm Blue Ocean

Started out with what is the usual routine now - warm, relax, flex, lube. Getting the Peridise in place was easy, as my body has been craving it all day. At certain times earlier, I could feel an almost purring or thrumming inside the space between the base of my scrotum and my anus. Could be my prostate? Hard to know. It was a subtle vibration, in some ways, and it felt good. When my body pulled the device in on its own accord, it took it in up to the last bulb, where the last nub stayed half in, half out of my anus. Gentle contractions didn't pull it in any more than that, so I decided to keep it in that position unless my body pulled it in further.

Again tried the "do nothing" approach. I didn't get the same sweet feeling inside my anal / prostate / scrotum region, but in relaxing, I could feel my body sometimes making involuntary movements with the device. I could feel it gently moving a bit here and there, and it felt good. As I let my body relax throughout the session, even though the device wasn't moving much (at least consciously?), I felt a gradual increase of pressure on my prostate. It engorged with seminal fluid, and I could feel the pressure building inside. Mostly my penis remained flaccid, but with that pressure, more precum started leaking out the tip. At times, I was incredibly tempted to start conscious muscle contractions, but fought the idea away and tried to stay relaxed. The mounting pressure in my prostate was amazing, and it was craving release. At the end of the session, my body reluctantly gave up the Peridise, and released a significant amount of precum throughout.

During post-session shower, again the water spray felt amazing on my scrotum, perineum, and frenulum. It felt like I was at a dry half-orgasm (all sweet sensations, no spasming, climax, or ejaculation) for around five minutes. Was tempted to manually masturbate to orgasm, but fought the urge and didn't let myself peak. For the rest of the night, I occasionally leaked more precum, and that subtle purring or thrumming of my prostate area persists. It feels good, but it's like a gentle arousal in the background, distracting me from everything.

***Next day result = No soreness, but no next-day precum production, either. Will either try the same method next time, or possibly amp up contractions after relaxing to see if it produces different effects. Either way, eager to go again!

  • Extended Practice Time

Warmed up the room, used low light to encourage relaxation, and got everything I needed for a session laid out. After some relaxation breathing, anal muscle flexing, and setting up some calm background music, I was ready and eager to start.

My body eagerly took in the device, much like last time. Although I started on my back to let my anus pull the device all the way in, I soon rolled onto my right side to try out the traditional Aneros position - lower leg straight, upper leg towards chest - as last time it provided nice sensations. The last bulb was again right on the cusp of bring out and in, so this time I gently nudged it all the way in to the hilt.

Following some advice on an archived post on the forums, I tried a "newbie do nothing" approach at first to see where it would take me. According to the post, the first half hour was to let my body and mind relax, and forget the Peridise was even inside me. The music and breathing exercise helped me calm, and for the most part I could barely feel the device. After around fifteen minutes of not much of anything, I could feel something going on in my inner anus, behind my testicles, and very slightly on the underside of my scrotum. It's hard to describe; it was like a very vague, gentle throb that was accompanied by sweet feelings centered around that whole area. It lasted around a minute or so, then subsided. I kept trying to stay relaxed, and after five or so more minutes, it happened again, for about the same duration. Around ten minutes after that, it happened again, but for a very slightly longer duration. It felt great, and at no point did I get an erection, but my scrotum definitely reacted, by pulling my testicles closer to my body and getting stiffer on the surface.

At the half hour mark, I decided to try some soft contractions. They felt good, and I only used about half-strength as to not try and force anything too too much. While trying to hold a firm half-flex, sometimes (not sure if it was involuntary or voluntary) the muscles inside my anus would contract, sending pleasant feelings through my anal area. Much like last time, I really wanted to keep going, but at the forty minute mark, I reminded myself I was trying to go slow. While slowly removing the device, I could feel it bump up against my prostate, which was engorged with fluid. Precum was steadily leaking out my urethra and down the shaft of my penis. My body was reluctant to give up the device, like usual, but the longer session left some very vague soreness - and a lot of non-erection based arousal. It felt like I wanted to orgasm, but not via penile stimulation; it was confusing.

During post-session shower, while rinsing off my genitals, the way the water spray hit my scrotum and vibrated my testicles felt absolutely amazing. I spent a while stimulating that area, riding those feelings and again feeling like I wanted to orgasm, but not through my penis. If I could have orgasmed from rubbing my testicles through my scrotum, I would have (and tried). Prostate definitely stimulated, and full of seminal fluid; leaked precum for the rest of the night intermittently. Eager to try the next round of "do nothing," hopefully with more of those sweet feelings echoing around inside my anus.

***Next day result = A bit of residual anal soreness, but nothing terrible. A good reminder to keep the slow and steady pace of practice, and that there is no instant gratification here. Looking forward to next time!

  • Experiments & Hypotheses

Turned the heat up higher than usual, kept the bedroom nice and warm so that I wouldn't have to worry about clothes, covers, or chills. Did some yoga breathing, then added gentle flexing and relaxing of anal muscles with them. No precum yet, but my body was relaxed and ready - been looking forward to this since the last session.

Used the same amount of lube and massaged some in, then put a layer on the device. My body was eager to take it in; it pulled it in to the first bulb with little resistance. With some gentle muscle movements, eventually it slid in just on the cusp of the last bulb, which stayed half inside and half outside of my outer sphincter. Started out on my back again, with legs bent, and small movements and contractions felt good. Squatted for a while again, which had a similar effect as last time, kind of encouraging my anus, inner sphincter, and rectum to wake up. Tried lying with my legs up at a right angle, resting on a cushion (a forum user really likes this position with the Peridise), but after a while of trying it out, it really wasn't doing much for me.

Decided to try the traditional Aneros position of lying on your right side, with my lower leg straight, and the upper leg pulled in towards my chest. At first, it didn't feel much different, but when I started gentle contractions, it was like night and day. I could feel the device sliding around inside me, and I had to feel with my fingers to make sure it wasn't sliding out - it was in to the hilt, and not out at all, though it felt like it was moving miles in and out of me. It was nearing the end of my session time (go slow), and I really wanted to keep going, but I didn't want to push it. Rolled onto my back & although my body was reluctant to give up the device (so was I), it slid out after some coaxing. Precum was oozing out of the tip of my flaccid penis, and dripping down the frenulum. I felt really turned on, but without an erection. Next time, I will definitely start in the side position!

***Next day result = everything feels normal, and even feels like hemorrhoids are shrinking from work outs? Feeling a difference in which muscles I can move: ones that just pull up my scrotum / testicles, ones in the "root" behind my penis, possibly also the inner and outer anal sphincters? Wondering which I should concentrate on, and which I should just let happen all together. Isolating each different one might have benefits? I guess we'll see; looking forward to next session already!

  • Excited to Keep Going

Before starting tonight, I made sure the bedroom was warm and the lights were low. Sat a while with eyes closed and just breathed deeply. After a bit, started gently flexing anal muscles in sync with breathing, taking a break a few breaths, then repeating. By the time I felt ready for the session, I was already leaking precum - a good sign!

Massaged lube in and around anus; was so relaxed and ready that the devise slid right in. My body practically devoured it; it really wanted it inside me. Barely had to flex anal muscles to bring the device into position, but still took some time to do gentle contractions and relaxations. Started out on back with legs bent in a comfortable position - contractions made movements inside my anus that felt good. Tried lying flat out on back again with the same result; more pressure on prostate and sweet feelings in my gut. Decided to try squatting for a while, and surprisingly, it seemed to really wake up my anus / anal canal / muscles a lot. Could feel the device moving very slightly on it own, and whole area being stimulated. Went back to lying down with legs bent, and it was like my body had activated itself. Had some involuntary anal spasms that felt wonderful. At times it felt like the device was going all the way in and all the way out, but feeling with my fingers, it was barely moving.

Precum was leaking down my flaccid penis, and it felt very good. Although I'd intended to do a short session, 15 minutes had practically flown by, and my body wanted to keep going. I wanted to keep going. But I forced myself to take it slow, and ended the session. Again, my body wanted to keep the device inside, and it even pulled it back in at one point on its own. Is it from the different positions? Different session lengths? Can't wait to try it out again and see what is best. Feeling stimulated!

***Next day result = all is well, and minimal prostate soreness. Again, a few hours after the session, I was leaking precum. This is really a great fringe benefit. Stepping up exercise to twice a week, even though I'm really tempted to start practicing every other day. Taking it slow, but making great progress.

  • In the Right Direction

Same startup as last few sessions - preparing beforehand is really helpful for relaxing and training. Anus still getting used to the device, but it's getting easier with practice. Gently contracted anal muscles to draw the device in, and it went in all the way on its own. Attributing this to breathing, relaxing, and gentle muscle movements.

Started out on back with legs bent, but tried a few new positions. Lying down completely flat - contractions caused a little more pressure on my prostate and more perceptible movements inside my anal canal; felt really good. Tried seated with legs bent - put much more pressure on my prostate, but it felt like it was more difficult to get the device to move around due to being seated; was nice and will try it again. On all fours face-down allowed for easier breathing, but didn't bring any better movements into play. Session went a little longer than before, and scrotum, testicles, and anus were all definitely stimulated, had increased blood flow, and felt great. Penis remained flaccid, but prostate significantly enlarged with seminal fluid again. Plenty of precum produced and mild ache most likely due to pressure of the fluid build-up without total release. No masturbating; no orgasm.

Mostly device stayed all the way in, but when last bulb remained out of body, the movements felt more effective on stimulating my body. Will work on keeping it out a little with inner muscles. Body still reluctant to give up the device, but it did slide out a little easier than before. Honestly, I wanted to keep it inside me and keep going, too. Baby steps.

***Next day result = everything feeling great! No residual soreness at all. For a few hours after the session, I could feel precum leaking up through and out of the tip of my penis. Normally, I don't produce too much, so this has been a nice result of exercise. This morning, when practicing my no-device muscle contractions, my body produced more precum - which is great! Definitely feeling like I'm moving in the right direction!

  • Baby Steps

Started the same way as last session - relax, contractions, lubricate. On back, deep breaths, anal massage, introduce device. Anus was slightly more accepting than last time, but it was still slightly challenging. Gently contracted anal muscles to slowly draw the device in, which it did much like last time, but more reluctantly. This might have been due to using more lubrication than before. Will consider amount next time and adjust accordingly.

Gentle, gradual contractions, then release, felt good. could feel the same gentle stimulation around my scrotum, testicles, and this time, anus. Penis remained mostly flaccid, but sexual arousal was quietly simmering in the background. Went a little longer on time to see if I got any additional effects or different sensations - this time, it was more of the same, but nothing new. Minuscule movements of the device felt good - purely using my sphincter muscles. Again, body didn't want to give up the device. It's like once it's locked in place, my body wants it to be part of my body permanently. Gradually used breathing and relaxing to get it out again. Anus felt normal. Same amount of precum produced as last time, and definitely could feel prostate stimulation / "fullness" - especially when pressing on perineum. Again, did not masturbate, did not orgasm.

Wondering about device placement - how far in is a supposed to go? Past the last bulb? Leave the last bulb out? will ask on the forums and see what people have experienced themselves. Still feeling things out, but definitely want to keep going.

***Next day result = everything feeling normal! Same benefits as last session, and no prostate soreness at all. Still going to take things slow, regardless of success. If next session goes as well, will consider bumping up length of sessions and frequency. Feeling like I'm on the right track.

  • Starting Again

Two years ago, I bought the set of four Peridise massagers with the full intention of using them for anal health, pleasure, and prostate stimulation. In my first session back then, I used the second-smallest Peridise. Against all reason, I decided to go to town. Lots of flexing, breathing, and clenching for an hour and a half. It felt good at the time, but the next day, there were awful health repercussions - they were horrific enough that I gave up on any anal use at all; outside of normal bodily functions. It was a bit crushing, as previously, my anus had been a source of great pleasures.

Fast-forward to now. Taking a lot of advice to heart, I decided to go slow in reclaiming my body. For the past year, I've been gently reintroducing my anus to stimulation and penetration using my finger or small, smooth toys. Finally, I felt like I was ready to try the Peridise again. It was really nerve-wracking at first, but using yoga breathing techniques helped keep my body and mind at ease.

Read up on the Aneros forums about how to use the Peridise - supposed to start with the largest size, and work your way down as you tone your anal muscles. It looked small enough. Followed the directions in the box (relax, practice contractions with no device in, then lubricate). Used a gloved finger to apply ID brand lube (an old favorite) to outer anus, massaged some around, then eventually inside. Applied generous amount to bulb on largest Peridise, then all over the shaft.

Reclined on back with legs bent (or in air, bent) for ease of access and reclining posture. Used deep, relaxing breaths. Massaged my anus with gloved finger, then very slowly introduced it to the device. Outer sphincter was reluctant to stretch that far, so kept breathing, gently moved the device just slightly in and out, not breaching the halfway point around that first momentous bulb. Eventually my body took it in, reluctantly, but smoothly. Directions said to let go, which I did, and gently contracted my anal muscles to try and draw the rest in. With deep breathing and gentle contractions / relaxation, I was satisfied to just let my body get used to it being inside my outer sphincter. After a few minutes, felt around with my hand and was surprised to feel that my body pulled the whole thing in up to the hilt on its own.

Used gentle, gradual contractions, then releases, and it felt good. It felt like the device was sliding in and out, but it really was all the way in the whole time. Felt a gradual warming around my scrotum and testicles; maybe from increased blood flow? Penis never got erect, but could feel sexual arousal almost in the background. Continued gentle contractions / releases and breathing until timer went off (start slow), then two minutes longer (felt good). When not flexing, I could barely feel the device inside me. When time was up, I softly tried to start sliding out the device. My body didn't want to give it up; it was like it liked it, like it was almost locked in place. Had trouble getting bulb past inner sphincter; breathing and relaxing eventually freed it. More breathing and relaxing got the bulb to my outer anus, where it resisted, then eventually popped out smoothly. Felt around my anus; felt normal / no extrusions. Getting ready for post-train shower, noticed precum pooled at tip of my flaccid penis. More oozed out during shower - anus feels all right but definitely fatigued. Prostate was definitely stimulated and engorged. Did not masturbate; did not orgasm. It's not about that - I'm training my anus, not looking for penile orgasms. Hopefully tomorrow will be all right.

***Next day result = anus slightly more tender than usual, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Hemorrhoids felt smaller or maybe just stayed inside body more today, even after morning BM. A few hours after exercising last night, prostate was a little sore at times. Could be from being stimulated / engorged with prostatic fluid, then little to no release? Or just from actually getting a bit of non-masturbatory exercise? No soreness in morning. Immediately thought "time to do this every night!!!" but GO SLOW. Will start off weekly (maybe Fridays?) and gradually bump up exercise routine if all goes well. Feeling positive.

9 Item(s)

A to Z

A anal sphincter

The ring of muscles surrounding the anus. There are two rings, the outer and the inner. The outer is under voluntary control. The inner is not (it is controlled by the autonomic nervous system but can be trained to relax therapeutically with biofeedback). To identify this muscle, squeeze your anus as though you are holding back gas. This is the muscle that primarily drives the motion of the Aneros.

B Benign Prostate Hyperplasia

Or BPH. A non-cancerous enlarging of the prostate common in middle aged and older men, often causing urinary symptoms. BPH is one of the prostate ailments that the Aneros was originally developed to help treat. (from the wiki)

see Benign Prostate Hyperplasia

H hands-free

The patented design of our massagers allows them to be used completely – hands-free. This is an advantage over other prostate massagers. It allows an Aneros massager to be used in any position the user wants. More importantly, it frees the user to focus solely on the sensations instead of making a conscious effort to manually manipulate the massager. This subtle freedom is important for bringing the mind and body together during a session, which by many experience users is considered a required technique to master in order to achieve a Super-O.

J journey to the Super-O

Aneros massagers can be enjoyed in many different ways – to enhance a strength and pleasure of penile orgasms during partnered or solo sex, or solely for the pleasures derived from prostate orgasms. The ultimate experience for the route is the Super-O. The practice and understanding of how an Aneros massager, the body, and mind play off of one another to eventually achieve a Super-O is now commonly referred to as the “Journey to the Super-O” by our community members. For some men, this learning period is short in duration. For others, it can take quite some time. There are some key milestones on this journey – they can be viewed

K Kundalini Tab

Also known as the K-Tab.  Curves upwards to rest above the anus between the buttocks to pressure on an acupressure spot there. Named after the yoga concept that there is a serpent of power located at the base of the body’s trunk. The K-Tab and the arm that it extends from has taken the place of the handle seen in other Aneros models. (adapted from the wiki)

P PC muscle

The pubococcygeus muscle, one of a number of muscles in the pelvic floor. It is a hammock-like muscle, found in both sexes, that stretches from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tail bone) forming the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs. The PC muscle is largely involved in sexual response and contracting during orgasm. It is believed that strengthening leads to longer, more powerful orgasms. (from the wiki)

pelvic floor

The set of muscles that span the area beneath the pelvis, supporting the pelvic organs. (from the wiki)

The area between the scrotum and anus. The perineum provides external access to the prostate and a pudendal nerve acupressure spot.

perineum tab

On Aneros devices, the front arm which curves upward to press on the perineum during an Aneros session.   This actions prevents external prostate stimulation.  It also acts as a fulcrum against which the device can pivot to perform the internal prostate stimulation.

Aneros massagers are made from 3 different types of plastic. All are FDA approved and medical-grade, non-porous, and each has the right density for the right weight and balance for that particular model.

Inflammation of the prostate. Although there are many suspected causes, (bacterial infection, auto-immune response and neuromuscular tension), prostatitis remains an intractable disease which is often times unresponsive to traditional forms of treatment. Before the advent of antibiotics prostate massage was the first line form of treatment. In recent years with many people turning to holistic and homeopathic forms of medicine, prostate massage has been enjoying resurgence. (from the wiki)

Prostate specific antigen. A chemical produced in the prostate and measured in the blood as an indication of cellular activity in the prostate. Abnormally high levels of PSA may indicate health concerns such as inflammation or cancer. The PSA measurement may be elevated by ejaculation, and any form of anal play, including the Aneros. Ask your doctor for a recommended period of abstention prior to taking this test (the Aneros manufacturer suggests a few days to a week). (from the wiki)

S silicone

We call our silicone “Velvet Touch” for its luxurious, matte finish which is designed to hold lubricant. Silicone is used in our Syn models as well as the Vice and deVice.

An abbreviation of Super orgasm. An overwhelmingly strong non-ejaculatory orgasmic event. Orgasms that have no refractory period allowing them to be repeated multiple times.  Though different for each man, the Super-O is considered to be the ultimate pleasure a man can achieve.
